Singorama was created by Australian singer songwriter Melanie Alexander. She was in a pop group called "Girlfriend" . The purpose of her course is to help people use their vocal cords correctly and discover the incredible voice that they already possess. A 26-minute introduction video to Singorama is available on the website if you have that much extra time to get an overview of the program. If not, keep on reading!
Boring website
Although the information presented by Singorama is intriguing and persuasive, it is too much. You'll probably be bored scrolling through the website that is smothered with text and hope to quickly get to the point like we did. This online singing course surely won't sell because of the company's marketing tactics.
15 minutes per day for improvement
Singorama promises to deliver ground-breaking techniques that will change your singing abilities in just one week. If you spend 15 minutes a day (or 10 minutes depending on what part of the website you read) with their vocal calisthenics, within a week, Alexander says your voice will transform more than you ever thought was possible. You'll easily hit high notes, sing clearly, and expand your vocal range. With Singorama you'll learn to strengthen your vocal cords and agility.
Unclear program contents
Singorama includes 28 vocal training modules, ebooks, and worksheets to teach you to improve your vocal skills. You'll learn optimal breathing and posture, harmonizing, vocal agility, tonality conditioning, and other specific techniques that go a little over our heads. The contents of the program are not laid out clearly and the descriptions of the lessons aren't simple.
Affordable one-time cost
After what felt like 100 years of scrolling and a lot of frustration, we finally started to find information about the price. There was way too much sales pitching and gimmicks like "This course is valued at $297... BUT you won't be paying that today!" *scroll, scroll, scroll* read information about bonus material, *scroll, scroll, scroll.* Aha! Finally we find that they are offering us a "limited time" screaming deal of $67 for the course, an app download with over 120 songs, mini recording studio software, and a guide on how to learn to read music. Apparently the retail value of Singorama is $538, but they are giving it away for $67.
60-day money back guarantee
Unfortunately, there aren't any reviews on the Singorama app and not many people have commented on their experience using Singorama anywhere else either. They also don't have a rating from the Better Business Bureau. The content on the app looks good, but we wish there was clearer information on what the software course is like, what it includes, how lessons are taught, and what devices it can be downloaded to. Luckily there is a 60-day money back guarantee with Singorama that allows you to try the system without any risk. If you don't like it, you can email customer service and get a full refund.
Bad customer experience
Overall, we were annoyed with the experience Singorama offers to customers. Even though they may have a good product, they make it very difficult to get transparent information about it. They don't have a "contact us" page, policies, terms of service or FAQs. In short, their website is terrible. In our opinion, there are much better options out there for singing lessons that are offered by easy-to-work-with companies and we suggest turning there first.
One of the best musical talents you can have is the ability to sing. Everyone can do it (in theory!) and it requires no other instrument besides your own vocal cords. You can sing in the car, sing in a choir, to your children, in the shower, at a concert, or around a campfire with friends and family. However, not everyone feels confident in their ability to carry a tune, so it's no surprise that people want to spend extra time and money improving their vocal skills.
Maybe you're young and have a newfound interest in learning to sing or you're older and wish you had practiced earlier on. Either way, there are fantastic online resources that are bound to unlock a wealth of tools to help you increase your ability to sing beautifully and confidently regardless of the level you're at. This is a great option for people who don't have the time to go to in-person lessons or don't feel comfortable singing in front of someone else yet.
From the comfort of your home and on your own schedule, you can take advantage of one of the many programs that teach you how to improve your pitch, breathing, voice, and even to read music. This is also a much more affordable option, since in-person voice lessons run hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over time. With an online program you can watch training videos, download instructions, and get practice tools to sharpen your singing skills for your own enjoyment and for others.
