From $69.95 to $399.95

Pittman & Davis have solidified themselves as a strong contender in the fruit business since the 1920s. For almost 100 years, the company has remained family-owned, giving the organization a feel of family-friendly values, including commitment, loyalty, and dedication. They've accumulated thousands of reviews throughout their history, and these largely reflect a quality product that inspires loyal customers.

Pittman & Davis offer primarily 6 different fruit month clubs, half of which are referred to as the "Lite" club option, delivering fruit for single-recipient sized households. The consumer may then pick from a 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month, duration of deliveries. They offer an impressive range of fruits, with the Ruby Red Grapefruit hailed as a fan favorite. Additionally, they offer 9 different "Citrus Supply Club" options, which deliver a mix between oranges and grapefruits in varying sizes (up to 42lbs of fruit). The prices for the Citrus Supply Club vary between a wider window from $19.99 - $69.99, and only one delivery can be purchased at a time.

Qualities we appreciate from Pittman & Davis includes their impressive ability to stay relevant in an ever-changing market, competitive prices, free standard shipping, guaranteed refunds if unsatisfied, and the ability to "skip a month" if desired. We did find some concerns however, as a few customers noted the delivery of rotten fruit, and complained of poor customer service. Unfortunately, such reviews directly contrast the very values Pittman & Davis claim to stand for. When compared with the amount of reviews overall, which on average reflected highly pleased customers, the number of complaints was small but significant enough to give pause.

Overall, Pittman & Davis presents as an okay option for customers that is more budget-friendly than most fruit clubs reviewed on our list. Pittman & Davis appeals to "home-grown" family values, and has built up an extremely loyal consumer base for over 100 years. For a brand new customer who doesn't have that previous relationship however, it may be worth a higher price to consider one of the other contenders on our list known to provide a more consistent quality. Pittman & Davis are a good option to consider if you're shopping for fruit clubs on a budget; but without financial constraints, it's worthwhile to check out our other options.

Many of these companies use only the freshest fruit and some even deliver straight from the orchard. However, some fruit clubs have less involvement with the growth and preparation of the fruit they deliver.

When looking for the best fruit club provider, you need to consider a number of important factors before making your decision. These include:

  • Club Flexibility. Will you be able to choose the fruit club length and frequency that meets your needs and fits into your budget?
  • Cost. How does the fruit club cost compare with other fruit clubs? How much fruit is included in each delivery?
  • Shipping. What shipping charges are included if any with each fruit club you consider? has reviewed and ranked the best Fruit Clubs available today. We hope these reviews help you find the best fruit club for your gift giving needs!
