Storkie started in 1990 with a mission to provide innovative, high quality stationary products. They specialize in customization and put a strong focus on both customer service and speed. Their selection of Christmas cards is extensive and fabulous.
When browsing the large variety of Christmas cards at Storkie, you first narrow down your search by selecting Christmas Photo cards, Modern Christmas cards, Classic Christmas cards, Ornament Christmas cards, Photo Magnet Christmas cards, or their "Inventation" Christmas card collection where you essentially create your own.
Storkie's Christmas cards let you incorporate your own pictures into many of their designs. You also have other options for customization. We especially liked envelope lining options and the outer pocket wrap feature, which turns an ordinary card into a full presentation. We also enjoyed browsing the Christmas magnet cards and the ornament selection. Storkie definitely has an innovative line of Christmas cards and greetings that you can be proud to send out.
Christmas cards start around $1.79 with a minimum quantity purchase of 10 cards. The Christmas magnet cards start at $2.49 each with a minimum order of 24. If needed, Christmas cards can be created, designed and delivered in as little as 2 days. Shipping starts at $9.95 for ground shipping at $29.95 for overnight shipping.
Storkie currently holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating. Their customer service staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. If you should have any concerns or issues with your purchase, you can call Storkie toll-free for assistance.
If you're looking for Christmas cards that are fun, unique and beautiful, Storkie is a wonderful destination. They have top-quality Christmas cards, a large number of personalization options, and quick delivery. Combined with fair prices and helpful customer service, Storkie earns our highest rating.
Card Store opened it's online store over 10 years ago and was recently purchased by American Greetings Corporation. Card Store offers an astounding 9000 + designs with a wide selection of Christmas cards. Card Store allows you to add a personal touch to their selection by adding photos, personalizing the messages, and adding your actual signature.
To search the Card Store selection of Christmas cards you simply select the Holiday tab and Christmas cards. Within the Christmas cards section you may choose from several categories including photo cards, border cards, funny, religious, business, and greeting cards, You may also narrow your search by the number of photos you want to include and who the recipient is. Additional options include card types such as folded, flat, size and artist. Some of the popular Christmas card artists include Taylor Swift, Zelda Wisdom and many of the artists you've seen from the American Greetings card collection at local stores.
Card Store is very customer oriented with free shipping options, the choice to have Card Store to address and post your envelopes for you. Cards are a little more expensive at Card Store. The smaller post cards start at .99 but many of the cards are priced well over $2.00 or $3.00 per card. Card Store does not have a minimum order requirement but the more you purchase the lower the per card price.
Card Store has a huge selection of Christmas cards to choose from. The aspect that stood out the most at Card Store was the option to address and post the envelope. Card Store offers affordable selections if you are looking for larger quantities.
Pear Tree Greetings is an online stationary provider in business since 2008. They sell holiday cards, baby announcements, birthday cards, thank you cards, wedding invitations, party invitations and more. Pear Tree Greetings is a well designed interactive website that attracts those with a creative side. At Pear Tree Greetings, plan on bringing your pictures as most card designs require a photo.
To navigate the Christmas card selection at Pear Tree Greetings you may select the Holidays tab and Christmas cards. Next you may select from Christmas cards, recycled cards, religious cards, business holiday cards and more. Within each category you may narrow down your search further by the number of photos you'd like to add, the type of card, color, shape, size, and more.
Pear Tree Greetings sells a selection of magnetic cards, flat, pocket, and trifold cards. We ran across a few ornament cards as well. We really liked the travels and memories photo card option that allowed for multiple pictures and a large space to share updates and travel stories that occurred that year. We also liked the dangling photo greeting cards that hold multiple pictures and a holiday message on a string.
Cards start at $1.45 to $1.75 a piece, with a minimum order of 8 cards. Pear Tree offers some free shipping options. Economy shipping starts at $4.99 and rush starts at $18.99. Pear Tree Greetings requires 2 days for processing your order - meaning the soonest you may receive your customized Christmas cards is within 3 days. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase you may call Pear Tree to discuss and they'll correct the problem.
Overall, we liked the Pear Tree designs - especially for those that have photo's available that they want to use in their Christmas Cards. While less design flexibility exists at Pear Tree we liked the options and color choices they have available. If you are looking for a unique, high quality Christmas card, Pear Tree Greetings has a great selection to choose from.
Cherishables offers a wide variety of personalized photo products, including calendars, gifts, and a large selection of greeting cards. When it comes to Christmas cards, they have more than 500 designs to choose from, in addition to being able to design your own.
Although the Cherishables website isn't overly fancy, it is relatively easy to find what you're looking for. On the main Christmas Cards page, you can use the left-hand navigation to choose among their available themes:
In that same area, you can also choose "Show Me Everything", "Design Your Own", and "Designs We Love". Once you've chosen one of those options, you can further sort the results by color, number of featured photos, card size, and type of paper.
Pricing is very competitive at Cherishables. There is a minimum order size of 20 cards, and the most affordable designs start at $0.97 per card when making that minimum order. For larger orders (200+), prices go as low as $0.56 each. Envelopes are included at no extra charge for all orders printed on card stock. And, at the time of our review, customers could get free ground shipping on all orders of photo cards - another money-saving perk of buying Christmas cards at Cherishables.
Cherishables' satisfaction guarantee is to-the-point and terrific: "You will receive a prompt 100% refund if you are not happy with your order." It was no surprise to see that they've been an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau since 2009, and that they maintained an "A+" rating at the time of our review.
We give Cherishables a good rating for their excellent, customer-friendly policies and competitive pricing.
American Greetings offers an interactive website to purchase Christmas cards, Christmas photo cards and print at home Christmas cards. You'll find much of they same styles and looks that are offered at Card Store but with less of the ease.
We had to expend a little extra effort to understand the American Greetings search functionality. When we clicked on View all Christmas Cards we were confused with where to go next. Eventually we understood the website layout and identified they offer traditional boxed Christmas cards, personalized cards, photo cards, affordable Christmas post cards and eCards. You may also choose from romantic, funny and business appropriate Christmas cards.
American Greetings offers a nice service of mailing the card direct to the recipient if you are wanting to save time. We unfortunately, couldn't find any way to import a list of addresses to help us save a lot of time. You may also choose to have American Greetings print your return address on the envelopes for a more professional look. We eventually identified that shipping is free at times as well as free postage if American Greetings addresses and mails the envelopes for you. A nice feature if you're willing to manually type in every individual recipient address.
Cards start at .99 for post cards and go up to $2.99 per card for a personalized folded card. Prices decline some as you buy larger quantities. We were unable to identify a return policy if any at American Greetings as well as the associated printing time.
Outside of the traditional, and a bit redundant styles, we liked the free postage option at American Greetings. The prices were a little expensive but if you are willing to have American Greetings mail the cards for you it might be worth it. We had wished the website would have been a little more user friendly and more forthcoming with their policies.
eInvite is a Massachusetts based company that specializes in stationary. You'll find wedding invitations, baby announcements, bar mitzvah invites, Christmas, Thanksgiving and other holiday greeting cards at eInvite. Prices are steep, compared to other high quality providers, and we had a tough time finding out why.
To search the selection of Christmas cards at eInvite you select the Holiday tab, and choose from photo greeting cards, business, holiday cards, and Christmas cards. The website allows you to further filter by color to narrow down their 70 or 80 different Christmas cards. We found the photo cards were mixed in with Christmas cards and the overall selection was much smaller than those companies ranked higher. When we selected other categories we found they were also mixed with different card types as well - that was a bit confusing.
eInvite requires a minimum 10 card order on most cards. We found their prices were nearly double that of some of the higher ranked companies. We didn't see that higher quality paper or printing was occurring - we couldn't identify the reasoning behind the cost difference. Also, don't be tricked by the pricing. The list price that appears is for 100 or more cards, if you are looking for a much smaller order you'll find the individual price per card is significantly higher.
A 7 day return policy exists and only includes reprints. Shipping starts at $8.95 for ground shipping for a minimal order. The website states that production time varies per product but we couldn't confirm what those time frames were.
With unreliable search results, expensive pricing and limited selection it was hard to get excited about the eInvite Christmas cards.
Day Spring is a Christian based company that offers a wide selection of cards, gift, jewelry, home decor and more. Day Spring was purchased by Hallmark cards about 10 years ago. Within the Christmas card selection you will find boxed sets, personalized cards, premium and value options.
All cards use pictures and verbiage centered around the Christian faith. The personalized Christmas card items are limited to 25+ choices. We found the card designs to be a bit out-of-date and unattractive. The premium selection offered slightly more attractive options but at almost $4.00 a piece we didn't think they were a good value.
All cards are sold in 16 or 18 card minimums. Some of the prices are very affordable at around $.50 a piece with others close to $4.00. The personalization options were limited to text - not color, font, etc that other companies provide.
Shipping is free on orders over $50 for a limited time. Personalization is an extra charge of $4.00 per box. Day Spring will also personalize envelops with a return address for $2.00 extra. Day Spring does offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Shipping starts at $6.45 for ground $20.45 for minimum orders. Orders are printed and go out within 2-3 business days.
If you are looking for religious Christmas cards the selection at many of the higher ranked companies is more abundant, more personalized and more cost effective.
Leanin' Tree is a 60 year old greeting card company that utilizes original artwork in their cards from artists around the world. Leanin' Tree also offers e-cards, calendars, and gifts. We found the selection of Christmas cards at Leanin' Tree to be abundant but unattractive and lacking diversity.
To peruse the selection of Christmas cards you may choose from ornament cards, classic cards, photo cards, premium Christmas, embossed, boxed sets and value Christmas cards. The selection within each category involved muted colors and an old fashioned style that we felt would not meet the needs of most.
The personalized photo cards were expensive at $2.99 a piece for small orders. No minimum order is required. The personalization options include uploading pictures and modifying text as desired and are limited to photo cards only. The boxed sets and other cards were generally very inexpensive with prices starting at $.90. Unfortunately we couldn't find a single card we liked or that we felt represented our style.
Orders leave the manufacturer in 3 to 5 business days based on personalization needs. Shipping starts at $5.95 for minimum orders. Leanin' Tree offers a full return if they don't meet your satisfaction.
With a lack of personalization options and quality, attractive Christmas cards we felt a higher ranked company would be a better option for your Christmas card needs.
You don't have to send out the same old traditional Christmas cards this season. The box selection at your local store has been around the block and back. For a new, different, and fun experience, you can use the internet to find and personalize Christmas cards that represents your own unique style.
You may be surprised with how many Christmas card options exist in the land of internet shopping. Card companies provide numerous Christmas card choices that are both innovative and distinctive. Moreover, these Christmas cards can be personalized in ways that are impossible with traditional in-store Christmas cards.
You can add pictures, text, and even create holographic and magnetic Christmas cards - the options are endless when you shop online. Christmas card companies vary in a number of ways. Before shopping for your next set of Christmas cards, you should consider the following:
