TopConsumerReviews.com Best-In-Class Blue Ribbon Award Wayfair sells a huge number of flooring products made from materials such as hardwood, vinyl, carpet, bamboo, cork, tile and stone. They offer 33 different brand name manufacturers to give you the largest selection possible.

The Wayfair website is very pleasing to the eye and easy to use. They offer an excellent navigational facility that lets you search their vast array of flooring products by selecting up to 16 different criteria. This enables you to easily search flooring items as broadly or as specifically as you would like.

Wayfair's pricing is extremely competitive as compared to others flooring companies reviewed. It's significantly lower then the big retail outlets located throughout the country. For orders over $250 they offer a billing option where you can take up to six months to pay in full and not pay any interest.

Wayfair's return policy is one of the best we've found among online flooring product vendors. They'll accept returns for any reason, and in most cases they provide a full refund of your purchase price. If a flooring product is damaged upon delivery, they will replace it as quickly as possible.

Wayfair utilizes FedEx, UPS and the US Post Office for shipping of smaller product items. Large shipments, like carpeting and flooring, cannot be shipped through these companies and are shipped instead via freight truck lines.

With such an enormous variety of flooring products, competitive pricing, and a customer-friendly refund policy, Wayfair earns our highest rating.

Return Policy:

Must be done within 14 days of ordering and incur a 25 percent restocking charge.

Simple Floors sells flooring products online, made of some of the most common materials used today. These include floors made from hardwood, bamboo, laminate and cork. Unlike other sites reviewed, they do not sell any carpeting, vinyl or stone products. Additionally, the brands they offer are very limited, especially compared to other competitors.

Their website is very basic and is not very intuitive or interactive. We found it hard to navigate around on to find even the most basic information.

Their prices are low compared to others but this is most likely because they offer cheaper brands and less of the better known national brand names.

They are currently offering a 50 percent discount on shipping costs for orders of $1,200 or more. This discount includes shipping to either a home, business, job site or one of 500 designated nationwide pick up freight terminals. Most deliveries are made with 7-10 days from the time of order placement. Returning items carries a non-negotiable 25 percent restocking fee and must be in unopened cartons, in perfect condition and received within 14 days from the date on the original receipt. There is a five carton minimum on all returns.

Overall, given the limited selections available on their web site, especially compared to more highly rated companies, Simple Floors scores lower then companies that offer much more intuitive and interesting web sites and a much larger product and brand selection. We recommend you shop a higher ranked provider.
