Get Your Bicycle Parts At Nashbar Today! Whether it's a bicycle tire, gear, break pad, light, mirror, reflector, chain, or more, your chances of finding exactly the right bicycle part in your local store can be very small. Most local bicycle stores are few and far between because they can't make a living off an occasional shopper.

Online bicycle stores are able to service thousands of customers each month with a wide range of bicycle parts and accessories across numerous brand names. Unlike a local bicycle shop, the prices across the internet are lower as a result of reduced overhead costs. You have a great chance of finding the exact bicycle part you're looking for at a price far less than you could in a traditional bicycle store.

Jenson USA is an online retailer of bike parts and accessories. Originally started to fund the expenses of the CEO's bike habit, this company knows bikes and is passionate about them. In business for nearly 15 years the company has had it's ups and downs but has seen steady growth for many years.

Jenson USA provides a nice selection of bike parts across several categories. They work with fewer brands than some of the higher ranked companies but have good options to fit the needs of most shoppers.

To navigate their website you simply choose between accessories, clothing, components, bike parts, frames, complete bikes and more. Within those categories you'll find a long list of specific areas to further define your search. When searching through their selection we found that some categories had a long list of options while others only had 1 or 2 products to choose from.

Jenson USA offers a 60 day money back guarantee should you not be satisfied with your purchase simply return the product unused and in new condition. Jenson does not charge a restocking fee so there's little risk to purchase from this company. If you have any questions you'll find expertise and knowledge in the staff that answers the phones at Jenson USA.

Overall, we found Jenson USA offered a nice selection of bike parts and accessories. The selection was not as in depth as some of the other companies ranked higher but provided many quality products to choose from across several categories. With a good return policy and knowledgeable friendly customer service staff, Jenson USA is a good choice for your bike parts needs.

Unknown

Bike Somewhere is a website offering bike parts, apparel, accessories as well as skateboards and other miscellaneous products. Upon arriving at their online store we felt an instant turn-off to many aspects of the website. Bike Somewhere lacks nearly all eliminates of a customer friendly experience across the board.

You'll find the look of the website unprofessional and confusing. If we were simply shopping at Bike Somewhere we would have left immediately. Customer service hours were missing, as well as return policy information, exchanges, you name it. We did find that Bike Somewhere offers a retail bike shop in Florida but that was about it. We called them to ask some detailed questions but they didn't answer during the middle of the day. We starting getting a little concerned.

The selection and brand offerings would vary across the category. When the products would appear they were strangely placed with unattractive pictures.

Bike Somewhere made us want to shop somewhere else. The website was not customer friendly, it lacked important details related customer serious policies, hours of operation and more. We also couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. We had several concerns with shopping at Bike Somewhere.

Continued from above

A number of online bicycle parts stores exist today to meet the needs of both the novice biker and the more competitive hardcore rider. However, not all bicycle stores are the same.

Before shopping any bike parts stores online, you should consider the following:

  • Selection. Will the inventory of bicycle parts and brand selection meet your needs?
  • Customer Service. If you have a question about a bicycle part will a knowledgeable person answer the phone and help you in a timely fashion?
  • Prices. Are you paying a fair price for your bicycle parts compared to other competitors?
  • Return policy. If you aren't satisfied with your bicycle parts are you able to return for a full refund?
