Dermefface FX7 is a scar reduction cream made to dramatically fade the appearance of acne scars, chicken pox scars, injury scars, and burn scars and help restore psychological confidence in your skin. The scar cream is developed by Board Certified Dr. Dave David, a leading aesthetic surgeon. Dermefface FX7 appears to be a science-based formula, but doesn't receive as much helpful customer feedback as some of its competitors.
Lucent Skin is a product made by Revitol. It is one of many products in their skincare line that includes eye creams, anti-aging cream, rosacea cream, hair removal cream, stretch mark prevention, and more. Lucent Skin is intended to remove the appearance of scars by increasing collagen, providing necessary vitamins, and reducing inflammation. Overall, Revitol's website is unprofessional and does not offer much information about the ingredients in the expensive Lucent Skin product.
Whether it be from falling off your bike as a kid, burning yourself in the kitchen, getting in a car accident, or having surgery, there are endless ways we all end up with scars. If your scar came as a result of a really cool story, maybe you'll even want to wear it as a badge of honor. However, this is rarely the case and most of the time we want smooth skin that looks unblemished.
Scars are the result of our body healing wounds. Even though they aren't very pretty, scars are the aftermath of the amazing way our body heals itself. When the dermis (deep layer of skin) is damaged, the body produces new collagen fibers to mend the damage and close the skin back up. This area of healing will look a bit different than the original surrounding skin, thus resulting in an obvious scar.
Scars do begin to naturally heal over a few years and even lose some discoloration, but they never completely disappear. Depending on the size, color, and location of the scar, most people want to erase the obvious appearance of the healing skin as fast as possible. Luckily, there are many over-the-counter solutions to hide these scars faster than waiting years for them to slowly start to fade.
