Get Help Managing Your Cholesterol With Vasacor Today! What is the best Cholesterol product? In the past, many doctors relied on prescription medications that used statins to lower levels of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. But, according to the Mayo Clinic, these drugs come with a scary list of potential side effects: muscle pain, liver damage, and even a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, just to name a few.

However, the CDC still recommends that people with high cholesterol - typically considered to be a total reading of 200+, LDL levels of 100+, HDL levels less than 60, or triglycerides of 150+ - make the effort to improve their numbers. Why? If you have high blood cholesterol, you have a higher-than-average risk of heart disease and stroke, two of the leading causes of death in the US.

Aventrol

Cost:

$39.95 for a 1-month supply

$119.85 for a 4-month supply

$159.80 for a 6-month supply (plus free shipping)

Aventrol aims to address cardiovascular health by providing "an influx of clinically evaluated nutrients that have been shown to support heart function". This supplement comes in a vegetarian capsule and is taken once per day in a 2-capsule dosage.

The ingredients of Aventrol include the following:

  • Vitamins B2, B6, and B12: metabolism support, reduction of atherosclerotic plaque, and increasing the levels of "good" HDL cholesterol
  • Vitamin C: can also reduce atherosclerotic plaque and increase HDL levels
  • Vitamin E: support for cardiovascular/circulatory health while lowering LDL cholesterol
  • Folic Acid: combines with Vitamins B12 and B6 to lower the rates of life-threatening cardiovascular events
  • Hawthorne: stimulates circulation, relaxes blood vessels
  • Tri-methylglycine: works in conjunction with folic acid and Vitamins B6/B12 to reduce atherosclerosis

Aventrol's pricing is average when compared with other cholesterol supplements in our review: $39.95 for a 1-month supply, with discounts available on larger orders. When it comes to health and wellness companies, you can't beat the makers of Aventrol, Progressive Health. Across a variety of products, they do an amazing job of responding to everything their customers say - positive or negative - in a way that is professional, friendly, and informative. Over more than 20 years, Progressive Health has established an excellent track record with the Better Business Bureau, with an "A+" rating at the time of our most recent review. Plus, Aventrol comes with a generous 6-month money-back guarantee, ensuring that you can get a refund if you don't see the improvements in your cholesterol levels that you hoped for.

With all of these positives, you may be wondering why Aventrol didn't receive a 4- or 5-star rating. Although Progressive Health lists Aventrol as its product of choice for cholesterol, it was primarily designed as a blood pressure medication. So, while you may get some benefits with respect to your cholesterol levels, the main focus of this supplement is to regulate blood pressure - which may not be an issue for some people who are trying to improve their cholesterol numbers.

For all of these reasons, Aventrol earns a 3.5-star rating: an excellent return policy backed by a reputable company, but a product that isn't as focused on cholesterol support as other supplements we evaluated.

Cost:

$39.95 for a 1-month supply

$79.90 for a 3-month supply

$119.85 for a 5-month supply

Free shipping on 3- and 5-month packages

Hypercet is a supplement designed to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. For people who have already gotten their numbers to where they want them and just want to keep them steady, this could be a good supplement. On the other hand, for individuals who are hoping to lower their bad cholesterol and raise their good cholesterol, this supplement would not be the ideal fit.

While there's no information on the site about how often you take Hypercet, the Ingredients tab shows that a serving size is 4 capsules. We're not sure if those are taken all at once, with or without food, or at a certain time of day. Also according to the ingredients list, Hypercet uses four components to support healthy cholesterol levels:

  • Calcium: promotes heart health
  • Magnesium: regulates blood sugar, promotes normal blood pressure, helps with energy metabolism
  • Beta 1-3d glucans
  • Chromium: important for proper metabolism of carbohydrates and fats

The Hypercet site doesn't offer any links to studies or other information demonstrating the effectiveness of these ingredients.

This supplement is priced similarly to other cholesterol supplements in our review: starting at $39.95 for a 1-month supply, with discounts on orders of 3- or 5-month quantities. You'll get free shipping if you order 3 or 5 months of Hypercet at a time.

While Hypercet advertises a 100% money-back guarantee, this return policy only applies to unopened bottles. So, if you try Hypercet and it doesn't help you maintain healthy cholesterol levels - or you have a bad reaction to the supplement - you won't be able to get any money back. That puts Hypercet way behind most of their competitors, who typically allow customers to return opened bottles for a full refund. You'll also be charged a $10 restocking fee per item.

Other than the testimonials on the Hypercet website itself, there are few reviews from actual users of Hypercet.

While Hypercet might be useful for keeping cholesterol levels stable, this product doesn't have a good return policy if you don't see the results you want.

Of course, the best course of action is to not develop high cholesterol in the first place. But, for people who have tried to improve their eating habits, lose weight, get regular physical activity, limit alcohol consumption and quit smoking and still find themselves facing high cholesterol levels, what options are available?

The good news? It is possible to achieve healthy levels of blood cholesterol without the negative side effects associated with taking statins. How? Through all-natural supplements that can work in conjunction with other healthy habits, effectively lowering bad cholesterol and increasing good cholesterol.

When considering these products, how can you decide which one will be the most effective in reducing your high cholesterol? You'll want to evaluate each supplement according to the following criteria:

  • Effectiveness. What ingredients are included in the supplement? Are they clinically proven to work? Are there any ingredients that may not be suitable for your needs (for example, soy or lactose, if you're allergic)? What do other users say about the results they achieved - or didn't achieve - while using this cholesterol product? How long did it take for them to see results?
  • Cost. How much will it cost to get a monthly supply of this supplement? Pay close attention to the dosage amount: some supplements contain a 1-month supply in the bottle, while others may require higher dosages in the beginning, resulting in a higher initial cost. Is the product competitive with other cholesterol options?
  • Refund Policy. If you try the cholesterol product and it doesn't work well for you, can you get your money back? How much time are you given to try the product while still being eligible for a refund?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Cholesterol products available today. We hope this information helps you find the ideal supplement for improving your cholesterol levels - naturally and with no harmful side effects!
