Best HGH Supplements

What's the best HGH Supplement? HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is naturally produced by the pituitary gland in our bodies and secreted into our bloodstream. Hundreds of clinical studies have shown this hormone to fight the dreaded aging process by regulating metabolism, stimulating muscle and bone growth, improving heart function, boosting sexual function, and regulating overall body composition.

As we age, HGH naturally decreases in our bodies (as much as 12-15% each decade after turning 30), causing some age-related bodily deterioration. The decrease in HGH over time is manifested as a slower ability to heal from injuries, a harder time losing weight, loss of energy, and so on. To combat the decrease of HGH, the hormone can be supplemented in the body. This can be done through injections, ingesting capsules, sprays, or powders.

Cost:

$79.99/bottle with bulk discounts

TopConsumerReviews.com Best-In-Class Blue Ribbon Award GHR1000 is one of your safest bets as far as health supplements to combat the aging process. With only 12 natural ingredients, they aren't concerned about keeping their formula a secret. GHR1000 has transparently labeled their ingredients - unlike some of their competitors - since there is less to be concerned about as far as side effects and conflicts with other medications.

Their list of ingredients includes:

  • Vitamin B6 USP (50 mg) - Significant for protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters.
  • L-Arginine HCI (500 mg) - Relaxes blood vessels and improves circulation. May also help with erectile dysfunction.
  • L-Glutamine (400 mg) - Used for energy production. It boosts immune cell activity in the gut, helps prevent inflammation, and soothes intestinal tissue.
  • L-Isoleucine (150 mg) - Assists in repairing and rebuilding muscle.
  • L-Leucine (500 mg) - Stimulates muscle protein synthesis and plays a major role in anabolic (tissue building) reactions.
  • L-Lysine (300) - Reduces anxiety, increases calcium absorption, and creates collagen to promote wound healing.
  • L-Omilthine HCL (100 mg) - Used for improving athletic performance and aids in wound healing.
  • L-Valine (150 mg) - Promotes muscle growth and tissue repair.
  • GABA (200 mg) - Enhances neurotransmission, improves sleep cycles, and improves the nervous system.
  • Glycine (50 mg) - Makes important proteins and enzymes. It is needed for the growth and maintenance of tissue.
  • Tribulus Terrestris (150 mg) - Enhances libido, keeps urinary tract healthy, and increases muscle mass.
  • Colostrum (100 mg) - Fights disease causing bacteria and viruses.

Each bottle contains 90 capsules. They suggest taking 3 capsules/day, so each bottle will last you approximately 30 days. The cost per bottle is $79.99, but the more you buy at once, the cheaper the price. To buy 12 bottles (or a one-year supply), the cost is $479.94 with free shipping. They even ensure discreet shipping in plain packaging for you to maintain your privacy. If you are unhappy with the results from using GHR1000, they will work with you to process a full refund.

The GHR1000 website has lots of unsolicited testimonials from satisfied customers who have used the product. On other third-party sites, customers have reported that GHR1000 is the closest, least expensive alternative to HGH injections and that they have seen positive results by using this product. With organic ingredients and added herbs and vitamins, GHR1000 is our first choice when it comes to HGH supplementation to aid the body in preventing aging and disease.

HGH Energizer

HGH ENERGIZER Visit Site

Cost:

$39.94/bottle with bulk discounts

The HGH Energizer works in connection with a balanced diet and exercise routine to supplement nutrients your body may be lacking. Its goal is to restore your youth vitality and boost overall energy levels. The product goes through comprehensive testing to ensure it meets high quality standards.

HGH Energizer can be purchased in a one, three, or six month supply. A 1 month supply is priced at $39.95, which is almost half the price of its GHR1000 competition. A 3 month supply can be purchased for $79.95 and a 6 month supply costs $119.95. Part of the reason pricing for this product may be on the lower end is because when reviewing the ingredients, we found they are similar to another product we evaluated, the GHR1000, but come in much lower doses. To get the same dosage, you'd need to take additional capsules which would cost more money and may not be recommended when looking at the product as a whole.

One bottle of HGH Energizer lasts about a month, but exact doses are found on the bottle once it is shipped to you. The capsules should be taken with a meal and you can expect to see results within a month or two. The longer the regimen, the more likely you are to see desirable outcomes. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, a money-back guarantee is in place for you to return any unused or unopened items within ninety days for a refund of the purchase price.

In addition to the 12 similar ingredients found in GHR1000, HGH Energizer also has a list of additional non-active ingredients that includes things like citric acid, fructose, starch, talc, sucralose, silicon dioxide, and so on. These are not all organic ingredients. Still, with the competitive pricing and generous refund policy, HGH Energizer is worth consideration for your HGH supplement.

GenF20 Plus

GENF20 PLUS Visit Site

Cost:

$82.99/bottle with bulk discounts

GenF20 Plus is a combination supplement consisting of an oral spray taken six times each day alongside two capsules. The price for this product seems comparable to the other HGH supplements we considered. The spray and tablets are typically purchased together, but can be purchased separately if desired. A one-month purchase can be made for $82.99 or you can pay for as much as a 6-month purchase initially at $399.99.

There are no known side-effects of taking GenF20, but there is also no clinical proof of its effectiveness. The claims made for this supplement are based off of customer feedback and naturopathic research. They suggest taking the spray and supplements for at least 3 months to see the full effects, but some people report feeling better in as little as 2-3 weeks. This is a product meant for long-term use and they warn that if you stop taking the supplement, HGH levels will decrease.

Looking at the ingredient information, we found that they skirted having to fully disclose the ingredients of the spray by saying "it has been formulated to include a complementary blend of amino acid compounds and botanical agents including the clinically proven HGH booster ‘Alpha GPC."' They then go on to list the benefits of Alpha GPC and a few other HGH booster ingredients, but they withhold the full ingredient list. For the tablets, 16 ingredients are listed with an explanation of the benefits for each ingredient. It is unclear, however, if this is a full ingredient list.

A 67-day return guarantee is in place for anyone wanting to return their products. They require you send back up to two empty kits and then any additional unused and unopened kits as well. This does not allow customers to try GenF20 for the full 3 months like they recommend, but could be beneficial for any customers experiencing buyer's remorse.

A list of testimonials can be found on the website, but we wish that customers were able to leave public reviews for GenF20 to give more reliable feedback about how effective this product really is. There is also a "Medical Proof" section of the site that has reviews from three different doctors as well as quotes from journals about the power of HGH. It should go without saying that reviews by medical personnel and excerpts from journals are not medical proof by any means. The lack of reliable testimonials and failure to fully disclose ingredients in the oral spray are the reasons this supplement did not earn our top rating.

Renuva

RENUVA Visit Site

Cost:

$59.95/container with bulk discounts

Renuva is a clinically tested, orange-flavored drink mix that works with the pituitary gland to support the production of the "youth hormone" to reduce symptoms of aging. Customers are instructed to mix 1 or 2 scoops of Renuva into 4-8 oz. of water on an empty stomach for 5 days a week when they wake up in the morning. After 3-6 months, you can expect to see the full benefits like higher energy levels, deeper sleep, relief from joint pain, less fatigue, and so on.

Each container of Renuva lasts one month. For one container, the cost is $59.95. If you order a 3-month supply, your cost is $119.95, and a 6-month supply is $199.95. Customers qualify for free shipping on their first orders. There is also a monthly auto-ship program where the product is sent to you when your last order is about to run out. This program allows customers to qualify for some additional discounts. The ingredients for this product are listed out on the website with an explanation of what each ingredient does for the body. However, we found that both on the website and the container of Renuva, there is a lack of information about the potency of each ingredient is included in the product.

Most of the ingredients are listed as a "proprietary blend" at 2.48 grams, but individual ingredient quantities are not listed. There are less healthy ingredients that are left off of the website, but that can be found on the container like sucrose, maltodextrin, citric acid, fumaric acid, malic acid, natural orange flavor, and silicon dioxide. One particular ingredient to be aware of is niacin. There haven't been reported side-effects of this product besides people experiencing the "niacin flush": a reaction caused when blood vessels begin to expand. The skin may become red and either burn or itch for about 10-15 minutes.

Renuva was piloted in a clinical study conducted at LSU's Pennington Biomedical Research Center as well as the Center for Nutrition and Preventive Medicine in Charlotte, NC. The website has a link to read this study and the outcomes, but there is an error page instead. As a result, it is inconclusive whether or not they found clinical benefits of this product.

Overall, Renuva seems to get good reviews from customers on third-party sites. Not knowing the potency of the ingredients in the powder makes it hard to know if it is as potent as some of our highest rated HGH products like GHR1000 and the HGH Energizer. It is unlikely that they are as potent, since they aren't willing to list the quantities. They also have more unnatural, sugary ingredients included because this is a drink mix. This isn't a bad product to try, but you might be better off starting with a higher-rated product.

Soma Spray

SOMA SPRAY Visit Site

Cost:

$89.95/bottle with bulk discounts

Soma spray is a 1 oz. bottle of HGH liquid meant to be sprayed under the tongue 2-3 times at night and an additional 2-3 times in the morning for added benefits. It claims to help you feel, look, and perform your best after using it for about 6 months. If you aren't getting your desired results, they offer a risk-free 90-day money back guarantee. However, if it takes 6 months to go into full effect, this 90-day return policy becomes unhelpful to you as a customer.

One of the major selling points they advertise for the Soma spray is that it now includes deer antler velvet. Oh, you don't know what deer antler velvet is? You're not alone. Supposedly if an immature deer is given a local anesthetic to lower their stress levels before removing velvet from their antlers, the result is an insulin-like growth factor, or IGF-1, that can be harvested and used to promote natural lean muscle growth in humans. Other ingredients are hard to identify individually and in specific doses because the ingredients list groups many components together before providing an "amount per serving" number. They do, however, have a few of the natural ingredients found in other products we are reviewing along with a mix of artificial ingredients.

The cost for one bottle of Soma spray is $89.95. It is unspecified how long one bottle lasts. You can also purchase the product in a pack of 3, 6, or 12. There are discounts for buying in bulk. Purchases are eligible for free shipping when you spend over $250. It is only available for purchase through the Soma spray online store and cannot be found through any other sellers. Sometimes discount codes are accessible on this website to give you a better deal on the product.

The overall layout of the website where the Soma spray is sold (as well as HGF Max and Somatroppine) is unprofessional and disorganized. The small font describing the product, benefits, ingredients, and reviews is hard to read and crowded with information. We also identified false claims like being the only HGH product to provide a 90-day return. The product page shows an overall rating of 4.95/5 and 19 customer reviews. When you click on the reviews, you instead find a forum of comments from both customers and potential customers that have nothing to do with actual ratings of the product.

Overall, the Soma spray doesn't seem like the most reliable health supplement. The price is a bit higher than our top HGH products and it is hard to gauge the effectiveness of the Soma spray due to a lack of customer reviews. We suggest going with one of our higher-rated HGH products.

Somatropinne

SOMATROPINNE Visit Site

Cost:

$109.95/box with bulk discounts

Somatropinne is sold through the same website as the Soma spray and HGF Max, therefore it has some of the same downfalls that Soma does. On the pricier side, Somatropinne runs at $109.95/box with discounts available the more you purchase. A year's supply is $799.99 and all orders over $250 qualify for free shipping. It is suggested that beginners start with a 3-month supply of the product. One tablet is supposed to be taken morning and night. Each box comes with 60 tablets, so it lasts about a month.

When looking over the ingredients of these tablets, we noticed there are few ingredients that all seem to have low potency. 250 mg of the tablet is made up of a "proprietary blend" which consists of hawthorn berry (helps regulate blood pressure), horny goat weed (strengthens bones, protects nerves, supports the immune system), mucuna pruriens (elevates mood, boosts libido), and maca (increases fertility, reduces erectile dysfunction, boosts energy, elevates mood). Since this is a blend, you can see that each ingredient comes in small doses. Other ingredients used for preservation and texture include rice flour, maltodextrin, and gelatin. One key ingredient missing from this product is glutamine. This is the most abundant free amino in the body and is commonly found in other HGH products. It is critical in fuelling immune cells, including white blood cells and certain intestinal cells.

Like the Soma spray, Somatropinne comes with a 90-day money back guarantee. 90 days may not be long enough to know for sure if you're seeing effective results, but it's nice to know that returning the tablets is an option.

In the description section of Somatropinne, there is a small print section that clarifies the fact that none of their claims have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is not unusual considering it can take lots of money and sometimes years to be approved by the FDA. What is noteworthy though is the fact that they add, "We do not have any clinical studies backing up our claims". This product is sold in the hopes that the ingredients will perform based on clinical studies where they have been used in other products.

Like the Soma spray and HGF Max, there are 107 reviews for Somatropinne, but instead of finding useful reviews from customers who have used the product, you are linked to a thread of comments and questions from customers and potential customers. This is not an accurate reflection of how well the product performs and that makes it hard to know if the product really does work. We recommend going with a higher-rated product that isn't quite as costly.

HGF Max

HGF MAX Visit Site

Cost:

$116.95/bottle with bulk discounts

HGF Max comes in capsule form (60 per bottle) and is used to increase HGH levels, improve hair, skin, and nails, speed up metabolic processes, increase muscle tone, aid in better sleeping, strengthen focus, and help with fat loss. Consumers are instructed to take 2 pills daily (60 capsules per bottle), but it is not stated how long the listed benefits take to go into effect.

HGF Max is on the pricier end of the HGH produces we are reviewing. For one bottle, you'll pay $116.95, three bottles comes to $233.91, six bottles costs $467.82 and the price for 12 bottles is $899.99. One of the reasons this product might be more expensive is that it appears to have all-natural ingredients. Like some other products, their ingredients (L-Arginine, L-Glutamine, L-Lysine HCI, L-Tyrosine, Astragalus Extract, Deer Antler Velvet, GABA, Phosphatidyl Choline, L-Omithine, and L-Glycine) are listed as one proprietary blend of 1510 mg. Quantities of individual ingredients are not shown. If you find the potency is not strong enough and you aren't gaining your desired results, a 90-day money back guarantee is always available for products on this site.

A link to a blog post is provided to read more details regarding ingredients and health benefits, but it redirects to a blank product page. A list of 19 benefits is listed in the product description alongside a percentage for each one (such as healing of other injuries: 61%, exercise tolerance: 81%, skin thickness: 68%). It is unspecified what each percentage means or what they are adding up to. There are also plenty of spelling errors throughout the product description, which is a red flag considering how much money this company is wanting you to spend on their product.

The overall ranking shown on the product page of HGF Max is a 5/5. It is unclear where the star ratings come from since the reviews take you to a forum of comments and questions that are unrelated to star rankings. In small print, customers are again informed that this product is not FDA approved and has not been through clinical studies to back the claims listed. Because it is hard to feel sure of the reliability of HGF Max before spending money on the product, we strongly recommend that you go with one of the more reputable HGH supplements in our review.

Continued from above

Since the FDA still has tight control over HGH injections, alternative products are cheaper and easier to access. Studies have indicated that doing an HGH supplement regimen can reverse the effects of aging by 10-20 years. These supplements are shown to improve sleep, increase muscle mass, lower cholesterol, increase energy, decrease body fat, enhance sexual performance, increase hair growth, and more. Sounds like magic, right?

Not all HGH products are created equal. Some can prove harmful if taken in too high of doses or may produce negative side-effects. HGH is also not recommended for people below 21 years of age, pregnant women, or those who have or have had cancer. It seems like the obvious thing to do, besides using the best product as directed, is to pair it with exercise and healthy eating for the best results.

Before diving into the world of HGH supplements, we suggest you take the following things into consideration:

  • Ingredients. Is the product synthetic or natural? Do any of the ingredients conflict with medications you are currently taking? Do people report side effects?
  • Price. If you want longevity and great health results, it will come at a price. Keep in mind that some companies suggest using their product for at least 6 months before seeing results, so you'll be buying more than one bottle.
  • Guarantee. What if you use this product for the recommended amount of time and see no results? Money-back guarantees for expensive health supplements are a good perk if your chosen product comes with one.

To help you identify the best HGH products on the market, TopConsumerReviews.com has listed a variety of products and done the research for you. We hope this helps you find the right HGH supplement for your needs!

The Remarkable Benefits of HGH (Human Growth Hormone)

Over the past five decades, scientists have conducted much research on the benefits of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). Many studies have shown that HGH can not only help children, but also AIDs victims and those suffering from age-related ailments, to name a few. Remarkable benefits are still being discovered as various clinical trials using HGH continue today.

HGH is vital for normal growth and development in children. Without appropriate levels, children suffer growth deficiencies and other problems. Luckily, HGH injections help these children regain growth and development at normal levels. HGH also helps children with kidney disease, Turner's syndrome (a genetic growth condition), and Prader-Willi syndrome (a genetic disorder affecting stature and learning).

After the initial use of HGH in children to handle growth deficiencies, it has been used in a number of clinical studies to help individuals suffering age-related ailments. As we age, the HGH levels in our bodies naturally decrease, starting at around age 20. At age 60, most of us will have approximately 80% less growth hormone in our systems than at age 20. Many scientists believe this reduction in HGH is the cause for various signs of aging, such as increased body fat, increased anxiety, poor health, lack of positive outlook and social isolation.

Incredibly, HGH has demonstrated the ability to slow the aging process and, in some instances, reverse it. In fact, HGH reportedly provides the following benefits for aging adults: decreased wrinkles and sagging skin, weight loss, increased muscle mass, improved sexual desire and performance, increased physical strength, faster healing from surgery or injuries, increased bone mineral density, diminished chronic pain, more restful sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, and a stronger immune system. HGH helps adults in other ways as well. It can improve stamina during exercise, decrease recovery time between workouts, increase energy levels, improve blood flow to the kidneys, strengthen the heart's ability to contract, and improve the overall mood and ability to cope.

It's no wonder that the interest in HGH continues to rise—the benefits are staggering. Unfortunately, so is the price. Synthetic human growth hormone is available via injection by prescription only and is not readily available for the average, aging adult who just wants to look and feel younger. However, a myriad of oral sprays, powders and capsules are available on the market today at reasonable prices, most of which claim to stimulate the natural production of HGH.

To maximize results of supplemental HGH, some scientists recommend that you also take 2-3 mg. of melatonin, 25 mg of DHEA, and 15+ mg of Zinc, eat a healthy diet, exercise, and practice positive affirmations. But before choosing a supplement that's right for you, be sure to get all the facts and read the product reviews readily available online.
