US Wellness Meats has everything we are looking for in a steak company. Their cattle are all grass-fed and free of growth hormones and antibiotics. They have an impressive selection of steaks, all of which are beautifully photographed and come with detailed product descriptions. US Wellness Meats tells customers where each cut comes from, the nutrition information, and provides hundreds of unfiltered customer reviews. The company has an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau and buyers have phenomenal things to say about this incredible service. They've earned our highest rating for steak companies.

Chicago Steak Company

Chicago Steak Company specializes in gourmet steaks, among other high quality foods like seafood, ham, roast, poultry, and brats. There are 69 products to choose from when you're buying steaks here, so you could stick with an individual cut or go big with an assortment or subscription. Chicago Steak Company has reasonable prices and ships orders for free if your total is over $179. The Better Business Bureau gives them an "A+” rating and customers have great things to say about quality and experience. The only downside for some people will be that the steaks here are grain-fed and cater to taste over health benefits. Otherwise, Chicago Steak Company is a fan favorite and a great choice for online steak purchases.

Snake River Farms sells Prime, Choice, and Wagyu steaks that are highly rated by customers. Here you simply browse their wide selection of steak cuts and other meats and add anything to your cart that strikes your fancy, to fill your cart and refrigerator whenever you're ready for a steak restock. You'll be able to choose the grade and size of the steak cut you want and have it delivered to you within just 1-3 days. Snake River Farms earns an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau and one of our top spots among steak companies.

Good Chop

Good Chop specializes in providing meat subscriptions for families of every size. You can customize your box by choosing between different cuts of USDA-certified organic beef, poultry, pork, and seafood. Subscriptions are delivered every 4 weeks and you can switch out your choices monthly so that you always have something new to try. Good Chop makes it easy to shop online for high quality meats and they are highly rated by customers and the Better Business Bureau (A+). This is a great choice if you want steaks alongside a variety of other meats, but if you're looking for a big range of steak cuts alone, this won't likely provide as many choices as the highest-rated steak companies we've reviewed.

Heartstone Farm

Heartstone Farm is a company dedicated to raising well-loved cattle in a stress-free environment on a grass diet without antibiotics. They have an exciting variety of beef, poultry, and pork. You can purchase individual products here or subscribe to monthly deliveries of boxes you can customize. You can read unfiltered customer reviews on the different cuts of steak, all of which are very positive. Heartstone Farm also receives an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a solid base of extremely satisfied customers. Unfortunately, they only deliver to northeastern states, so the number of people who can obtain steaks here is very limited. This is the main reason Heartstone Farms hasn't earned one of our top ratings because otherwise this is a fantastic company for buying steaks online.

Omaha Steaks

Omaha Steaks has made a name for themselves over the years and has been family owned for five generations. They have a wide selection of steaks, burgers, poultry, pork, seafood, and other meats that you can mix and match in one-time purchases or subscription boxes. There is a solid selection of steaks to choose from, all of which appear to be highly rated by customers on the website. However, we are a bit skeptical of how legitimate these reviews are, since third-party sites host a variety of complaints from people. Customers have been disappointed with the flavor of meats here, customer service, issues with delivery, and more. We'd like to see some more consistency from Omaha Steaks and better customer reviews before giving them a higher rating.

Rastellis

Rastelli's started out as a family business and has grown over the years to include a good variety of steak, seafood, poultry, beef, and pork. You don't buy one-off products here, but rather commit to buying a full box of either a selection curated by the company or one that you can mix and match yourself. Pricing is much better if you opt to subscribe to recurrent deliveries, but we are hesitant to do this the first time around since there are very few customer reviews here. We'd like to see more feedback from buyers since there isn't much about this company online. Overall, the selection looks impressive and the steaks are grass-fed and organic, but we aren't entirely confident that Rastelli's delivery and customer service is top notch.

Steaks & Game

Steaks and Game has over 150 selections for steak with a variety of cuts, marbling grades, weights, and quantities. They have an interesting assortment of gourmet and exotic meats that most people have probably never tasted before. This could be a fun place to order something new alongside your safe steak choices. Steaks and Game doesn't give much detail about where they source their meats or the origin of the company, which we'd like to see. They also don't have a rating from the Better Business Bureau or very many from customers either. The selection here is one of the best, but shipping is expensive, which gives this option a lot of pros and cons. Take a look at Steaks and Game and test out something new, but also be sure to visit the top-rated steak companies we've reviewed.

Crowd Cow

Crowd Cow has a wide variety of meats and seafood options for customers to mix and match to create their own boxes or choose one of their curated boxes instead. You can do one-time purchases here or choose to have steaks delivered every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. There are 27 varieties of steak, all grass-fed and pasture-raised. You won't get USDA-graded steaks here though. There are mostly positive reviews from customers on individual products at Crowd Cow, but the Better Business Bureau gives them an "F” rating and their third-party reviews are nothing to be proud of. Overall, we have some mixed feelings about this company, making it so that Crowd Cow is definitely not one of the first places we'd go for quality steaks.

Farm Foods

FarmFoods began with a desire to provide transparency to customers about how their food came to be, from how the cattle was fed and treated to how the meat is prepared. Unfortunately, FarmFoods has a tiny selection of steak cuts and most of them were sold out when we were shopping. Prices are reasonable and competitive, but if you aren't spending at least $125 here, then you'll spend quite a bit on shipping. Customer reviews from those who bought from FarmFoods online are concerning, so we definitely wouldn't pick FarmFoods as a top place to buy steaks.
