Who doesn't love chocolate AND popcorn? Moose Munch is well-known for its delectable blend of sweet-and-salty popcorn, dark or milk chocolate, and often pecans, macadamias, or other nuts. The three plans available from Harry & David, makers of Moose Munch, include two 10-oz. bags per shipment, and you decide if you prefer a 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscription. All plans are under $25/month, making this one of the more affordable options. Just keep in mind that you're not getting a huge bucket of popcorn like other Popcorn Clubs.
Gourmet Gift Baskets offers a wide variety of gift-giving options for foodies of every type. But, compared with rival retailers, their Popcorn Club doesn't quite measure up. It's the most expensive, and you'll only get a 1-gallon container of a single flavor with each delivery. Plus, the store doesn't have a clearly-stated satisfaction guarantee, leaving us wondering what happens if a flavor falls flat for your gift recipient. We recommend considering the higher-ranked Popcorn Clubs we reviewed.
If you - or someone you love - is a fan of the white, fluffy goodness that is popcorn, what better than to have it delivered right to the home or office on the regular? Because really, the stuff you get at the theater is usually way too salty, dripping with fake butter, and definitely doesn't taste good after a day of sitting in the bucket. And, what you can buy at your local supermarket has probably been sitting on a shelf for so long, there's no way that it's going to be fresh. Right?
Popcorn Clubs take this treat to a whole other level of deliciousness. Did you know that cheddar and caramel are not the only two flavor options out there? Start shopping around and comparing monthly subscription plans, and soon you'll discover that there are artisans crafting crazy flavors like Dill Pickle, Mango Habanero, and holiday-specific tastes like Cranberry and Winter Spice.
As a gift-giving option, Popcorn Clubs make it easy to really "wow" your lucky recipient. Most plans let you choose how many deliveries you'd like to buy, usually ranging from a single month to once a month for a full year. Some even let you stagger the shipments, bringing freshly-crafted popcorn once per season. The best clubs let your recipient preview what will be coming in their upcoming deliveries, so that they can skip a month if a flavor isn't their favorite or if they're going to be out of town.
Of course, no two Popcorn Clubs are alike, so it's worth doing a little bit of research before you select the one for your next monthly subscription.
