Cost:

From $3 to $1,150

Mikasa started out in 1948 and was based out of California. They offer the largest selection of dinnerware - at any one time Mikasa can have up to 500 patterns available.

The site is very user friendly with pictures of china dinnerware that make it look like Mikasa is a fit for your dinner table. Mikasa also offers a wide variety of kitchen accessories that are sure to fit any personality. The prices range from $3.00 for a mug to $1,150 for a 12 piece china dishware set. These prices will fit anyone's budget.

The website offers a wide selection of china dinnerware for customers to choose from. To make it easier for customers, Mikasa list "Customer Favorites" first and the below those are other favorites. The only negative at the Mikasa site, is a lack of sophisticated sorting. With so many products it can become overwhelming using their existing search functionality.

While searching for customer reviews of Mikasa we found many positive comments over their china dinnerware but several concerns with glasses breaking easily. Thankfully, Mikasa does offer a no hassle return policy with no questions asked, even if you don't like the design of the product once you receive it. In order to be eligible for return, the product must be unused and returned within 90 days.

Overall, Mikasa has a lot to offer with their vast selection of china dinnerware. While the website can be a little overwhelming at times, the Mikasa china dinnerware is sure to please any customer's taste. They also have one of the best return policies out of many china dinnerware companies.

Cost:

From $4 to $1,000

Royal Doulton is an England based company dating all the way back to 1815. Royal Doulton has caught attention by the royal family for its elegant and sophisticated china dinnerware designs, however we noticed a rather limited overall selection. The dinnerware is suitable for all lifestyles with prices that fit most budgets.

Royal Doulton has simple but elegant china dinnerware designs, along with those that are more decorative. They also offer designs by the famous kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay. His dinnerware consists of mostly neutral colors with no designs. Royal Doulton hardly has anything at the original price, which makes you feel like you are getting an amazing deal. Not only could you buy yourself china dishes, but it's very easy to make these a gift as well. Most china dinnerware is available with free shipping and free gift wrapping. The prices range from $4.20 for a mug, up to $1,000.00 for a full set of dishes.

Royal Doulton receives rave reviews from customers that have previously purchased china dinnerware from them. The return policy is easy and hassle-free. Orders can be returned whether you bought them or received them as a gift, as long as it's within 30 days of purchase.

The biggest downsie we found with Royal Doulton is that they don't have as wide of a selection of china dinnerware sets as other companies. This may turn off many customers that may be looking for something more specific.

Overall, Royal Doulton produces quality china dinnerware that customers will enjoy having at their dinner table. The variety is not there compared to other companies, but the quality is top notch.
