The symptoms of depression effect millions of people each year. Some people struggle with depression for only a few days a year, while others suffer for months at a time. As these people know all to well, depression can affect all facets of life including relationships with friends and family, work effectiveness, and home life.

Many people suffering with depression have tried traditional prescription based anti-depression medications. However the effectiveness of these products isn't guaranteed. The high cost of these medicines, as well as potentially dangerous side effects, are a big turn off for depression sufferers.

Mood Brite is a homeopathic mood enhancer by HelloLife, advertised primarily as a natural remedy for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). HelloLife is a relatively new company that provides natural health products and promotes a healthy lifestyle. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, but parent company Ionx Holdings has an A rating with the BBB.

Some research into HelloLife revealed a case in March of 2013 in which the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau recommended that several claims be removed from their ADHD remedy Synaptol, including the claim that it worked "quickly" and the claim that it was non-addictive. HelloLife complied and removed these and several other claims. No such case could be found about their Mood Brite product but it gave us reason to be cautious when accepting claims about any HelloLife products.

Reading more about the Mood Brite product gave us more confidence however, since the product is FDA approved and all of the active natural ingredients are supported by the Homeopathic Pharmacopia of the United States. Any natural ingredient included in the HPUS has been tested and show to have the effects that it claims to have. So despite some initial questions about the claims made by HelloLife, we are confident that the products being provided are legitimate and of good quality.

In the case of Mood Brite, there are 11 active ingredients including Ignata to combat seasonal depression, Sepia to fight sadness, Calc carb and Nat carb to reduce apprehension and worry, among others. The ingredients are dissolved in a purified ionized mineral water solution and administered in liquid form.

Reviews from users of Mood Brite were positive in general. Most reported an overall better mood, reduced crying and feelings of sadness, and increased energy. We would have like to see more consumer reviews, however, as the few we were able to find were not linked to the HelloLife website and there were no testimonials on the website either.

We are split in our opinion of the Mood Brite product from HelloLife. On the one hand it is an FDA approved product with valid homeopathic ingredients, it is reasonably inexpensive, and some reviews of the results are positive. On the other hand this is a new product with very few reviews from a new company that has had questionable claims made on at least one of their other products. For those looking for a natural solution to their Seasonal Affective Disorder symptoms it may be worth a try.

Along with improving diet and adding exercise, many people are also trying alternative options to fight their depression. Several companies offer homeopathic formulas to combat depression, and some of these can be very effective.

For those new to the idea of natural depression relief products it can be a challenge knowing which products have the best, most effective formulas. Before choosing a product to relieve your depression, you should consider the following:

  • Effectiveness. Depression can be evident, yet different for everyone. What symptoms will the depression relief product address?
  • Cost. How expensive is the depression relief product? How does that compare to other products?
  • Return Policy. Does the company backup the effectiveness of their depression relief product with a satisfaction guarantee? Will you be able to return for a refund if you're not satisfied?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Depression Relief products available today. We hope these reviews help you find relief for your depression right away!
