Amazing Clubs has an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, an incredible track record of customer satisfaction, and earns our top ranking among pie clubs.

On the Southern Baked Pie Company website

Southern Baked Pie Company is a winner as far as flavor diversity goes. Their sweet and savory pies make a delicious treat or cozy dinner. They also have gluten-free options, which we've rarely found. Subscriptions include 1 pie per month for either 3, 6, or 12 months. Pies are highly rated, but the cost is more than some other places, plus you may spend around $40 on shipping alone. This was the major kicker for us with this company, but otherwise it's a perfect option for a pie club.

On the Grand Traverse Pie Company website

Grand Traverse Pie Company specializes in gourmet pies. Their flavors take on classic pies we all love, adding their own gourmet flair. Customers can choose a 3, 6, or 12-month subscription to these pies and either select their own flavors for the whole duration of the club or have Grand Traverse Pie Company choose flavors for them. The cost of a subscription is comparable to what we've discovered from other places and we like that these pies arrive ready to eat or can be frozen for later. Grand Traverse Pie Company receives major compliments from their customers and an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, so we've given them a high rating as well.

On the Piedaho website

Piedaho is a family-owned company that specializes in hand crafted pies that are sent to your door frozen and ready to enjoy (or freeze for longer storage). Customers really like the variety of flavors here and all agree that their pies are fresh and delicious. You can opt for 2, 4, or 12 large 10" pies per year with your subscription starting at $120. Shipping and a pie cutter is included with the cost of each order. Outside of the pie subscription, Piedaho offers gluten-free pies, which are really hard to come by, so surely this store will be a good fit for a lot of people. We're excited about Piedaho and have given them one of our top ratings.

On the Chocolate Maven Bakery website

Chocolate Maven Bakery is a restaurant and online bakery. They are a local hot-spot for Santa Fe tourists and locals who love the quality and diversity of their food. Plus, they have a wide variety of pastries and baked goods that can be added to your monthly pie subscription to be delivered each month. Pies are delivered monthly, but you can easily pause, skip, or cancel your membership altogether so you aren't ever tied into anything. Pies are only $25 and subscriptions come with free shipping, so you'll get the most bang for your buck here. There aren't as many flavor rotations as we've found from other pie clubs, but the price alone here is worth some potential repeat pie flavors. Chocolate Maven Bakery is a pie club that's easy to recommend.

On the Butter & Crumb Pie Company website

Butter & Crumb Pie Company has delectable pies in both sweet and savory flavors. Their pie memberships can be purchased for 3, 6, or 12-month durations starting at $170. This is a small company that uses high-quality ingredients and hand-makes all their products. We found shipping to be pretty expensive, which was one downside of a membership for us. They also don't offer any type of refund or customer satisfaction guarantee, so that was something we took into consideration when deciding to give this company a slightly-above-average rating.

On the Goldbelly website

Goldbelly is an online food marketplace where restaurants can offer some of their most beloved dishes to loyal customers all throughout the country who want to have them shipped to them. There is so much to explore here, including their pie subscription. Surprise pie flavors are shipped once a month for either 3, 6, 9, or 12 months depending on what you choose. Each pie serves 8-10 people and is $64.95/month with free shipping. As far as where exactly the pies come from, how they are shipped, and how long they stay fresh, we aren't sure since Goldbelly doesn't list this information. The company has earned high ratings from customers, so it's a great place to shop for a lot of things, but we aren't entirely sold on it being the best or most affordable option for a pie subscription.

On the CRUST website

CRUST has a wide array of pastries and other baked goods that can be purchased from their online store. Their pie-of-the-month club, otherwise known as "Cutie Pie Club", comes in either a 3- or 6-month subscription. Customers will receive a 6" pie delivered each month. Pies arrive slightly thawed from a frozen state and need to be enjoyed within 3 days. Shipping is free here, but pricing still seems a little high considering you're only getting one small pie each month. Their flavors are pretty common, so this company has only earned an average rating here.

On the Three Babes Bakeshop website

Three Babes Bakeshop is based out of San Francisco, California with options to pick up pies from their storefront, ship them locally, or send nut pies nationwide. If you do a subscription here, you'll only get nut pie varieties if you live outside of San Francisco. They do have gluten-free and vegan pies, but again, these are really only accessible to those who live close by. Three Babes Bakeshop uses fresh, organic ingredients, so it's a high-quality option, but we are disappointed that they aren't really available to everyone, so they've earned our lowest ranking among pie clubs.

Which Pie Club Subscription is the Best?

As a society we've made pie a staple dessert for many holidays all throughout the year. Celebrating the 4th of July? Don't forget the blueberry pie. Thanksgiving? Bring on the pumpkin. Christmas? Apple pie all the way. But you don't need to wait for a holiday to eat pie.

With a pie club, you can get continual pie deliveries to be enjoyed right away or frozen for later when you want them. Customers choose the duration of deliveries, how often they come, and sometimes even the pie flavor shipped each month. A usual subscription of deliveries is around 3, 6, 9, or 12 months long, but some vendors have ongoing subscriptions that will continue indefinitely until you cancel.

Some companies will display what their flavors for the year are going to be and others will surprise you with each order. In between, you can often do single pie purchases as well if you want to try a one-off flavor or need extra for a big event.

A good pie is a satisfying treat that can be enjoyed with Sunday night dinners or at any other time for no major reason at all. It's a crowd favorite that you can't go wrong with. But have you ever made pie? It's one thing to enjoy it, but a whole other level if you're making one from scratch. Pie-making can be quite the ordeal and takes a lot of steps and time to get it just right.

You've got to make the crust, chill it, roll it out, make the filling, piece it all together beautifully, and then bake it. Making pie can be a fun and satisfying tradition, but most of us don't regularly have time for that. Luckily there are companies dedicated to preparing fresh pies and delivering them straight to your door so you can serve them with no mess or hassle whatsoever.

Many pie clubs prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients, so you don't need to worry that you'll receive a lesser quality product than what you could make yourself. You'll be able to try far more flavors than you've ever experienced that will delight your family, guests, or whoever you might consider gifting a pie subscription to. When deciding which pie company to sign up with, take the following things into consideration:

The experts at Top Consumer Reviews have researched the best pie clubs available for you to sign up for online. Our in-depth look at these subscriptions will help you choose a company that offers convenient, mouth-watering pies that you can indulge in all year round!

Pie Club FAQ

What should I look for in a pie club?
Since there are a lot of pie clubs competing for your business, it's important to pay attention to some key things. The most obvious one is their menu. See if they list all their flavors so you can get an idea of whether or not they make a wide variety of unique pies and if their ingredients are something that excites you. You don't want to get bored with pies you have already tried a million times or get too many repeat flavors in your deliveries over time. Next, look at their pricing and see if they offer discounts for subscribers and how much it will be over the duration of your subscription. Is shipping free? Or is it a pricey addition to your pies? Lastly, pay attention to the Better Business Bureau rating for the company and the reviews from their buyers. This will let you know more about the quality of the pies, how reliable delivery is, and if their customer service is swift in taking care of issues. Among these three main things, you should be able to pick a pie club that you'll be happy with.
What pie flavors can I expect in my subscription?
There are some staple pie flavors we've all come to know and love like apple, pumpkin, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, and even chocolate. But this is just scratching the surface of how many amazing options are out there to be explored. Pie clubs have created a delectable selection of pies you've likely never even tried before that can be delivered straight to your door on a regular schedule. You're in for fun flavors like cherry lattice, berry crumb, salted caramel, and ginger pear.
Why should I subscribe to a pie club?
When you can avoid going to a store or running from place to place to find what you're looking for, shopping online is always more convenient. You can quickly browse all pie flavors in a company's inventory from home and compare pricing among other brands too. It's the best way to get the lowest prices and keep an eye on sales. Plus, when it comes to food items like pies, it saves a significant amount of time and mess if someone else does all the work for you. It may also be your only option if you want to try the unique variety of flavors out there or don't feel entirely confident in your culinary skills. Brick-and-mortar gourmet pie stores are really hard to find, so there's also a high chance that you won't even be able to get the pies you're looking for unless you buy them online.
How do I know if the pies from a club contain something I'm allergic to?
If you're concerned about potential allergens in your pies, be sure to buy from a company that lists all their ingredients and nutrition facts on their website. Often they'll list them out by flavor so you know ahead of time if everything is safe for you. Companies that are dairy-, soy-, egg-, or nut-free will often promote this as a selling point for people who are looking to avoid these ingredients. If you can't find the ingredient information you're looking for, always reach out to the company directly and they'll be sure to give you all the details you need to know about their recipes.
How often will I need to order my pies?
The great thing about a subscription is that you set it up once and won't have to give it a second thought afterwards. Once you place an initial order that specifies the duration of your deliveries, the quantity, and flavors (if you get to choose), you won't have to do anything afterwards. Pies will be delivered based on the schedule you set and the only thing you do from there is anticipate your delivery and enjoy your pies upon arrival.
What if I don't like the kind of pie that comes in my shipment?
If you're subscribing to a company that surprises you with flavors in each delivery, it's possible that you'll get a shipment of something you aren't a big fan of. Look for a company that offers a satisfaction guarantee in case your pie isn't fresh or something else is wrong with it. Usually they'll refund your money or offer you a store credit in this case. Otherwise, hopefully the people you are sharing your pie with will be excited about the flavor even if it isn't your favorite.
How long will my pies stay fresh?
Since every company uses different ingredients, they may vary a bit in how long they are shelf-stable for. Most of the time, the company will send you information with your delivery about how soon you need to enjoy your pie or how to freeze it if you plan to save it for a later date. The companies we prefer typically use high-quality ingredients without preservatives, so it's a good rule of thumb to just eat your pie within a day or two of it being delivered.
Do pie clubs make a good gift?
One reason pies make a fantastic gift is because a single person can enjoy it for days or it can feed a group. Everyone loves a good pie, so you can't go wrong. We love it when we find a company that offers packaging that revolves around a holiday or special event because then not only are you giving a delicious gift, but it also comes with a beautiful presentation. You can usually add a personalized gift message for whoever is receiving the subscription as well.
