Join the best Cheesecake Club with Amazing Clubs Today! Where can you find the best Cheesecake Club? Whether you prefer the traditional flavors like plain and strawberry or love to go for more unique combinations like carrot cake and pumpkin, cheesecake is one of the world's most decadent, sought-after desserts.

But, unless you have a great restaurant near you that carries a wide range of flavor options, you might find it hard to get a near-perfect slice of cheesecake. The selection at your local supermarket is probably disappointing at best, and so many places for eating out just don't have what it takes to make it worth it to bring a piece - or a whole dessert - home to share or to give as a gift.

ELI'S CHEESECAKE

Cost:

Starting from $112.95 for a 3-month subscription

$16.95 shipping fee per delivery

Since 1980, Eli's Cheesecake has been "Chicago's Finest". All of their desserts are slow baked in small batches, made with regional ingredients sourced locally for optimal flavor and freshness.

Eli's has several options when it comes to Cheesecake Clubs. Every cheesecake they deliver serves 14-16:

  • Seasonal: delivered every three months, flavors include hot chocolate, strawberry, blackberry sour cream, and salted caramel. For all four shipments, you'll pay $169.95.
  • 3-month: this plan delivers the three most traditional flavors of plain, chocolate chip, and strawberry. This club is priced at $112.95.
  • 6-month: no matter when you start this subscription, your flavors will include the three traditional flavors in the 3-month plan, as well as Cookie Crazy, blackberry sour cream, and chocolate caramel pecan. You'll pay $224.95 in total.
  • 12-month: take all of the flavors of the 6-month club, then add Irish Mint, cookie butter, pumpkin, peppermint bark, and double chocolate. Your price is $429.95.
  • Sampler: if you want the most variety, this is the plan for you. You'll get four months of deliveries, and each cheesecake will have 3-4 different flavors: Original Favorites, Taste of Chicago, Dream Team and Chocolate Lovers. This plan is priced at $179.95.

Shipping fees aren't included in those Cheesecake Club prices. Delivery is an extra $16.95 per shipment, and your cheesecakes will be shipped frozen and packaged with dry ice in a heavy-duty Styrofoam container.

Want to save a little on your Cheesecake Club purchase? You might get a pop-up offering you a 10% discount on your first order if you give Eli's your email address.

If you're giving this Cheesecake Club as a gift, your recipient will get a certificate letting them know about their membership. Although the site said that you can't specify a delivery date because all cheesecakes ship the second week of the month, the actual order page (after we selected a club and entered our recipient's info) let us choose a specific desired week for delivery. You can enter a gift message on the order page, but Eli's doesn't tell you when that gift notification will be sent. If you're shopping in advance of a holiday or special occasion and don't want to spoil the surprise, you may want to reach out to their customer service team to verify when that message will be sent.

Eli's wants you to be completely satisfied with your cheesecake. If you're unhappy for any reason, you can call their customer service team within 15 days of delivery for a refund or replacement. You may need to send in a photo, especially if your claim is because your dessert arrived in less-than-perfect condition.

Eli's has some novel features that you won't find with other Cheesecake Clubs, particularly the seasonal flavors and the ability to get a sampler of flavors with each delivery. And, Eli's is very well-known for being one of the most delicious makers of cheesecake on the market! Just watch out for those shipping fees when you're adding up how much your subscription will cost.

JB Delicious

JB DELICIOUS

Cost:

Starting from $180 for a 3-month subscription

$30 overnight delivery fee per shipment

JB Delicious is the cheesecake company with many names. Known to many in California as J.M. Rosen's, and under the Dessert Cheesecakes URL, the business has been under the management of Fernando Casillas for over a decade. (Fun fact: Mr. Casillas was the head baker for the Rosens from 1987 onward, eventually buying the business when the original owners moved on to other business ventures.

If you're looking for a Cheesecake Club, JB Delicious has several options:

  • 3-month subscription: New York, Chocolate Fantasy, Neapolitan
  • 6-month subscription: New York, Chocolate Fantasy, Neapolitan, Snickers/ Mocha/Cappuccino, Original Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake

With either plan, you choose the size of cheesecake you want: 6" (8-10 slices) or 9" (16 slices). The smaller 3-month plan costs $180, while the larger cheesecake subscription will be $240. If you're looking for the 6-month subscription, it'll cost you $360 for the 6" desserts and $440 for the 9" cheesecakes. Plus, tack on a $30 delivery fee each month. That's a pretty expensive cheesecake club, especially compared with other services we evaluated.

Is it worth it? Looking at customer reviews from people who had these cheesecakes from a restaurant (especially ones in California that serve J.M. Rosen's desserts), they're definitely a hit. Flavor, texture, and overall impression get rave reviews across-the-board.

While it looks like JB Delicious/J.M. Rosen's does a great job with in-person fulfillment of cheesecake orders, the e-commerce end of the business comes up really short. While we were put off by some of the typos we found on the site (what is "flate rate shipping", anyway?), the real issues came when we tried to subscribe to their Cheesecake of the Month Club. When we tried to fill out the form for the 3-month club, it wouldn't let us submit the form unless we also made a selection for the 6-month club! In other words, the ordering process is broken and you'll have to order a 3-month and 6-month plan to get your order to go through.

What's worse is that we filled out the contact form to let JB Delicious know about the problem and ask what we needed to do to place the order we actually wanted - and over a week later, during a prime gift-giving season, we received no response.

No matter where you get your cheesecake club, it's probably going to be an investment - and you want it to be a tasty, consistent experience that is worth the money. Unfortunately, there's nothing about JB Delicious' online store that will make you think that it's going to deliver what you're looking for, especially since you won't even be able to get past the online order form (...unless you're planning on ordering a 3- and 6-month plan at the same time). You've got many other options to choose from, and we're pretty sure you'll have a better experience with any of the higher-rated cheesecake clubs in our review.

That's where Cheesecake Clubs come in! Why settle for boring, lumpy desserts when you can have the nation's best cheesecakes delivered right to your doorstep? These subscriptions range from 3-12 months and often include seasonal flavors you may not find at any restaurants or stores near you: blackberry, peppermint and more. Carefully packaged to arrive in flawless condition, these desserts are sure to impress even the pickiest recipients - or to satisfy your own sweet tooth.

Of course, pricing and options vary, so it's important to look for the Cheesecake Club that will best meet your needs. The top providers offer excellent satisfaction guarantees, ensuring that you or your lucky recipient are completely satisfied with each and every delivery - or they'll give you a replacement or refund.

As you consider all of the delicious options out there, here are several criteria to pick the best Cheesecake Club:

  • Variety. What kinds of flavors will you get in your subscription? You can find plain, strawberry and chocolate chip just about anywhere, so will you get to try flavors that may become a new favorite? Will the plan repeat any of the flavors over the course of the membership?
  • Subscription Length: most clubs offer 3-, 6- and 12-month plans. Can you also get a seasonal plan that comes every 3 months?
  • Delivery Fees. Some Cheesecake Clubs include shipping costs in the fees, while others charge up to a hefty $30 extra per month. Be sure to add up those costs when determining what you'll pay for your subscription.
  • Reputation. What do other customers say about the Cheesecake Club? Is there a solid satisfaction guarantee in place? Can you expect a well-packaged delivery of a fresh-tasting cheesecake every month?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Cheesecake Clubs available today. We hope this information helps you pick the sweetest, richest treats for your next gift-giving occasion - or for your own delight!
