Better World Club provides 24/7 Roadside Assistance for vehicles and bicycles in all 50 states as well as Canada. Eligible vehicles include all vehicles under 1-ton class, RVs, all types of noncommercial bicycles, motorcycles, scooters 50cc or larger, and most types of recreational vehicles. If you have a hybrid or an electric car, you'll get a 10% discount on your rates for every year you continue to be eco-driven.
3 membership options
There are three types of yearly membership you can get through BWC and you can call customer service to upgrade at any time. To initiate a membership, there is a $15 sign-up fee. Coverage begins 3 days after you sign up for a membership. The plans include:
Additional membership benefits
Every few weeks you'll also receive an email that allows you to save hundreds of dollars on select items like security cameras, electric toothbrushes, laptops, takeout and delivery, jewelry, and more.
AAA price match
Interestingly, BWC will price match AAA. AAA has different prices depending on the region you live in, so for areas where you might get a better deal through AAA, BWC will price match as long as it is not a promotional price.
45-minute response time
Staying in line with their commitment to conservation, you will not receive any physical materials once you sign up with Better World Club. In order to call for help, all you need is your member number and the 24/7 Roadside Assistance number found in your confirmation email. Once you reach out to BWC, their average response time is 45 minutes.
Cancel within 30 days for a full refund
If you cancel your membership with BWC within the first 30 days, they'll give you a full refund as long as you haven't used any of your service calls. After 30 days you'll get a prorated refund of unused membership dues less the value of services rendered since the date of your enrollment.
What makes Better World Club (BWC) stand out from their competitors is their green initiative. Since their company began 19 years ago, they've made it their mission to protect the environment as well as you and your family. They are the only certified B Corporation Roadside Assistance company. Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. Specifically, Better World Club is 100% carbon neutral and they donate to dozens of environmental causes. In addition, they have a solid "A" rating from the Better Business Bureau
Choose them for their mission
The big reason to choose Better World Club isn't because their benefits are so much better than their competitors, but it's because you want to get behind their mission as an environmentally-friendly company. We like the pricing and details about plans are more straightforward at BWC than through many of their competitors. If you like the idea of having Roadside Assistance through a B Corporation, this is the way to go.
Whether you're just running errands around town or you're cruising along on your family road trip, having your car break down is an extremely frustrating event. It completely throws off your day and sometimes even leaves you in danger. Having a reliable Roadside Assistance plan takes a load off by having someone quickly come to your rescue and help you figure out the next steps to get your car back up and running.
Sometimes we don't think about unfortunate circumstances like a car breaking down until they happen and we are left without options. It's important to plan ahead and evaluate which of the many Roadside Assistance plans fit your circumstances so that you don't have to worry about unforeseen car troubles that will inevitably happen. Plans might include towing, jump-starts, fuel delivery, theft protection, lockouts, tire changes, and more.
You can customize your plans with additional add-ons like trip interruption coverage or even financial assistance with legal defense help if you get a speeding ticket. The cost for Roadside Assistance will depend on the plan you choose. Most plans allow for you to use your coverage regardless of who owns the car you're driving and you can easily get protection for the whole family.
