Join the best Cheesecake Club with Amazing Clubs Today! Where can you find the best Cheesecake Club? Whether you prefer the traditional flavors like plain and strawberry or love to go for more unique combinations like carrot cake and pumpkin, cheesecake is one of the world's most decadent, sought-after desserts.

But, unless you have a great restaurant near you that carries a wide range of flavor options, you might find it hard to get a near-perfect slice of cheesecake. The selection at your local supermarket is probably disappointing at best, and so many places for eating out just don't have what it takes to make it worth it to bring a piece - or a whole dessert - home to share or to give as a gift.

Cost:

Starting from $79.99 for a 3-month subscription

$18.99 shipping fee per delivery

Cheesecake is a division of Gourmet Gift Baskets: a company that enjoys an "A+" rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau. (That's good info to have, since looking just for Cheesecake doesn't turn up many details!) Although Cheesecake has only been in the delivery business since 2002, the parent company has been in business for more than 80 years!

We like that the Cheesecake site tells you exactly which flavors to expect with every monthly delivery. You'll get White Chocolate Swirl in January, NY Strawberry Topped in February, and so on. There are no duplicated flavors, so each month will bring you something new.

You'll need to decide which size of cheesecake you'd like to send and how long you'd like your deliveries to last. The 6" dessert includes 8 slices, while the 9" size comes with 16 pieces. For the smaller cheesecake, your cost will range from $79.99 for three months to $287.99 for 12 months, while the larger plan ranges from $116.99 for three months to $412.99 for 12 months. You can also choose memberships with 6- and 9-month durations, which are priced accordingly.

As you calculate your total cost, keep in mind that you'll also pay a delivery fee of $18.99 per shipment. While that's more expensive than many other Cheesecake Clubs, the total price is still on the more affordable side - because the average monthly cost is much lower than their rivals.

How does Cheesecake measure up when it comes to gift-giving features? There's no other company that lets you shop as far in advance: you can schedule your first shipment as far out as 18 months (though, honestly, we're not sure why anyone would do that. A lot can happen in a year and a half!). But, you can't specify a date for delivery: all cheesecakes are sent the second week of each month.

There's also no way to create a gift announcement that you can print or that can be sent via email. However, you can write a different gift message for the packing slip with each month's delivery - so a note for Independence Day in July, another to celebrate Valentine's Day or Halloween, etc. (Alternatively, you can use the same note for every shipment if you don't feel like getting creative.)

Everything delivered by this Cheesecake Club is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If your dessert fails to meet your expectations in any way, the company will either send you a replacement or give you a full refund.

Although Cheesecake doesn't come with an impressive array of gift-giving options, we appreciate everything else this retailer has to offer - like affordable plans with two different size options, a wide variety of flavors with no repeats, and a strong reputation for customer service. This is a good choice if you're considering a Cheesecake Club subscription.

Cost:

Starting from $125 for a 3-month subscription

$4.95 shipping fee per delivery

David's Cookies is best-known for its small, round baked goods - shocker, we know - but they offer a wide range of treats including brownies, desserts, and cheesecakes. In business since 1979, hundreds of thousands of customers have satisfied their sweet tooth by shopping at David's.

David's is one of the only Cheesecake Clubs in our review that offers a 9-month option - not that we imagine that's a super-popular choice, but maybe it would be perfect for an expectant mom with cravings? Other options are on a more traditional schedule of 3, 6, or 12 months. You can see all of the monthly flavors on the David's site. Most of them track to the current season, with blueberry in June and pumpkin in October, for example. The company doesn't specify how big the cheesecakes are, or how many servings to expect from each one.

What will you pay for your cheesecake club when buying from David's? Monthly prices range from $37.50 to $41.66 per month, with bigger discounts on the longer plans. What about shipping? David's has conflicting information: under the plan details, it says that free standard shipping is included. But, just below that in the Shipping & Delivery section, it says you'll pay $4.95 per delivery. That's much cheaper than most of the providers of Cheesecake Clubs in our review, but the site should be clearer about what to expect either way.

You might be able to score some additional savings if you keep your eyes peeled: we got a pop-up offering us a discount of 15% if we entered our email address.

All deliveries ship out on the third Tuesday of the month - so if you're looking to have your cheesecakes arrive on a specific date (e.g. for a birthday or other special occasion), this may not be the best option for your gift-giving. (Be aware that we got contradictory information during the checkout process: there, we could select a desired arrival date. If it's important to you to be able to specify a particular date for your delivery, we recommend that you reach out to David's before placing your order.)

David's gifting options were a little lackluster compared with other companies. You can enter a free gift message to be included on the packing slip, but they don't give you the ability to print out an announcement or to have an email notification sent.

On the other hand, one benefit of ordering a Cheesecake Club through David's Cookies is that all of their baked goods are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. You probably won't find that anywhere else.

You also get the protection of David's 100% satisfaction guarantee. You'll have 30 days from the date of delivery to call or email their customer service team, and David's will either reship your item or refund the total value.

Over thousands of customer reviews, David's gets high marks: 4.8 out of 5 stars, on average. While these reviews don't usually refer specifically to the Cheesecake Club - there were only a handful of comments on that product page - we were encouraged to see how many people were very happy with their tasty treats.

At the end of the day, David's is a decent place to buy a Cheesecake Club subscription, with reasonable prices and satisfied customers. But, when it comes to a truly "wow" product, you might find a more impressive plan from one of the companies that specializes in cheesecake.

That's where Cheesecake Clubs come in! Why settle for boring, lumpy desserts when you can have the nation's best cheesecakes delivered right to your doorstep? These subscriptions range from 3-12 months and often include seasonal flavors you may not find at any restaurants or stores near you: blackberry, peppermint and more. Carefully packaged to arrive in flawless condition, these desserts are sure to impress even the pickiest recipients - or to satisfy your own sweet tooth.

Of course, pricing and options vary, so it's important to look for the Cheesecake Club that will best meet your needs. The top providers offer excellent satisfaction guarantees, ensuring that you or your lucky recipient are completely satisfied with each and every delivery - or they'll give you a replacement or refund.

As you consider all of the delicious options out there, here are several criteria to pick the best Cheesecake Club:

  • Variety. What kinds of flavors will you get in your subscription? You can find plain, strawberry and chocolate chip just about anywhere, so will you get to try flavors that may become a new favorite? Will the plan repeat any of the flavors over the course of the membership?
  • Subscription Length: most clubs offer 3-, 6- and 12-month plans. Can you also get a seasonal plan that comes every 3 months?
  • Delivery Fees. Some Cheesecake Clubs include shipping costs in the fees, while others charge up to a hefty $30 extra per month. Be sure to add up those costs when determining what you'll pay for your subscription.
  • Reputation. What do other customers say about the Cheesecake Club? Is there a solid satisfaction guarantee in place? Can you expect a well-packaged delivery of a fresh-tasting cheesecake every month?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Cheesecake Clubs available today. We hope this information helps you pick the sweetest, richest treats for your next gift-giving occasion - or for your own delight!
