Comfort on these bikes is paramount, and the design provides support to the body while putting very little stress on the back.

An upright exercise bike is built more like a traditional bicycle, with a padded saddle seat, pedals placed directly underneath the body, and the handlebars are positioned in front. This type of bike may work the gluteal muscles more thoroughly because a rider can fully extend their hips through the cycle. This type is bike is ideal for those who are not experiencing health problems and just want a good workout.
