Fisher's Popcorn has a long history spanning most of the last century. In 1937, Everett Fisher and Edmund Pusey opened Pixton's Popcorn on Talbot Street's Boardwalk. After Edmund's departure, Everett continued making his delicious caramel popcorn using his secret recipe. His son, Donald Fisher, joined him and even managed the stand during Everett's military service in WWII.
From the 1950s to today
In the 1950s, Donald and his wife Calvina ran the stand in Ocean City, while Marty and her husband, Bill, started their own store in Fenwick Island in the 1980s. You can either choose to receive the same kind in every delivery or let Fisher's surprise you each month, but the range of options is much smaller than most of the rival clubs we evaluated: Caramel, Butter, Aged Sharp White Cheddar, Kettle Corn, Caramel Peanut, Caramel Dusted w/White Cheddar, Old Bay Seasoned Caramel, and Pumpkin Spice were the examples on their list, but not all of those were available to select in the subscription details.
