Get Your Foam Mattress at Leesa Today! Foam Mattresses are the latest trend in the mattress industry. A few years ago consumers were able to choose between one or two foam mattress brands - but now, several companies compete in the memory foam mattress business.

Adults are attracted to both the comfort and support that a well-made foam mattress provides, especially over the standard spring mattress. Many people that have complained of back pain for years are now finding relief from simply buying a new mattress made of foam. The design of foam mattresses eliminates the pressure points that can cause body pain and restless sleep.

Nature's Sleep

NATURE'S SLEEP Visit Site

Cost:

From $649 to $3,950

Nature's Sleep is a manufacturer of foam mattresses and other related products whose mission is to provide consumers with a better night's sleep at affordable prices. Nature's sleep also has a strong commitment to the environment, constantly designing and re-engineer their products and processes to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and minimize their carbon footprint. They use renewable resources in their products that return naturally to the earth.

Also, most of Nature's Sleep products are anti-microbial, anti-dust mite, anti-bacterial and allergen-resistant which is ideal for the 60 million Americans who crave allergy relief. Nature's Sleep foam mattresses are made exclusively with memory foams that have been independently certified as safe for both people and the environment by CertiPUR-US laboratories. CertiPUR-US certified foams meet strict guidelines for performance, content, indoor emissions and environmental impact.

CertiPUR-US approved means:

  • Low emissions for better indoor air quality
  • No prohibited phthalates
  • No ozone depleters (CFCs)
  • No mercury, lead or heavy metals
  • No formaldehyde
  • No PBDE flame retardants

There is a huge selection of memory foam mattress on the easy to navigate Nature's Sleep website. Base model mattresses start at $649 for a twin and go all the way up to $3,950 for a king size. There are 13 different models to choose from, each with varying features and specifications, so there are plenty of selections to choose from to get the perfect mattress for each consumer. There are literally thousands of reviews on the Nature's Sleep website, in fact they dedicate an entire section of the website to their product reviews. The overwhelming majority of the product reviews were very positive, citing things like firmness around the edges, reduction of back pain and even the coolness of the product during sleep.

Nature's Sleep offers free shipping on all products and also a 20-year limited warrantee. There is also a return policy if the product is unopened, but they charge a 20% restocking fee for this service. This was pretty much the only negative we could find with Nature's Sleep. Otherwise with a large selection, commitment to the environment and excellent consumer reviews, we strongly recommend giving Nature's Sleep serious consideration for anyone seeking a memory foam mattress.

Nectar

NECTAR Visit Site

Cost:

From $524 to $1,024

Nectar entered the race for "best foam mattress" back in 2016, offering some advantages over many of their competitors:

  • 365-night trial: nap, sleep, and hang out on your bed for up to a calendar year. If you're not satisfied, you can get a full refund.
  • "Forever Warranty": the mattress is covered for as long as you own it
  • Free shipping and returns
  • Unique construction: several types of CertiPUR-US Certified foam (quilted gel memory, adaptive hi-core memory, etc.), cooling cover

Nectar is also more affordably priced than many of the other foam mattresses on the market. At the time of our most recent review, there was a promotion in place that offered $125 off any mattress purchase, making it possible to get a twin for just $399 and a king for $899. Shipping is always free.

So, now that Nectar has had a few years to prove themselves, how do they measure up when it comes to actual customer experiences? Reviews are mixed. Looking at the 5000+ comments on the Nectar site itself, most people are very satisfied: 4.8 stars out of 5, on average. The most positive reviews say that their Nectar mattress delivered a better night's sleep than they ever thought possible, even after many months (and even years) of use especially for people who prefer the "just right" medium firm support that Nectar foam mattresses offer.

We also appreciate that they've expanded their available methods of contacting the company; we were able to reach company reps almost immediately when using the toll-free number and the live chat, both of which are available 7 days a week from 6A-9P PST.

However, despite these improvements, Nectar still seems to have an Achilles' heel when it comes to customer service. Since our last review, the company earned a rating with the Better Business Bureau: a less-than-impressive "B-", with more than 200 closed complaints over the last year alone. The most frequent issue? Delivery. While every mattress says that it will ship within 5-7 business days, actual delivery times can take as long as a month. When some customers reach out to Nectar for updates, they get conflicting information: "it's on the way", "it'll be shipped in a few days", and even "we're not sure when it will ship". Unfortunately, your credit card will be charged as soon as you place the order, no matter how long it takes for your mattress to arrive.

Another common delivery problem is that the mattress and optional foundation are often shipped separately, leaving customers with just the mattress and nothing to put it on.

We also found more than a few complaints that returning the mattress is not as easy as Nectar advertises, especially when trying to make a claim using the "forever warranty".

In short, the Nectar mattress may give you a comfortable night's sleep, once it actually arrives. We're glad to see that the company has made progress with their customer service availability, and their mattresses do have quite a few happy sleepers. However, we'd like to see further improvements in the company's BBB rating and overall customer experience in order to consider Nectar more competitive with other foam mattresses on the market.

Continued from above

With a number of new companies entering the foam mattress market, it's important to know what to look for when shopping for a foam mattress. Before you make the move to purchase a foam mattress, you should consider the following:

  • Cost.  What is the price range for the foam mattresses offered?
  • Customer Feedback.  What are customers saying about their experiences with the foam mattresses and the company's they bought them from?
  • Return Policy.  In the event you're not satisfied with your purchase, does the company enable you to return the foam mattress for a full refund?
  • Guarantee.  If your foam mattress breaks or disappoints you in a few years, is it still covered under warranty? For how long?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Foam Mattresses available today. We hope these reviews help you find that perfect night's sleep right away!
