The website is easy to use, and there's a helpful FAQ that can teach you all you need to know about countries' entry requirements and travel visas in general. However, despite having more than 30,000 five-star ratings, this service sometimes leaves travelers hanging with applications in process, and the refund policy gets confusing depending on the type of visa you're seeking. Although iVisa is still a trustworthy option for getting travel visas in general, it's no longer our highest-ranked service and we suggest looking at rival providers first.

TDS

TDS (Travel Document Systems) has been in the business for over 30 years, providing expedited visa and passport processing for corporate and individual travelers from multiple office locations across the US. However, our evaluation of their performance with popular visa destinations like Australia, Brazil, and China showed some mixed results, especially since their website defaults to certain visa types that may not be suitable for every traveler. They also have some additional services available at extra costs, ones that you might mistakenly think are part of your initial service fee. While TDS has received positive feedback in the past, a lack of recent reviews along with a low BBB rating raise some concerns. It's worth considering them as an option, but exploring other top-ranked visa service providers first is advisable.

Rush My Travel Visa

Rush My Travel Visa would make you think that they can get you the travel documents you need quicker than average, for just about any destination. And, for some travelers, that turns out to be true: hundreds of people rate this service with a perfect five stars. But, with numerous complaints filed with the BBB and inaccurate/out-of-date information for specific countries' visa requirements, Rush My Travel Visa doesn't get our endorsement as a trustworthy option.

While their customer ratings are positive, Handy Visas is unable to assist US citizens with visa applications in some popular destination countries. And, their customer support is limited to email with a 72-hour response time, which may not be suitable for urgent situations. Despite offering a stellar guarantee/refund policy and positive reviews, Handy Visas ranks below average, especially for US passport holders.

Travisa

Let's cut to the chase: Travisa is not our favorite travel visa service, largely because of its lack of transparency in pricing. Although we appreciate the up-to-date website that clearly and accurately spells out visa requirements around the world, that's not enough to make up for the long string of complaints from clients who weren't told upfront what their application process would cost them. You could easily be charged double what you initially expected when you submitted your paperwork. While Travisa may be fine when used by corporate clients, we don't recommend this service for individual travelers needing a visa.

Visagov

Madrid-based Visagov claims that they want to make it easy to travel abroad, anywhere in the world. That's almost laughable, given how many countries are not included on their list of destinations, and how much of a pain it is to complete the process for the places that are included. Plus, with an email address as the sole means of contacting them, Visagov doesn't exactly seem committed to right-on-time customer service. There's no need to waste your time here.
