They've sold tickets to over 1 million events and over 100 million tickets. Some of their partners include ESPN, NBA, the San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee sports, and RollingStone. Vivid Seats features a helpful blog about major upcoming shows, how to watch, and their schedules.
Easier to find major events
When shopping for tickets through Vivid Seats, we noticed that they make it easiest to find large-scale events. Major artists like John Mayer, Journey, and the Band CAMINO were featured, even though they weren't the earliest performances. It's not necessarily hard to find local games and shows through Vivid Seats, but it's a little less intuitive than it is through other ticket brokers. Once we found a list of events near us, we could sort them by date, category, type, time, and venue.
Find out service fees at checkout
We found a good range of ticket prices and seating options through Vivid Seats. They are transparent about costs, ticket delivery method, and the health and safety protocols customers need to be aware of at the venue they'll be attending. After providing your payment type and billing address, you're shown the service fee on the ticket. We noticed they're mostly between 20% and 25% here. There are also delivery fees based on the method being used.

The 100% buyer guarantee from Vivid Seats ensures customers that they'll receive full customer care and their transactions are safe. Tickets will be delivered before the event takes place and all tickets are valid and authentic. The "Contact Us” page on Vivid Seats' website doesn't provide a phone number, which we don't love. Rather, you can select from a dropdown list of issues like ticket purchasing, questions about when you'll receive tickets, problems with an order, and more. If you need immediate assistance with an event happening in the next 24 hours, there is a separate button you can select for more urgent help. Here you can chat with an agent that's available from 8 am - 12 am CST.
Working through issues
The Better Business Bureau gives Vivid Seats a "B” rating, which isn't terrible. However, the BBB also posted an alert about a pattern of complaints that have been brought against the company. They describe issues regarding their buyer guarantee, accessing tickets, and customer service. Vivid Seats responded to these complaints by saying they have refunded millions of dollars of tickets to customers for canceled events and offered the option for a 110% credit to give them more bang for their buck.

Vivid Seats has thousands of reviews from customers, which shows that they're a widely used platform. But we wish these reviews were higher. We trust that this company is working hard to resolve many of the issues that they've been dealing with over the last couple of years, but they still have a lot of work to do. They've recently had a lot of good reviews from people saying that customer service was attentive and worked hard to get them good deals, take care of concerns, and make sure their seats were exactly what they wanted. Their reviews are still average, but this company is on the up and up. We expect to see this ticket broker move up in our rankings in the future if that trend continues.
