The Better Business Bureau gives them an "A+" rating and customers have great things to say about quality and experience. The only downside for some people will be that the steaks here are grain-fed and cater to taste over health benefits. Heartstone Farm is a company dedicated to raising well-loved cattle in a stress-free environment on a grass diet without antibiotics. They have an exciting variety of beef, poultry, and pork. They have a wide selection of steaks, burgers, poultry, pork, seafood, and other meats that you can mix and match in one-time purchases or subscription boxes. There is a solid selection of steaks to choose from, all of which appear to be highly rated by customers on the website. However, we are a bit skeptical of how legitimate these reviews are, since third-party sites host a variety of complaints from people. Customers have been disappointed with the flavor of meats here, customer service, issues with delivery, and more. We'd like to see some more consistency from Omaha Steaks and better customer reviews before giving them a higher rating.
Rastelli's started out as a family business and has grown over the years to include a good variety of steak, seafood, poultry, beef, and pork. You don't buy one-off products here, but rather commit to buying a full box of either a selection curated by the company or one that you can mix and match yourself. Pricing is much better if you opt to subscribe to recurrent deliveries, but we are hesitant to do this the first time around since there are very few customer reviews here. We'd like to see more feedback from buyers since there isn't much about this company online. Overall, the selection looks impressive and the steaks are grass-fed and organic, but we aren't entirely confident that Rastelli's delivery and customer service is top notch.

Steaks and Game has over 150 selections for steak with a variety of cuts, marbling grades, weights, and quantities. They have an interesting assortment of gourmet and exotic meats that most people have probably never tasted before. This could be a fun place to order something new alongside your safe steak choices. Steaks and Game doesn't give much detail about where they source their meats or the origin of the company, which we'd like to see. They also don't have a rating from the Better Business Bureau or very many from customers either. The selection here is one of the best, but shipping is expensive, which gives this option a lot of pros and cons. Take a look at Steaks and Game and test out something new, but also be sure to visit the top-rated steak companies we've reviewed.
Crowd Cow has a wide variety of meats and seafood options for customers to mix and match to create their own boxes or choose one of their curated boxes instead. You can do one-time purchases here or choose to have steaks delivered every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. There are 27 varieties of steak, all grass-fed and pasture-raised. You won't get USDA-graded steaks here though. There are mostly positive reviews from customers on individual products at Crowd Cow, but the Better Business Bureau gives them an "F" rating and their third-party reviews are nothing to be proud of. Overall, we have some mixed feelings about this company, making it so that Crowd Cow is definitely not one of the first places we'd go for quality steaks.

FarmFoods began with a desire to provide transparency to customers about how their food came to be, from how the cattle was fed and treated to how the meat is prepared. Unfortunately, FarmFoods has a tiny selection of steak cuts and most of them were sold out when we were shopping. Prices are reasonable and competitive, but if you aren't spending at least $125 here, then you'll spend quite a bit on shipping. Customer reviews from those who bought from FarmFoods online are concerning, so we definitely wouldn't pick FarmFoods as a top place to buy steaks.

Sirloin Cuts
The sirloin cuts are found on the top of the cow toward the rear. They sit between the loin, round, and flank cuts. Brisket Cuts

Both cuts, however, should be smoked over low heat or baked in the oven at a very low temperature. It generally takes several hours to properly cook these cuts of meat. Shank Cuts
Shank cuts are pulled from the cow's front legs between the knee and the shoulder. They also come from the rear legs of the cow. This is often a tough section of meat because it is derived from connective tissue. A shank steak is the primary cut pulled from this area of the cow. Plate Cuts

Round Cuts
While chuck cuts provide the largest portion of meat from a cow, round cuts yield the second largest portion.
