3,000+ faucets ranging in price from $20 to $6,000

60 days (minus return shipping + 10% restocking fee)

Based in southeastern Wisconsin and with multiple distribution centers throughout the US, eFaucets wants to give you a fast, affordable shopping experience that beats getting your faucets from a big-box home improvement store. With more than 3000 options to choose from, you definitely won't find this retailer lacking in selection.

From economical to expensive

The most economical option at eFaucets is the Kohler Single-Lever Handle model for the shower. Not only is it bargain priced at $20.80, this simple faucet earned 5 stars from customers who bought it for their bathrooms.

On the high end of the price spectrum, eFaucets carries the Kallista Two-Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet with Cube Handles. Who knew you could get a 3D printed spout? If money is no object and you want an artistic, unique look for your bath, this faucet set can be yours for just under $6,000.

Middle of the pack pricing

How does eFaucets measure up with our comparison product, the 340-DST Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet by Delta? The starting price for this model is $117.16 and is one of this retailer's best-sellers (as shown by more than 1,300 customer reviews on the product). That puts eFaucets towards the middle of the pack, with some of their rivals coming in with a lower price while others are more expensive.

Best Faucets

Free ground shipping

All orders of at least $45 qualify for free ground shipping. If your order is less than that, shipping rates start at $7.99 - so it might be worth it to upgrade slightly or purchase extra items in order to get your shipping at no cost.

60 day returns

The return policy at this retailer gives you 60 days to return your faucet. It has to be in resalable condition, which means you can't install it and decide you don't like it. You can expect return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee to be deducted from your refund.

Mixed customer feedback

eFaucets has an "A+" rating from the BBB, but what do customers say about their experiences with the retailer? Feedback from buyers is mixed. We found thousands of five-star reviews, which is encouraging. Happy shoppers say that they got the faucets they needed at the right price and had no issues with customer service. On the other hand, complaints frequently mention having problems getting a refund on products that arrived broken or in seemingly used condition. More than a few comments said that eFaucet's representatives were rude and blamed the customer for problems that weren't their fault.

eFaucets could be an ideal choice if you're looking for a specialty faucet for your sink and just can't find it at a generic home improvement store. You're sure to find something that meets your needs and your wallet when shopping with this retailer. However, their pricing, mandatory restocking fee on returns and their reputation earn them a rating that's just slightly higher than average.

800+ models from $93 to $5,405

Must call within 24 hours of delivery; 30% restocking fee charged

AJ Madison primarily sells major name-brand appliances, but their selection of faucets includes over 800 choices for kitchen, bathroom and more.

Delta faucets missing

AJ Madison doesn't carry any faucets by Delta, so we couldn't make an apples-to-apples comparison on pricing with that specific kitchen model. Brands this retailer offers include Moen, Elkay, All Clad, Brizo, Zip, Hansgrohe and Rohl, along with several others.

The most expensive faucet sold by AJ Madison is the Zip Celsius AIO filtered drinking water system. It ranges in price from approximately $5100 to $5400, depending on whether you choose a basic chrome finish or one of the upgrade options (e.g. Matte Black, Rose Gold, or Brushed Nickel).

Price match guarantee

You won't find as many "bargain" options with this retailer as you might get with rival stores in our review. The lowest-priced faucet from AJ Madison is the Elkay Double Lever Cast Spout Bar/Prep model for $57. That's given as a sale price, but it seemed that those "sale prices" tend to be this store's everyday pricing. Plus, they offer a Price Match Guarantee, so if you find the faucet you want for a lower price somewhere else, you can get in contact with AJ Madison to see if it's from a competitor they're willing to beat.

Free shipping - if you spend over $599

But, they're probably not going to do much for you with respect to shipping. Sure, they offer free delivery on orders of $599+ (because they primarily sell appliances), but you're going to spend almost $30 on shipping for that $57 faucet we mentioned. That's extremely expensive!

Poor return policy

We weren't impressed by this store's return policy. You have to call within 24 hours of receipt if your faucet doesn't live up to your expectations - so you're out of luck if you're not around to receive your package and miss that 1-day window. Every return is subject to a hefty 30% restocking fee, plus any refund will also have shipping costs (to and from your address) deducted. On top of that, defective faucets have to be addressed with the manufacturer - AJ Madison says that "most returns can be avoided [by calling their] knowledgeable specialists for more information", but we're not sure how that helps customers who receive damaged or defective goods.

Defective shipments

As you might expect, reviews for this store are all over the place. Keeping in mind that their primary products are large appliances, it's not hard to imagine why a customer would be angry at receiving defective products and not being able to get a refund with minimal hassle. We found several customer complaints dated within just a few days of our most recent review of AJ Madison, saying that what they got was actually marked as "defective" on the box - but sold to them anyway! Even at the BBB, where the company gets an "A+" rating, there were still dozens of registered complaints over the last 12 months.

For most people looking for faucets, AJ Madison isn't going to be the go-to online store. Fewer brands, higher prices, and steep fees for both shipping and restocking make this retailer a less-than-ideal choice when looking to buy your next fixture for your bathroom or kitchen.

Continued from above

The obvious advantage of shopping for faucets online is the convenience. There's no need to drive from one store to another, hoping for the right items in their inventory, when you can browse from home. And, you're not limited to your precious time off on weekends: whether you've got a few minutes during your train commute, you're stuck at home sick, or you just don't feel like going out, your home improvement project doesn't have to be put on hold.

So, how can you tell which faucet store should earn your business? That depends on what you're looking for, but here are a few factors to keep in mind as you narrow down the choices:

  • Selection. To make your kitchen or bathroom uniquely yours, or to stay within your desired budget, you'll want as many options as possible. How many brands, styles and finishes will you get when shopping at any given faucet store?
  • Pricing. You might be surprised at the price range on a specific model of faucet. Policies like price match guarantees and free shipping can also make a retailer more competitive.
  • Return Policy. If your faucet arrives and isn't the right fit for the project or you just don't like it, how long do you have to send it back? Will you be charged a restocking fee or return shipping costs?
  • Reputation. What do other shoppers say about their experience with the retailer? How well does the store handle problems when they come up? Has the faucet store been rated by the BBB? has reviewed and ranked the best faucet stores available today. We hope this information helps you find the right fixture for your kitchen or bathroom!
