Mosaic is one of the strongest vegan meal delivery services you can order, even though the brand isn't exclusively vegan. With 60+ clearly labeled vegan meals across bowls, soups, smoothies, oat bowls, and family-style dishes, it makes sticking to a fully plant-based diet easy. The food is filling, globally-inspired, freezer-friendly, and transparently priced, with strong customer reviews and a risk-free first box. That consistency and depth earn Mosaic an excellent rating and one of the highest scores among vegan meal delivery providers.

Hungryroot makes vegan eating feel flexible instead of restrictive. You get plant-based groceries, fast recipes, and smart personalization that actually listens to your preferences - from tofu vs. tempeh to "please no cilantro." It's not a traditional meal kit and not fully prepared meals either; it's a customizable grocery box that helps you cook easy vegan meals without overthinking your week. Only the fact that you have to enter your payment information before you can preview the available recipe/grocery options keeps Hungryroot from earning our highest rating as a vegan meal delivery service.

Sprinly delivers fully prepared, 100% plant-based meals made with mostly organic ingredients and zero artificial junk - and it ships to all 50 states. The menu is smaller - just six entrees per week, out of a rotating menu of 50 meals - but everything is ready in minutes, clearly labeled, and designed with nutrition in mind. Sprinly comes in as above average compared with rival services: truly committed to 100% vegan meals, but with a limited menu profile.

Trifecta's vegan meal delivery is nutritionally solid and fitness-focused, with strong macros and fresh, fully prepared meals - but the menu is extremely limited. With just six vegan entrees and no breakfasts, this works best for disciplined eaters who care more about protein and structure than variety. It's fine overall, and offers some fitness-forward tools at no cost that you might find useful - but compared to vegan services offering dozens of weekly options, it feels restrictive. That narrow scope is why Trifecta earns a just-average rating for vegan meal delivery.

Purple Carrot offers one of the largest and most flexible vegan menus we've seen, with creative recipes, multiple plan types, and strong sustainability messaging. The variety alone makes it appealing if you want to cook interesting plant-based meals at home. However, widespread customer complaints about billing, deliveries, missing ingredients, and food quality weigh heavily on the overall experience. The ideas are excellent, but inconsistent execution keeps Purple Carrot in the middle of the pack for now.

Factor is great at convenience, but vegan eaters are clearly not the focus. During our review, only three fully vegan meals appeared across a menu of 100+ items, and finding them required clicking into individual dishes with no upfront vegan filter. The meals themselves are decent, but the lack of visibility, flexibility, and weekly variety makes this a frustrating option if you're actually trying to eat vegan on a regular basis. Factor works better for mixed-diet households or occasional plant-based meals than for committed vegans.

bistroMD's vegan meal plan looks promising at first, thanks to a decently varied menu, but the experience falls apart once you factor in taste, flexibility, and reputation. The meals are fully prepared and convenient, but many are very low in calories, off in texture, and arrive frozen with no way to customize. Add in high pricing, a $19.95 shipping fee, limited plan options, and a long track record of delivery and customer service complaints, and bistroMD ends up feeling outdated compared to other vegan meal delivery services. It's not unusable - just hard to recommend when better options exist.

Green Chef's vegan meal kits look appealing on the surface, with organic ingredients and well-designed recipes, but the experience quickly feels limited. The fully vegan dinner menu is very small, making it difficult to rely on the service week after week without repeating meals. Add in an awkward sign-up process, inconsistent ingredient quality, and pricing that doesn't quite match what you get, and Green Chef ends up falling short as a vegan meal delivery option despite its premium branding.

Veestro makes a strong first impression with a large, fully vegan menu, clear nutrition labeling, and a feel-good brand built around plant-based living. Prices range from budget-friendly to premium, and the meal selection itself is one of the more robust vegan lineups we've seen. However, ongoing reputation concerns, limited presence in reviews and on social media, and lingering trust issues following changes in 2022 make it difficult to recommend Veestro despite its surface-level appeal. We give Veestro a lower rating until it comes out of the woodwork a little more.

People come to a vegan diet for all kinds of reasons, and you don't have to check every box to belong here. Some are motivated by health, looking to cut back on saturated fat, manage cholesterol, or add more fiber and whole foods to their day. Others are thinking about sustainability, animal welfare, or the environmental impact of their food choices.
Whether you're all-in on a vegan lifestyle or just trying to eat more plant-based meals without living on hummus and salad kits, there are meal delivery services built to take the stress out of doing the right thing for your body, the planet, or both. You pick your meals, they show up at your door, and suddenly eating vegan feels a lot less like a daily puzzle and a lot more like dinner.
And for plenty of people, it's a life-changing discovery that plant-based food can be genuinely delicious when someone else does the planning and recipe testing for you. Vegan meal delivery meets you wherever you are, whether you're transitioning slowly or you've been reading ingredient labels like a pro for years.
The biggest appeal is convenience without compromise. Instead of juggling specialty grocery items, soaking beans overnight, or Googling "vegan dinner that doesn't taste sad," you get thoughtfully-designed meals that already respect your diet. Depending on the service, that might mean fully prepared meals you just heat and eat, or meal kits with pre-measured ingredients and clear instructions that don't assume you own a pantry full of obscure spices. Either way, you're saving time while still eating food that aligns with your values.
There's also a creativity factor that's easy to underestimate. Good vegan meal delivery companies know that flavor matters, especially if you're feeding a mixed household or trying to stick with plant-based eating long term. You'll see smart uses of legumes, grains, vegetables, and plant-based proteins that go far beyond tofu stir-fries. For many people, these services double as inspiration, helping them discover meals they'd never think to cook on their own.
Of course, not all vegan meal delivery services are created equal. Prices, portion sizes, ingredient quality, and menu variety can vary widely, and what works beautifully for one household might be frustrating for another. That's why comparing your options matters just as much here as it does with any other subscription service. In our evaluation of vegan meal delivery services, we've focused on a few key comparison points to help you find the best fit:
If you're curious about which vegan meal delivery services actually deliver on their promises, that's where Top Consumer Reviews comes in. We dug into menus, pricing, user feedback, and long-term performance so you can compare your options with confidence. Instead of guessing which service might work for you, you can see how they stack up and choose the one that fits your lifestyle, budget, and appetite for plant-based eating. Bon appetit!
