In fact, fitness clothing may be one of the most important components of having a successful exercise plan, aside from the activity itself. Workout clothes run the gamut, from tried-and-true, name-brand labels to boutique brands designed to give wearers a unique look at the gym. Yoga Outlet

YOGA OUTLET Visit Site

Don't let the name fool you: Yoga Outlet is a top destination for many types of fitness clothing, not just yoga and Pilates. You'll find tops and bottoms, sports bras and other intimates, along with a well-rounded selection of items for home and wellness, meditation, and, yes, yoga mats and props.

Created in 2012 with headquarters in California, Yoga Outlet has been featured in InStyle and Martha Stewart Weddings magazines, while at the same time maintaining an excellent reputation with their everyday customers. At the time of our review, they enjoyed a respectable "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau, with only one complaint!

While the store is definitely geared towards the namaste crowd, there are plenty of options for people who get fit from A(bs) to Z(umba). If you're looking for trending apparel, start by clicking on the New Arrivals tab. We found everything from Onzie Yoga Shorts in brand-new patterns to yoga mat towelettes for keeping your mat clean and smelling fresh. Otherwise, click on any of the other tabs - Clothing, Accessories, and so forth - to narrow down your options to what you're shopping for. With any category you select, you'll be able to use the filter choices on the left to shop by size, features (like pockets!), color, price, and more. We love how you can see not only all of the available colors/patterns on the images in the display, but also the average customer reviews for most items.

You'll have plenty of brands to choose from as well. Yoga Outlet's biggest brands are Balance Collection, Beyond Yoga, Free People, Spiritual Gangster, and Alo Yoga - but you'll have more than 60 others to browse.

Yoga Outlet wants your business. If your order is more than $99, you can choose between free Rush 1-2 Day shipping or a 3% credit on your order. If you find a lower price on an item you order within 24 hours of your purchase, just let them know and they'll refund the difference. And, returns are easy: you'll have 60 days from the date your order shipped to either get a full refund or a store credit - just make sure that your items haven't been worn or washed, tags are intact, and all packaging is included.

Best of all, Yoga Outlet delivers. We found hundreds of reviews from very happy customers: "high-quality apparel", "amazing selection", and "fast shipping" were some of the most common compliments given to this retailer. For all of these reasons, we recommend Yoga Outlet as a great choice for fitness clothing.

The Sports Edit

THE SPORTS EDIT Visit Site

You'll know The Sports Edit is a UK brand as soon as you get to the site - in fact, you may want to start by clicking on the upper left-hand corner to select USD ($) as the currency for all products. Created in 2015, this retailer has its roots in London while still delivering to almost 200 countries. When it comes to fitness clothing, they carry nearly five dozen brands, offering shoppers clothing that blends the best in performance, quality, and style.

Like to keep your look edgy? Trendy? Luxe? Your first stop should be The Edits - you'll find that link towards the top of the page. Here, you'll get the UK's hottest recommendations for your hot yoga class, time on the track, or just running errands.

If you have a preferred fitness clothing brand, The Sports Edit aims to please. Some of their current brands include "traditional" favorites like Adidas, Asics, and Under Armour; you'll also find selections from Manduka, B Yoga, S'Well, Veja, Free People Movement, On Running, Salt, Spiritual Gangster, and many others.

But, if you care less about the brand and more about the function, The Sports Edit's website makes it easy to quickly find what you want. Select Womenswear or Menswear, and then shop by Activity (Run, Train, Yoga/Pilates, or To & From, for example) or Category, such as Bottoms, Tops, Trainers, and Accessories. You can also scroll down and get a feel for the retailers new and best-selling items, depending on if you'd rather be setting the trend or getting in on it.

At the time of our review, The Sports Edit had no warehouses in the U.S. This affects your shipping/delivery times, so plan accordingly. Also, this also impacts your ability to return any products that don't fit like you'd hoped: you only have 28 days from the date of purchase to make a return for a refund, and the cost of any return shipping is on you. That might be a tight timeframe if your order takes a while to arrive and then to be received again by The Sports Edit in the UK.

Expect shipping to cost about $20 (13.95 British pounds) if your order is $250 or less. That comes with a delivery time of 7-10 business days, so again, keep an eye on that return window. It may be worth it to pay for Express US shipping (1-3 business days) for an extra $2, give or take based on the current exchange rate.

Our overall impression of The Sports Edit is that they're the name to know if you live in the UK. Their brand and product range are amazing, and customers report getting great customer service when something isn't as expected. The only drawback is that, for US customers, that tight timing for shipping and returns? You might say that it chafes a little.

When you shop for fitness clothes in person, you can encounter a lot of frustration. Will they have the size you need? The color you want? The style that everyone is wearing - or the one that will make you the first in the class to have it? Many times, the answer to all of those questions is "no".

For exactly that reason, online purchases of fitness clothing are on the rise. Why spend hours looking for the perfect leggings and tank tops when all it takes is the click of a mouse? Even for brands that can be found in big-box retail stores, they often make their best selection available through their online stores, with size/color/style options that may not even be sold in brick-and-mortar locations.

So, how do you choose the right online store for your next purchase of workout clothing? There are several factors to consider, including the following:

  • Selection. How many brands does the store carry? Or, if it's the online store of a well-known brand, do they have much more than what's available in local retail locations? Can you find products for men, women, and children? Are there a range of sizes?
  • Return Policy. If your order arrives and something doesn't fit, can it be returned? How many days do you have to initiate the process? Does the clothing have to be unworn/unused, or can you try it out first?
  • Reputation. What do previous customers have to say about the quality of the clothing and the expertise of the customer service representatives? Do orders arrive on time?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best fitness clothing available today. We hope this information helps you find the right fitness clothes and gear for your next workout!
