Lucent Skin is one of many skin care products made by Revitol. It was formulated to help customers get rid of unsightly scars at an affordable price. Revitol claims that Lucent Skin is clinically proven and made with natural ingredients, but they do not list the ingredients anywhere on the website. What is listed on the page for Lucent Skin is a sales pitch and some filtered reviews.
Revitol basically claims that Lucent Skin works to remove all types of scars. Whether they are old or new, on oily or dry skin, an acne scar or the result of a surgical incision, supposedly Lucent Skin can erase them all. Since only four filtered reviews are shown on the website, we don't really know if all the claims about Lucent Skin's magic ability to erase scars is true.
What we do know is that Lucent Skin is pricey. For one bottle, customers will pay $59.95. This is only a trial offer, meaning the purchase of one bottle signs you up for an auto ship program where you'll be sent another container every 30 days and charged $59.95 each time. Unless customers cancel by calling customer service, they will keep being charged and shipped new Lucent Skin products. What is even more ridiculous is that Revitol does not even tell customers the size of the Lucent Skin cream. The picture online makes the container appear to be about 1 fl. Oz, but unless you purchase it, there is no way to know for sure. Other options for buying Lucent Skin include a buy 2, get 1 free option for $119.90 or buy 3, get 3 free for $179.85. These last two packages do not sign customers up for the auto ship program.
90 day guarantee
A 90-day guarantee is in place that allows customers to get a full refund if they don't see "dramatic results" after using Lucent Skin. If it were up to us, we would avoid the hassle of having to send the product back by not buying it in the first place. Revitol has given us few reasons to trust their product by giving minimal information, expensive pricing, and an unappealing sales page. Your best bet is to stick with a higher-rated scar cream, rather than purchasing Lucent Skin.
Whether it be from falling off your bike as a kid, burning yourself in the kitchen, getting in a car accident, or having surgery, there are endless ways we all end up with scars. If your scar came as a result of a really cool story, maybe you'll even want to wear it as a badge of honor. However, this is rarely the case and most of the time we want smooth skin that looks unblemished.
Scars are the result of our body healing wounds. Even though they aren't very pretty, scars are the aftermath of the amazing way our body heals itself. When the dermis (deep layer of skin) is damaged, the body produces new collagen fibers to mend the damage and close the skin back up. This area of healing will look a bit different than the original surrounding skin, thus resulting in an obvious scar.
Scars do begin to naturally heal over a few years and even lose some discoloration, but they never completely disappear. Depending on the size, color, and location of the scar, most people want to erase the obvious appearance of the healing skin as fast as possible. Luckily, there are many over-the-counter solutions to hide these scars faster than waiting years for them to slowly start to fade.
