Get Your Fitness Clothing at Nike Today! Who has the best fitness clothing? For every athletic activity, there's apparel to match. If you're a runner, you want the right running clothes that will keep you dry and comfortable. If you're a yoga-lover, you need tops and bottoms that allow your flexibility to shine through.

In fact, fitness clothing may be one of the most important components of having a successful exercise plan, aside from the activity itself. Workout clothes run the gamut, from tried-and-true, name-brand labels to boutique brands designed to give wearers a unique look at the gym. Whatever your fitness style may be, going out shopping for the clothing can be an aggravating experience.

Gymshark is a UK-based fitness apparel and accessories brand, originally created by a teenager in 2012 and now followed by more than 5 million people on social media. This retailer carries product lines strictly from their own brand. That's a plus if you're looking specifically for one of their unique styles, but may not be ideal if you're hoping to have a variety of brands to choose from.

What does Gymshark carry? Here's an idea of what's in their inventory of fitness clothing:

  • Men's - Base Layers, Bottoms, Hoodies/Jackets, Shorts, Swimwear, Stringers, Tanks, T-Shirts/Tops, Underwear/Socks
  • Women's - Bottoms/Leggings, Hoodies/Jackets, Shorts, Sports Bras, T-Shirts/Tops, Underwear/Socks
  • Accessories - Water bottles, Hats, Phone Cases, Sweat Towels, and more

Because this is a brand you're not likely to encounter on the racks at your local store, we recommend that you use the size guide on the Gymshark website, especially if you're shopping for women's leggings. For instance, the High Waisted Seamless Leggings are "designed with a high-waisted and body contouring fit", while the Flex Leggings are low-waisted and may fit somewhat smaller than anticipated.

You may also find it helpful to read the comments on the Gymshark website, even on their blog. We found many real-world pointers from people, comparing how the different types of leggings fit, which materials were more form-fitting, and suggestions for which clothing would be best for different uses and body shapes.

When it comes to returns, here's the bad news: you'll have to send your items back to the UK. The good news? Returns from the USA are free; Gymshark covers the return postage. You'll have 30 days to initiate your return from the date your package was delivered.

That return policy may be important: many of the reviews we found said that Gymshark bottoms in particular have ripped easily, or have been see-through to the point of being embarrassing. Gymshark customer service representatives get points for responding quickly to replace and/or refund any purchases; you'll see them answering posts on social media extremely fast, showing their commitment to their customers.

Gymshark does have a wide range of fitness clothing to choose from, and their approach to their customers is on point. But, with only one brand to choose from and having to wait on delivery/returns from the UK, we think many shoppers in the US will be more likely to choose a brand they already know - or a retailer that's a little closer to home.

Continued from above

When you shop for fitness clothes in person, you can encounter a lot of frustration. Will they have the size you need? The color you want? The style that everyone is wearing - or the one that will make you the first in the class to have it? Many times, the answer to all of those questions is "no".

For exactly that reason, online purchases of fitness clothing are on the rise. Why spend hours looking for the perfect leggings and tank tops when all it takes is the click of a mouse? Even for brands that can be found in big-box retail stores, they often make their best selection available through their online stores, with size/color/style options that may not even be sold in brick-and-mortar locations.

So, how do you choose the right online store for your next purchase of workout clothing? There are several factors to consider, including the following:

  • Selection. How many brands does the store carry? Or, if it's the online store of a well-known brand, do they have much more than what's available in local retail locations? Can you find products for men, women, and children? Are there a range of sizes?
  • Return Policy. If your order arrives and something doesn't fit, can it be returned? How many days do you have to initiate the process? Does the clothing have to be unworn/unused, or can you try it out first?
  • Reputation. What do previous customers have to say about the quality of the clothing and the expertise of the customer service representatives? Do orders arrive on time?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best fitness clothing available today. We hope this information helps you find the right fitness clothes and gear for your next workout!
