Cost:

Starting from $1.45

Pear Tree Greetings is an online stationary provider in business since 2008. They sell holiday cards, baby announcements, birthday cards, thank you cards, wedding invitations, party invitations and more. Pear Tree Greetings is a well designed interactive website that attracts those with a creative side. At Pear Tree Greetings, plan on bringing your pictures as most card designs require a photo.

To navigate the Christmas card selection at Pear Tree Greetings you may select the Holidays tab and Christmas cards. Next you may select from Christmas cards, recycled cards, religious cards, business holiday cards and more. Within each category you may narrow down your search further by the number of photos you'd like to add, the type of card, color, shape, size, and more.

Pear Tree Greetings sells a selection of magnetic cards, flat, pocket, and trifold cards. We ran across a few ornament cards as well. We really liked the travels and memories photo card option that allowed for multiple pictures and a large space to share updates and travel stories that occurred that year. We also liked the dangling photo greeting cards that hold multiple pictures and a holiday message on a string.

Cards start at $1.45 to $1.75 a piece, with a minimum order of 8 cards. Pear Tree offers some free shipping options. Economy shipping starts at $4.99 and rush starts at $18.99. Pear Tree Greetings requires 2 days for processing your order - meaning the soonest you may receive your customized Christmas cards is within 3 days. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase you may call Pear Tree to discuss and they'll correct the problem.

Overall, we liked the Pear Tree designs - especially for those that have photo's available that they want to use in their Christmas Cards. While less design flexibility exists at Pear Tree we liked the options and color choices they have available. If you are looking for a unique, high quality Christmas card, Pear Tree Greetings has a great selection to choose from.

Cost:

Starting from $2.12

eInvite is a Massachusetts based company that specializes in stationary. You'll find wedding invitations, baby announcements, bar mitzvah invites, Christmas, Thanksgiving and other holiday greeting cards at eInvite. Prices are steep, compared to other high quality providers, and we had a tough time finding out why.

To search the selection of Christmas cards at eInvite you select the Holiday tab, and choose from photo greeting cards, business, holiday cards, and Christmas cards. The website allows you to further filter by color to narrow down their 70 or 80 different Christmas cards. We found the photo cards were mixed in with Christmas cards and the overall selection was much smaller than those companies ranked higher. When we selected other categories we found they were also mixed with different card types as well - that was a bit confusing.

eInvite requires a minimum 10 card order on most cards. We found their prices were nearly double that of some of the higher ranked companies. We didn't see that higher quality paper or printing was occurring - we couldn't identify the reasoning behind the cost difference. Also, don't be tricked by the pricing. The list price that appears is for 100 or more cards, if you are looking for a much smaller order you'll find the individual price per card is significantly higher.

A 7 day return policy exists and only includes reprints. Shipping starts at $8.95 for ground shipping for a minimal order. The website states that production time varies per product but we couldn't confirm what those time frames were.

With unreliable search results, expensive pricing and limited selection it was hard to get excited about the eInvite Christmas cards.

You can add pictures, text, and even create holographic and magnetic Christmas cards - the options are endless when you shop online. Christmas card companies vary in a number of ways. Before shopping for your next set of Christmas cards, you should consider the following:

  • Selection. What type of Christmas cards does the company offer? How large is their selection of Christmas cards?
  • Minimum Order Requirements. Does the company require that you purchase a minimum number of Christmas cards? If so, how many Christmas cards must you buy?
  • Price. What is the cost per Christmas card? How does that compare with other Christmas card companies?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Christmas cards companies available today. We hope these reviews help you find the exact kind of Christmas cards you're looking for!
