Return Policy:

Returns accepted for unused products only and incur a restocking fee ranging from 10 to 20 percent of the cost of the order.

Fast Floors sells a very large variety of name-brand flooring products ranging from hardwood floorings, carpeting, bamboo floors and tile and stone flooring. Of all the sites reviewed they offer one of the most extensive product and brand selections.

For all product types, the web site lists three tab selections for their top sellers, clearance buys and an advance search tool that allows you to do a specific search by manufacturer, color, price and several specific feature options. With such a huge variety of product and brand offerings, this feature really helps to narrow your search in order to make an educated decision. The web site lists the various product categories both down the left side and across the top for easy identification and navigation. Their pricing was competitive with other sites.

Shipping costs vary by product and location but the site utilizes what they call Floor Cart Shopping System to help customers get shipping rate quotes. Occasionally, they do offer free shipping promotions but even when they do, the minimum order is $1,200.

Returns are allowed if you find you ordered more flooring product then you need. However, the box must be unopened and a minimum of four cartons must be returned. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs as well as any applicable restocking fees which ranges from 10 to 25 percent of the order costs. So, suffice to say, while a little leftover is sensible, be careful not to order too much product.

The variety of flooring at Fast Floors was excellent and the search tool allowed us to shop with ease. We were not excited about the return policy should you not like what you've selected.

Return Policy:

Must be done within 14 days of ordering and incur a 25 percent restocking charge.

Simple Floors sells flooring products online, made of some of the most common materials used today. These include floors made from hardwood, bamboo, laminate and cork. Unlike other sites reviewed, they do not sell any carpeting, vinyl or stone products. Additionally, the brands they offer are very limited, especially compared to other competitors.

Their website is very basic and is not very intuitive or interactive. We found it hard to navigate around on to find even the most basic information.

Their prices are low compared to others but this is most likely because they offer cheaper brands and less of the better known national brand names.

They are currently offering a 50 percent discount on shipping costs for orders of $1,200 or more. This discount includes shipping to either a home, business, job site or one of 500 designated nationwide pick up freight terminals. Most deliveries are made with 7-10 days from the time of order placement. Returning items carries a non-negotiable 25 percent restocking fee and must be in unopened cartons, in perfect condition and received within 14 days from the date on the original receipt. There is a five carton minimum on all returns.

Overall, given the limited selections available on their web site, especially compared to more highly rated companies, Simple Floors scores lower then companies that offer much more intuitive and interesting web sites and a much larger product and brand selection. We recommend you shop a higher ranked provider.
