American Screening Corporation

AMERICAN SCREENING CORPORATION Visit Site

Cost:

$4.69 each for standard 5 panel test (cheaper for larger quantities)

American Screening Corporatin, or ASC, is a Lousianna based company that's been in business since 2002. They offer high quality, yet affordable medical supplies. Their product list includes a nice selection of home drug tests with some flexibility not available at most other companies.

The ASC website presents some challenges with quickly finding what you're looking for. The selection is rather in depth and may be found by choosing the test method such as urine, saliva, hair, and more. ASC does offer nice flexibility with their five panel test. You may choose which five drugs you want to test for - an option not available at most drug testing companies.

The down side to ASC is that a minimum purchase of $10.00 is required. Also, ground shipping is expensive and starts at around $11.00 or more. For those interested in buying larger quantities of five panel tests, ASC has great prices.

ASC provides customers an inefficient shopping experience but the time is worth the wait. Selection and pricing is good at ASC. We especially liked flexibility with the five panel test option. The minimum purchase requirement was less customer friendly as well as the shipping costs. If you're looking for flexibility in your drug testing options and need to purchase more than one test, ASC is worth a look.

Walk In Lab

WALK IN LAB Visit Site

Cost:

$49.00 7 panel urine test

Walk In Lab provides medical and drug testing direct to the consumer that is 18 years or older. Simply order your tests online, print off the request, visit the closest lab, and wait 24-48 hours for online test results. Walk-In-Lab does not work with residents of MA, NY, NJ, RI or MD.

To search for drug test at Walk-In-Lab you click on "Drug Tests" in the test category section. You'll find less than 20 drug tests to choose from. Most are very expensive and test for multiple toxins. Unfortunately we found none drug related tests in the search results which would add confusion for the shopper.

Tests purchased through Walk-In-Lab are expensive and start at $42 for a basic lithium test and go up to $371 for a 7 drug blood test. The cost of the tests were a red flag for us.

With a limited selection of drug test options, no in home test options, waiting 1 to 2 days for test results and significant costs over the higher ranked companies, Walk-In-Lab didn't rank well. For those searching for convenient, in home or office testing, at an affordable price, we recommend you consider a higher ranked company for your drug testing needs.

Continued from above

When large companies utilize drug tests, they often use expensive facilities to test employees. While effective, the fees that these agencies charge are usually cost-prohibitive for small businesses, or for parents that want to monitor their children for drug use.

Instead, many have found that online companies offer an assortment of effective and affordable drug testing kits. These systems allow samples to be taken in the privacy of an office or home without the use of an off-site test facility.

When looking for a quality drug test company consider the following first:

  • Selection. If you're looking for a panel of tests or only one particular toxin you'll want a company that offers a wide selection of available tests to meet your needs.
  • Cost. Comparing and contrasting the costs of drug tests will help you save money in the end. You'll want to find a company that offers the best prices.
  • Process. Many drug tests may be performed in the convenience of your home of office. While other companies only work with labs. Make sure you understand how the testing process works to best meet your needs.

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best drug tests available today. We hope these reviews help you find the right drug testing to fit your needs!
