Recover Your Data With Kernel Data Recovery Today! Many of us use computers every day. From handheld smartphones and music players, to desktop and laptop computers, devices that store data surround us. However, any hour of the day your computer's data can become inaccessible for a number of reasons. These can include registry corruption, loss of MBR (Master Boot Record), viruses, accidental deletions, and more.

This means that important work documents, pictures, and personal files can be permanently gone without any advance warning. Data recovery software offers a great piece of insurance to make sure you get protection from failed technology or a bad slip of the hand. With a good data recovery system, you can recover most files that have been deleted whether by accident or by malfunction.

While Pareto Logic's Data Recovery Pro works well enough, software that is up to date with current systems and programs is recommended. Pareto Logic's Data Recovery Pro is a decent program for recovering deleted files or files from damaged or corrupt Windows systems and newly formatted or partitioned drives. However, despite some interesting features it appears that the software hasn't been updated in some time which may mean it's worthless in effectively recovering missing or deleted data.

Features of Pareto Logic's data recovery software include:

  • Can find and retrieve deleted email and deleted email attachments
  • Revives files from even freshly formatted or partitioned drives
  • Recovers a wide variety of file types, including recycled, compressed and encrypted
  • Retrieve missing files from many peripheral storage devices
  • Able to recover missing songs from the iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, and iPod Classic (iPod Touch and the iPhone not currently supported)
  • Revives files from your Windows PC
  • Search for keywords and phrases in deleted files
  • Software is small and light on resources

Data Recovery Pro touts an e-mail specific scanner but it only works with Outlook 2003 and 2007, Outlook Express 6, and Vista Mail. Because it's only available for Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000, it seems Pareto Logic hasn't updated Data Recovery Pro in some time, leaving out Windows 7 and 8 and the newer e-mail clients. While they are active on social media (Facebook, Twitter,LinkedIn and its own blog) most activity is aimed at promoting more current products. So Data Recovery Pro appears outdated compared with other data recovery software available.

Pareto Logic does offer a 30 day money-back guarantee if they are unable to assist you or if you are not satisfied with their product. Pareto Logic has plenty of other up-to-date products, but for those looking for data recovery software, we'd advise to look elsewhere first.

However, not all data recovery software is the same. Before you purchase your next data recovery utility, you should consider a number of factors. These include:

  • Features. What data recovery features are included in the software? Will they meet all of your needs? How does the list of data recovery features compare to other similar products?
  • Flexibility. Is the data recovery software flexible and user friendly? Will customers struggle to run the file recovery software?
  • Price. How does the data recovery software compare in price to other data recovery products?
