Store credit versus original payment method refunds

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or merchandise credit as follows:

• With a receipt/packing slip or shipping confirmation email within 40 days of your order date, you will receive a cash refund or charge credit.
• With a receipt/packing slip or shipping confirmation email more than 40 days after your order date, you will receive merchandise credit.
• With a gift receipt, you will receive merchandise credit.
• Without a receipt/packing slip or shipping confirmation email, you will receive merchandise credit.

Items purchased partly or entirely with a TJ Maxx gift card will receive merchandise credit when they are returned. This credit is redeemable at any TJ Maxx location or online. Return shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless the merchandise is defective. Purchases made with PayPal that are returned by mail will receive charge credit, minus the $11.99 return shipping and handling fee. If you return your PayPal-purchased shoes at a TJ Maxx brick-and-mortar store, you will only receive store credit.
