2026 Wholesale Dropshipper Reviews

Which Wholesale Dropshippers Are the Best?  A major hangup people often run into when starting their own business is the need to increase inventory regularly, rotate products, and make seasonal changes to continue growing and meeting customer needs. This results in having more and more inventory to store, higher overhead costs, and having excess product from months or years previous that didn't sell well that you don't know what to do with. It is this cost in particular that can sometimes sink a new retail business and prevent them from being operational for long.

They have a free plan option, but even their upgraded memberships are a one-time cost that are extremely reasonably priced. There are over 50,000 products available to dropship and Dropship.me puts emphasis on product presentation to ensure that their images are top notch and descriptions are clear and appealing. For someone looking to get started in dropshipping, Dropship.me seems like a fantastic place to turn.

On the Dropified website

Dropified has hundreds of thousands of products that you can browse with a free basic membership. Starting at $39/month, you can upgrade your account to one of 3 membership options. They integrate with Bigcommerce, Woocommerce, Shopify, CommerceHQ, and GrooveKart, which is great, but still provides less options than we've seen in some other places. They have useful articles and customer support for those just getting started with their businesses and have many automated features to make it easy to understand and use their platform. Their reviews from users are mostly positive and overall they seem to be a reliable site (minus their weak product descriptions), so they've earned an above-average rating.

On the Modalyst website

Through Modalyst you can sign up for a monthly or yearly plan and integrate with Wix, Shopify, Alibaba, and Bigcommerce. Modalyst has over 500 ecommerce distribution sites where you'll gain access to over 10 million products that could be listed on your own shop. You can order samples of products, which is nice, but all the descriptions of products are nearly nonexistent, so you'll need to spend some time organizing your shop to include all the important details about each item. Reviews have been slightly mixed about Modalyst, but their recent ratings through companies like Wix and Shopify have mostly been high, so this isn't a bad route to go if you are comfortable with the cost.

On the Wholesale 2B website

Wholesale2B has been around for 20 years and has worked out a lot of kinks since then. They have services to build out your website for you if you need it, integrate to 20 ecommerce sites, and connect their users with over 100 suppliers and 1.5 million products. You can make a free account and browse their directory of products and pricing without having to use a credit card, but you'll need to sign up for a monthly or yearly plan for full product details and to start dropshipping. Wholesale2B has positive customer reviews, although they aren't rated by the Better Business Bureau. They're a modern, organized place to automate your dropshipping needs, and there's no big reason not to give them a look (beyond some rather hefty costs, that is).

On the Doba website

Doba has plenty of products you can choose from when you want to get into wholesale dropshipping. Their prices start at $24.99/month and are as much as $299.99/month depending on how big your business is, how many integrations you want access to, and more. You'll need a membership to see pricing or use filter features to sort through their products, but you do get a 14-day free trial when you sign up. Unfortunately, many customers complain that you can't make as much through Doba as you could through another company and their product listings are poor. We aren't convinced that Doba will offer a worthwhile experience, so they've earned one of our lower ratings.

Worldwide Brands provides a directory of over 8,000 dropshippers and wholesaler suppliers that you can contact and work with to add their products to your online store. They have a big emphasis on helping customers find trustworthy suppliers, but customers say that many of the places they find through the directory either aren't responsive, are start-ups, or don't leave a lot of room for profits. People generally are happy with customer service, but don't seem to agree that the one-time payment for directory access from Worldwide Brands is worth it. We're not sold on this company, so they've not earned a high rating from us.

Inventory Source is software that provides a list of over 230 integrated suppliers that you can use for adding products to your website. You can choose an automation plan to manage your dropship supplier's products and orders starting at $99/month. If you want to upgrade even more, you can integrate with US Direct for over 200,000 US products that ship within 3-5 days. The whole idea of Inventory Source seems sleek and convenient, but unfortunately their pricing is high and their customer reviews are low. People mostly complain that their support is terrible: when issues arise with inventory numbers or errors with your account, it's really hard to get anyone to fix them. This isn't a company that is doing a great job of keeping long-term customers, so we haven't given them a great rating.

On the National Dropshippers website

National Dropshippers hosts an outdated platform with blurry photos, random products that are few and far between, no automation tools, and 6 different membership options that offer almost no explanation. They do have a 7-day free trial you could sign up for to see pricing, but even this feels like a waste of time. We can't come up with solid reasons that it would be worth your time or money to pursue National Dropshippers.

If you're wanting to be in charge of your own retail business, dropshipping companies could be your best friend. They make it so you don't have to store your own inventory and they'll take care of all the shipping processes for you. You'll work with the company to select products, add your own price markup, and get set up so they can send out orders once you've obtained a sale on your website. It unlocks a world of convenience and takes a load off of you as a business manager.

With dropshipping, you can expand your product lines regularly without having to carry so much of the overhead cost. You can add new products to your shop within minutes and stop selling items that aren't doing as well. For this reason, if you're starting a new business or running into issues with how your current one operates, trying out a dropshipping method could be the solution for you.

It doesn't take a whole lot to become a reseller of goods through a dropshipper since you don't manage the inventory or need a warehouse to store it all. If your business is small enough, you can run it all on your own. You'll just need to set up a website, create your own brand, purchase product, promote and manage sales, and communicate back and forth with customers whenever needed. It's nice to have some financial knowledge and organization as well, but you really don't have to be an expert in any of these things. Many people run and operate their business alone with the help of a wholesale dropshipping company and are quite successful.

If you have a knack for sales and dream of working for yourself on your own schedule, becoming a dropshipping reseller will appeal to you. If you cater products to your target audience well and take advantage of different social media channels, online ads, email lists, and other means of marketing, you'll have a solid customer base. You may be able to make much more than you are at your current full-time job while not having to answer to anyone else about how you run things.

There are many companies that offer wholesale dropshipping, so how do you select the best one? We've done some deep dive research on 10 of them to help you find the ones that will best meet your company goals. Here are a few major things to consider when weighing your options:

The experts at Top Consumer Reviews have researched the most efficient and reputable wholesale dropshippers available to you. We're confident that you'll find a company that helps you take your business to the next level and offers you the means to achieve financial success!

Wholesale Dropshipper FAQ

What is dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a way of selling goods without having to personally maintain them in inventory. You act as a liaison between customers and products, passing along orders to the supplier(s) who then ship the products directly from their warehouses to your buyers.
Why would I want to start a dropshipping business?
There are lots of benefits to wholesale dropshipping. You don't have to lease a warehouse or storefront, which automatically means your operating costs are lower. It's a less risky option than many other sales models available today.
How do I get started?
The easiest way is to select a wholesale dropshipping partner. These services do most of the legwork to source products for you to sell and generally help you advertise your "inventory" on various marketplaces and platforms online. You'll still need to do some work to spread the word, through social media buzz and targeted ads, if you want to maximize your profits.
Are dropshipping services expensive?
Sometimes. You'll find services that charge a one-time fee of a few hundred dollars, and others that have monthly fees ranging from $30 to almost $400. Typically, the higher the monthly costs, the more advertising and automation features you get. These fees are in addition to your business costs of setting up a website, advertising, and so forth.
Are there any legal requirements for setting up a dropshipping business?
Yes. Once you start to make sales, you'll need to take out a business license according to the requirements where you live. Most payment providers will require proof of those credentials before passing along your profits.
What if a customer wants to return a product?
That is one of the trickier aspects of running a dropshipping business. Your customers see you as the business, and so they'll expect you to handle refunds or replacements. Every supplier has different terms for returns - which means you could be out of pocket on the refund until the supplier fixes the situation on their side. Some dropshipping experts recommend that you order product samples for yourself, to decide what to carry in your store and make sure that it's quality merchandise.
Are dropshipping services trustworthy?
In all frankness, there are some dropshippers that are 100% above-board, and many others that are little more than a thinly-veiled scam. Do your due diligence before committing to a dropshipper: find the service's rating with the Better Business Bureau, see what other clients have said about using the platform, and determine how long the company has been in operation. There are trustworthy dropshippers out there, but choose carefully.
What if I'm not happy with the dropshipping service?
Most dropshippers have a free trial period, so you can see how well the service works for you. You could have as long as 60 days to request a refund, depending on the terms of the dropshipper's satisfaction guarantee. Again, it's important to check the reputation of the service you're considering - because all of the guarantees in the world only count if the company actually honors it (and there are some that don't do a very good job of that).

What Products Should You Sell In Your Wholesale Dropshipping Business?

Since a myriad of things animal, vegetable or mineral can be shipped within the confines of the continental United States via ground package delivery systems, what could be sold via an online retailing business using a wholesale drop shipping supplier depends, in the final analysis, on your research.

If you can find a wholesale drop shipping supplier who carries the item that you wish to have listed in your webstore, then you could offer it for sale. Research alone will get you an answer to that question. Some wholesale drop shipping suppliers have more than a million different products in their catalogs, so there is plenty from which to choose.

An entirely different question is what will sell when offered by an online retail business using a wholesale drop shipping supplier. So the obvious answer is, you should sell what will sell. Further you should offer for sale what someone will buy from your webstore as opposed to a global retailer with a physical store within driving distance of most everyone.

Niche market goods are the best suited to the type of e-commerce in question here. Take wind chimes, whirlygigs and other stuff that plays in the breeze. You can buy them in many physical retail establishments. Most retailers will offer at least one of these with a dragonfly motif. But where would a person who collects only dragonfly wind chimes shop? If she can find your online retail business using a search engine, it could be with you.

Let's say dragonfly motif wind chimes are in fashion this year, and you offer 100 different kinds of dragonfly motif wind chimes, in all price ranges, from all over the world, then chances are, she'll be a repeat customer. So will her friends and family who are looking for the perfect birthday gift for the dragonfly wind chime collector who has everything.

But not all of her dragonfly wind chimes might be hanging from her porch. She might want a couple in the kitchen. In the physical retail store, the wind chimes are often attached to tiny devices that spin them in a breezeless environment. Those little devices are not offered for sale in the store, but could be part of your online retail business's offerings. The same goes for hooks, angles, invisible filament, replacement parts, even remote controls and timers to make the rotating devices operate only when she wants them to whirl.

Wind chimes will probably never go out of style, but dragonfly ones may become passe. As an online retailer using a wholesale drop shipping supplier, you don't have a warehouse filled with a style that might never tinkle in the breeze unless it is the home of the serious collector. Research by you may or may not reveal whether hummingbird or bumblebee motif wind chimes are the next big thing. But by browsing your wholesale drop ship supplier's catalog you might find a line a wind chimes that coordinates with the hottest new color of house trim paint and another product line in your wind chime online retail business could bring coin to tinkle in your pocket.
