Card Store opened it's online store over 10 years ago and was recently purchased by American Greetings Corporation. Card Store offers an astounding 9000 + designs with a wide selection of Christmas cards. Card Store allows you to add a personal touch to their selection by adding photos, personalizing the messages, and adding your actual signature.

To search the Card Store selection of Christmas cards you simply select the Holiday tab and Christmas cards. Within the Christmas cards section you may choose from several categories including photo cards, border cards, funny, religious, business, and greeting cards, You may also narrow your search by the number of photos you want to include and who the recipient is. Additional options include card types such as folded, flat, size and artist. Some of the popular Christmas card artists include Taylor Swift, Zelda Wisdom and many of the artists you've seen from the American Greetings card collection at local stores.

Card Store is very customer oriented with free shipping options, the choice to have Card Store to address and post your envelopes for you. Cards are a little more expensive at Card Store. The smaller post cards start at .99 but many of the cards are priced well over $2.00 or $3.00 per card. Card Store does not have a minimum order requirement but the more you purchase the lower the per card price.

Card Store has a huge selection of Christmas cards to choose from. The aspect that stood out the most at Card Store was the option to address and post the envelope. Card Store offers affordable selections if you are looking for larger quantities.

Leanin' Tree is a 60 year old greeting card company that utilizes original artwork in their cards from artists around the world. Leanin' Tree also offers e-cards, calendars, and gifts. We found the selection of Christmas cards at Leanin' Tree to be abundant but unattractive and lacking diversity.

To peruse the selection of Christmas cards you may choose from ornament cards, classic cards, photo cards, premium Christmas, embossed, boxed sets and value Christmas cards. The selection within each category involved muted colors and an old fashioned style that we felt would not meet the needs of most.

The personalized photo cards were expensive at $2.99 a piece for small orders. No minimum order is required. The personalization options include uploading pictures and modifying text as desired and are limited to photo cards only. The boxed sets and other cards were generally very inexpensive with prices starting at $.90. Unfortunately we couldn't find a single card we liked or that we felt represented our style.

Orders leave the manufacturer in 3 to 5 business days based on personalization needs. Shipping starts at $5.95 for minimum orders. Leanin' Tree offers a full return if they don't meet your satisfaction.

With a lack of personalization options and quality, attractive Christmas cards we felt a higher ranked company would be a better option for your Christmas card needs.

You can add pictures, text, and even create holographic and magnetic Christmas cards - the options are endless when you shop online. Christmas card companies vary in a number of ways. Before shopping for your next set of Christmas cards, you should consider the following:

  • Selection. What type of Christmas cards does the company offer? How large is their selection of Christmas cards?
  • Minimum Order Requirements. Does the company require that you purchase a minimum number of Christmas cards? If so, how many Christmas cards must you buy?
  • Price. What is the cost per Christmas card? How does that compare with other Christmas card companies?
