Swim Outlet is a dream come true for competition swimmers since they have thousands of swimsuits with unfiltered customer reviews, mostly coming in under $50. They offer free shipping on orders over $49 and free returns. In addition to their performance swimwear, Swim Outlet does have some fashion bikinis and tankinis as well. Customers have nothing but great things to say about this online store and the Better Business Bureau gives them an "A" rating. You can't go wrong with this high quality retailer, so they've earned one of our highest ratings among swimsuit stores.

Macy's is the place to go if you want a huge selection of swimsuits for reasonable prices. They have thousands of choices and you can outfit the whole family when you shop here. In addition to frequent sales, Macy's offers 25% off of one purchase if you sign up for their email list. They have inclusive sizing, a 30-day return policy, free shipping with purchases over $49, and an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau. We like the range of styles here, so it's definitely a great place to look for a swimsuit.

Cupshe is a Chinese company with clothing designed in Los Angeles and a warehouse in New Jersey that offers incredibly low prices on swimwear and other apparel. At Cupshe you'll find every type of swimsuit for $42.99 or less with free shipping if you spend over $59. There are over 1,000 choices and all of them have great product descriptions and often come with customer reviews that speak highly of the color, sizing, and materials. Although the Better Business Bureau has found fault with Cupshe, customer reviews sing their praises and people are quite thrilled with what they get from this site. Overall it's a fun place to shop and you really aren't risking much since swimsuits are so cheap, so we've Cupshe them a thumbs up.

Aerie, a sister store of the well-known apparel brand, American Eagle, is known for their bras, underwear, activewear, and swimsuits. Aerie has over 200 swimsuits that include bikinis and one-pieces. Their styles are simple and comfortable rather than flashy and unique. You won't spend much here since most swimsuits are less than $50 and you'll get 10% off if you sign up for emails, or even more if they're running a big sale. Aerie has an unlimited return window, which is great, but we aren't the biggest fans of their website and wish they had a few more details about sizing on their swimsuits. Since this is a very basic swimsuit store, they've earned a just-above-average rating from us.

J. Crew is an all-American, classy, upscale clothing retailer that's been around since the 1980s. They're well-liked and have a selection of high-quality, simple, timeless swimsuits. Their pricing for a swimsuit could be nearly $100 when you buy a top and bottom together unless you shop during a big sale. J. Crew offers free shipping during some of their sales and up to 50% off apparel, so you don't always have to pay full price here. J. Crew earns an "A+" rating from the BBB, but they've had a rough few years after declaring bankruptcy and being reorganized in 2020, so there are some customer complaints that need to be resolved. Overall, J. Crew is a reputable store and has a decent selection of swimwear, so we wouldn't turn a blind eye to what they have to offer.

Kohl's is a massive retailer with thousands of results for swimsuits and other swim-related gear. Their collection features tons of different brands and styles, all of which feel a bit random. Their website is user-friendly and organized enough, but the selection is a bit overwhelming and we wouldn't expect to find a swimsuit here that will last years or be one of your favorites for long. If you need something inexpensive and last-minute, Kohl's has tons of options and a generous 180-day return policy if you change your mind later. They're a reliable place to shop for clothing, but there are higher-rated stores with a better looking swimsuit selection you may want to shop first.

Although they're primarily known for their huge selection of shoes, Zappos has a wide selection of all types of clothing, accessories, and swimsuits. You'll find thousands of options here for men, women, and children, for mostly under $100. Zappos ships all orders for free and allows a generous 365 days for people to make returns or exchanges. The company has an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, but some customers complain of slow shipping and poor customer service. Overall, Zappos is a solid place to look for swimsuits, but they aren't our favorite as far as their website or styles.

Beachsissi gets us excited about summer with their beautiful designs and fun patterns. With almost 1,000 swimsuits on their website, it would be impossible not to find one that you love. Unfortunately, there are a few things that make us leery of this company. All of their pricing is below $39.99 and we can't imagine that with how detailed some of these swimsuits are that they would be high quality. Their customer reviews on their site don't seem to be unfiltered, which is concerning. On top of this, the Better Business Bureau has reported a series of complaints about people not receiving refunds after sending back their swimsuits. Other third-party sites host a series of complaints from people about Beachsissi's poor quality and lack of response about refund inquiries. These concerns have led us to give Beachsissi a low rating.
