Skin tags appear as a small flap of tissue hanging off of your skin by a connective stalk. They are a common skin growth with over 3 million reported cases in the US each year - and probably many more that go unreported. The jury is still out as to why they grow and how to prevent them, but a possible explanation is friction, since they usually appear in areas where skin rubs against itself. You'll usually find skin tags on the neck, upper chest, underarms, eyelids, and groin.
Skin tags are usually harmless and painless, unless they are rubbing against clothing that causes irritation. The main reason most people want to remove their skin tags is due to cosmetic concerns. Depending on how many skin tags you have and where they appear, you might want to safely remove them to restore the appearance of smooth skin.

Skin Tag Control is made by Forces of Nature, a homeopathic health supplement company established in 1999. Their products fall under a range of categories like first aid, immunity, allergies, pain care, skin health, sleep, stress, and more. The safety, pricing, and guarantees of the products made by Forces of Nature are unrivaled, and we've given Skin Tag Control our top rating for skin tag products.
Short, Safe Ingredient List
Like the other products sold by Forces of Nature, Skin Tag Control is USDA organic and an FDA-registered formula. It's safe to use on both your face and body since there are no harsh chemicals. There are only five ingredients in Skin Tag Control: thuja occidentalis (northern white cedar), calendula officinalis (marigold), lavandin oil, sesame oil, and tea tree oil. These ingredients work together to nourish the skin while effectively eliminating skin tags and preventing regrowth.
Extremely Competitive Pricing
You can choose to purchase Skin Tag Control in a 4 ml size with a rollerball for application or an 11 ml bottle with an open top. The 4 ml size costs $12.95 and the 11 ml bottle is $18.95. It's a no-brainer to get the bigger size with almost 3 times the amount of formula for only $6 more. This is one of the least expensive options for skin tag removal. However, you will have to pay $5 for shipping if you don't spend $45 or more on your order.
If you're using the 4 ml bottle, roll the product directly over your skin three times per day until the skin tag is gone. Same goes for the 11 ml bottle, but customers are instructed to apply it with a cotton swab and dab it onto the skin growth. There are no details given about how fast Skin Tag Control works, so it's hard to know how many bottles you'll need in order to rid yourself of skin tags completely.
Nothing To Lose
The guarantee offered to customers who buy from Forces of Nature blows the competition out of the water. Every product comes with a one-year money-back guarantee. If you don't get the results you hoped for, you can return your used bottles with the receipt and get a full refund. What a deal! You really have nothing to lose by trying out Skin Tag Control.
"Works Like Magic"
Forces of Nature has an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau. Skin Tag Control has over 40 reviews from customers who say that not only does the formula smell amazing, but for some it works in as little as 10 days. Others say their skin tags are gone in 2-3 weeks, but as long as you're consistent with application, Skin Tag Control works like magic. We like that this is 100% homeopathic and safe for all areas of the body. Skin Tag Control has earned our highest rating.
H-Skin Tags is made by Healing Natural Oils, a company rated "A+" by the Better Business Bureau. They started out in 2001 and have continued to add to their long list of natural products for ailments like arthritis, cellulite, fissures, moles, scars, wrinkles, and much more. This is one of the best companies to buy from if you're looking for all-natural products.
Bigger Bottle = Bigger Savings
H-Skin Tags is a liquid formula that comes in two different sizes. An 11 ml bottle (sufficient for 100 applications) is $34.95 and the 33 ml bottle (sufficient for 300 applications) is $69.95. Since Healing Natural Oils gives customers free shipping when they spend $49 or more, you'll save even more by purchasing the 33 ml bottle.
100% Homeopathic Formula
Regardless of where your skin tags are on your body, H-Skin Tags is safe and painless. It works on sensitive areas and won't leave any scarring. The formula is all-natural and includes two active ingredients: calendula officinalis and thuja occidentalis. The inactive ingredients are an essential oils blend of citrus limon peel, melaleuca alternifolia leaf-branch, melissa officinalis blossoms, and thuja occidentalis leaf. Everything is manufactured to the specifications in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States and monographed for use as homeopathic ingredients.
Stay Consistent For Good Results
You'll start to see results within as little as one or two weeks with H-Skin Tags. However, as with all products, results vary from person to person. Healing Natural Oils encourages their customers to be patient with stubborn skin tags and continue to apply the oil consistently. One missed applicaton could set back the process 2-4 days. H-Skin Tags should be applied topically directly to skin tags with just a few drops per application three times daily.
100% Refunds, No Questions Asked
Healing Natural Oils stands behind their products with a 100% happiness guarantee. If you're unhappy with H-Skin Tags or any other product, you can return the bottles for a full refund within 90 days of purchase, no questions asked.
Positive Customer Feedback
H-Skin Tags is not recommended for use on anyone 4 years or younger or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Outside of this, it is a very safe product that comes highly recommended by customers. There are over 200 reviews for H-Skin Tags on Healing Natural Oils' website with a 4.5 out of 5-star rating. Customers report great success after using the product and some even said it came recommended by their doctor. For those who didn't see the results they hoped for, they said customer service was great to work with and honored their guarantee without hesitation. If you're looking for a reputable, all-natural option to remove your skin tags, H-Skin Tags is a good way to go.
The Deluxe Skin Tag and Mole Remover pen is made by GraceAllure. They sell a variety of skincare tools and formulas to fight aging and unwanted skin conditions. Some of their products include a blackhead removal tool, a skin tightening cavitation device, a facial spa steamer, hair oil, LED phototherapy skin rejuvenation mask, and more. The skin tag removal pen is one of their most popular products that can also be used for mole removal.
Easy Alternative To Doctor Visits
The skin tag pen uses nano-needle technology to burn off skin tags and moles with minimal pain and fast results. It is an easier alternative than going to a doctor to receive a similar product. There are nine adjustable strength levels and six levels of intensity depending on the size of your skin tags or moles.
The Deluxe Skin Tag and Mole Remover pen comes in gold, silver, or pink. In your package you'll receive the pen, a USB charger, a big needle, a set of small needles, and the manual that explains how and when to use the different power levels. The pen can last up to five hours on a single charge.
There are seven basic steps to follow when using the skin tag removal pen. First, it needs to be charged. Once it is full of power, you'll insert a needle (the size will depend on what type of mole or skin tag you are removing), then hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the pen, choose the proper power level, double click the power button to turn on the spotlight, then touch the pen to the affected area to begin removing the skin tag. Once you're satisfied, just hold the power button again for three seconds to power the tool off. It may take a couple of applications until you have completely removed the mole or skin tag and are satisfied with the results.
Unlimited Skin Tag Removal
For just $39.99, you basically have the ability to remove as many skin tags and moles as you want to. You don't have to worry about running out of a formula or having it expire. The skin tag pen is ready to work whenever you need it. If you buy 2 or more items from GraceAllure, you'll get 10% off your entire order. As an added bonus, shipping is always free.
Weak Return Policy
GraceAllure's 30-day return policy only applies if you receive the wrong item or if your skin tag pen (or any other product) is damaged or defective upon arrival. Unfortunately, if you decide not to use the skin tag removal pen or it doesn't work for you, you're out of luck when it comes to sending it back.
GraceAllure is unrated by the Better Business Bureau and their "About Us" page isn't as informative as we like to see, but our confidence in this product is boosted by all of the good customer reviews. There are over 170 customers who have left feedback on the skin tag pen and 98% of them rated it 4 stars and above. Most people say you have to get used to the shock of the pen, but it is easy to operate and works incredibly well. If you want a more hands-on approach to skin tag removal, this is a fantastic option.
Tag Away Skin Tag Remover is an "As Seen on TV" product advertised as an all-natural, pain-free way to remove skin tags. Unfortunately, there is no company background or customer testimonials on the effectiveness of the product. Tag Away does contain homeopathic ingredients found in many other skin tag removal serums, so we trust it is overall safe to use. It just isn't backed by much customer feedback or a Better Business Bureau rating, which keeps the product lower in our rankings as well.
Tag Away comes in a 10 ml bottle. There is a buy-one-get-one deal where you pay $19.99 for the first bottle and get the second bottle for free. You will need to pay $9.95 for shipping though, so you'll end up spending about $30. You can also choose to buy two, get two free and pay $29.99 plus $9.95 for shipping and receive four bottles for $39.94. This is definitely the best value.
Works In 3-8 Weeks
Users should apply Tag Away three times daily to affected areas with a cotton swab. It is not to be used on children and nursing or pregnant women should only use the formula under the direction of a doctor. Skin tags should begin to dry up and fall off in 3-8 weeks with consistent use.
The ingredients in Tag Away are thuja occidentalis, cedar leaf oil, melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil, and ricinus communis seed oil. There are no harmful chemicals in the formula and it is completely homeopathic. A disclaimer on the website says, "Tag Away's claims are based only on theories of homeopathy from the 1700's that are not accepted by modern medical experts. They are not based on scientific evidence." This statement could apply to a lot of all-natural formulas on the market for skincare and it doesn't mean they don't work, but we do wish there were at least some customer reviews about Tag Away to get an idea of how others' experiences were with using it.
Vague Return Policy
The money-back guarantee on Tag Away allows customers to get a refund for the product (minus shipping) within 30 days of purchase if they send it back. It's unclear whether you can return used bottles of Tag Away or if you can only return new, unused bottles to get your money back. Before shipping anything back, we recommend contacting their customer service team to check on whether you'll get a refund based on your particular case.
There Are Better Options Out There
There isn't much to Tag Away. It's a simple formula with only four main ingredients, all of which are homeopathic. This product probably works similarly to some higher-rated skin tag removal serums, but it isn't nearly as popular. We also can't guarantee that you'll have a smooth time receiving the product or returning it if you need to - there is almost no information on the manufacturer of Tag Away and their return policy is lacking important details. This isn't your worst choice for skin tag removal, but you're better off buying a higher-rated formula.
Skincell Pro is a liquid formula designed to remove moles, warts, and skin tags. It is made by the company Skincell, but there's very little information available about the business. The distributor, Superior Quality Products, was incorporated in 2018, but also has no information about themselves listed online.
Not As Effective As Advertised
The serum is meant to be a fast-acting solution that triggers white blood cells to remove blemishes and heal the surrounding skin. However, customers don't seem to agree that Skincell Pro is as effective as advertised.
One of the first things we noticed about Skincell Pro was the spelling errors on the product label. Things like, "the product starts to wrok immedeately" and other errors tell us that this product is either made outside of the United States, or no one took the time to make sure that the little bit of information printed on the label was correct. In our opinion this is unprofessional and makes us leery of the product.
Skincell Pro comes in a 1 fl oz bottle (30 ml) for $23.95. It's unclear how many bottles you should need to get rid of your skin tags, but customers are instructed to apply the serum 3-4 times per day. The process varies from person to person and depends on the size of skin tags as well. Supposedly customers should be able to see noticeable results from using Skincell Pro in as little as 8 hours, although it takes up to a few weeks for skin tags, warts, and moles to disappear completely.
No Safety Guidelines
The ingredients listed for Skincell Pro are sanguinaria canadensis (blood root), zinc muriatcum (zinc chloride), distilled water, and glycerin. They warn that you shouldn't use the product if you're allergic to any of the ingredients (a no-brainer), but when it comes to children or pregnant or nursing women, nothing is mentioned about the safety of Skincell Pro.
Skincell does not have a Better Business Bureau page or rating. On top of this, their serum gets poor customer ratings. Some of the most recent feedback on the product includes people complaining that they saw no results after weeks of using Skincell Pro on their skin tags, you can't return the product, and it was expensive compared to other highly effective options available online. Most people warn other potential customers not to waste their money on Skincell Pro, and we would have to agree.
Lucent Skin by Revitol is the name of many skin care products for hair removal, anti-aging, cellulite, rosacea, scar removal, stretch marks, and more. Lucent Skin Tag Remover is formulated to eliminate skin tags while nourishing the surrounding skin without the use of harsh chemicals.
Confusing Company Background
The "About Us" page of Lucent Skin's website only refers to the company as "the company", so it is unclear if Revitol is the manufacturer of Lucent Skin, or if Lucent Skin is their own company. However, the "Terms and Conditions" explains an agreement between customers and the company, Betsala Group. They are unrated by the Better Business Bureau and don't have any company information posted online. All this being said, we don't have confidence in the reputation of Lucent Skin.
No Dosage Information
When compared to other skin tag products, Lucent Skin is one of the most expensive alternatives. For just one bottle, the cost is $59.95. If you buy two bottles, you get an additional one for free for $119.90, and your third option is to buy three bottles, get three free for $179.85. What's frustrating is that the amount of formula in each bottle is not disclosed and it's unclear how much you need for your skin tags. Essentially, customers aren't told how much Lucent Skin they would need to buy.
Ingredients Are Unknown To Customers
There are only two ingredients mentioned in Lucent Skin: thuja occidentalis and pure alternifolia. It's unlikely that these are the only two ingredients, so we are disappointed that the rest of them aren't listed. This usually leads us to think that the product has some ingredients that might not make this product ideal or safe for everybody and is probably not all-natural.
Not-so-generous Return Policy
The mysterious company that makes Lucent Skin offers a 90-day return policy for all items. However, there are quite a few details that make it barely even worth trying to get a refund when it comes down to it. For starters, each item returned comes with a $10 restocking fee. The products have to be returned new and unused, so you can't plan on getting a refund if you try Lucent Skin out and find that it doesn't work. You only qualify for a refund if everything is returned that was purchased on your order. A link is provided to contact customer support and get an RMA# to initiate a return. Basically, if you buy Lucent Skin, it might not be worth your time to try and send it back if you change your mind.
There are four customer reviews listed for Lucent Skin, but none of them have dates and all of them happen to be 5-star reviews, so we are leery of their validity. We are really stretching to find reasons to trust Lucent Skin, but we seem to hit a wall at every corner. The expensive pricing, lame return policy, vague company background, and lack of details on the product like an ingredient list puts Lucent Skin by Revitol near the bottom of the stack for skin tag products.
Hempvana Endtag is made by a company called TeleBrand. The Endtag website has little to no information about company history or policies. The website for Endtag is just one page with a broad overview of the product, but it lacks specific details customers would want to know before making a purchase. Hempvana Endtag has earned our lowest rating for skin tag options.
No Dosage Information
Endtag is a liquid formula that comes in a 15 ml bottle. It is meant for all skin types and comes with an applicator brush to apply directly to skin tags. It is unclear how often to apply Endtag or how fast it starts working. In addition, customers can't be sure how many bottles they might need since there is no dosage information.
Lacking Ingredient List
There is a long list of issues and concerns that we have with Endtag. One of them is the fact that there is no ingredient list for the product. The bottle highlights that there is hemp seed oil, turmeric, and aloe to help moisturize and smooth skin. There has to be more to Endtag than this, but unfortunately no other ingredients are disclosed.
Weak "special Offer"
The pricing for Endtag is on the higher end of skin tag products. It's odd because Hempvana Endtag is advertised as $29.99 because there is a "special offer" for two bottles. However, in fine print you'll see that you have to buy both bottles, but there is a separate $14.99 fee for the second bottle, then $9.99 for shipping on top of that. In the end, you'll pay $54.97 for two small bottles of Endtag, which isn't a good deal when compared with the pricing of competing products.
Hempvana has a 100% satisfaction guarantee in place, meaning that if you're unhappy with your merchandise for any reason, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. The return policy mentions TeleBrands, a company that sells "As Seen on TV" products, but Endtag is not listed as one of them on their website. However, an FDA report says that Hempvana Endtag is "manufactured, distributed, or labeled by TeleBrands." TeleBrands only has a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and very poor customer reviews, mostly noting that they did not receive products they ordered.
Don't Waste Your Time
There are three customer "testimonials" on Hempvana Endtag's website, but they only show a picture and quote, no names. We aren't convinced that these aren't fabricated testimonials because they are clearly filtered and don't seem to actually belong to anyone. We don't have any reason to trust that Endtag is a safe formula for everyone or assume that it actually works. We highly recommend looking elsewhere for a product to handle your skin tags.
There are quite a few options out there for skin tag removal, but some are better and safer than others. Some suggest cutting them off yourself (cringe), wrapping banana peels around the area, or applying crushed garlic to the skin tags. Aside from these weird, non-scientific suggestions, going to a doctor to freeze or burn the skin tag off is always on the table. However, this isn't the most affordable option for most people and it might not be necessary. Luckily, there are inexpensive, safe, natural solutions for skin tag removal that you can buy online.
