LACROSSE MONKEY

Lacrosse Monkey is an easy website to navigate, large selection of lacrosse equipment, and very competitive prices. This online retail website is an offshoot from its parent company, Monkeysports, which operates a website and a large retail superstore in Corona, California that sells equipment and apparel for several different sports.

Lacrosse Monkey sells all types of lacrosse equipment, with a huge selection of all major brands of lacrosse sticks, helmets, pads, shoes and other lacrosse accessories. Also available is a large variety of lacrosse coaching tools and aids, including lacrosse goals and other field accessories. If you can't find what you're looking for at Lacrosse Monkey, they probably don't make it.

We were very impressed with Lacrosse Monkey's pricing. Comparing the costs of several most common products such as lacrosse sticks, helmets and gloves, Lacrosse Monkey's prices were about 10 percent lower then the other lacrosse equipment stores we reviewed.

If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, Lacrosse Monkey accepts returns and full refunds are given if the item is returned within 30 days of the purchase. For lacrosse sticks and other lacrosse equipment, normal manufacturer warranties apply. Special orders, team orders, and other special accommodations are not returnable. Their customer service department can be contacted via a toll-free number Monday through Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 6:30am to 3:00pm pst. They accept all major credit cards.

Lacrosse Monkey offers a huge selection of lacrosse equipment from all the major brands. Their website is very easy to use and prices are impressively low. If you're looking for affordable, top quality Lacrosse equipment from a reputable online store, Lacrosse Monkey should be your first stop. They earn our highest rating.

LACROSSE

Lacrosse is an online retail seller of a wide variety of lacrosse equipment, accessories and apparel. The site is owned by the Great Atlantic Lacrosse Company in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Their website allows you to search not just by product but also by player position, brand and team. All major lacrosse brands and manufacturers of lacrosse equipment are available for sale.

Besides the basics of lacrosse sticks, gloves, helmets, pads and shoes, they also sell a wide variety of lacrosse accessories and related equipment. This includes coaching accessories such as field marking supplies, backstops, benches, lacrosse goals and nets, videos and first aid kits. They even sell metal bleachers. Additionally, they offer a good selection of clothing and apparel.

Their pricing is in line with other online lacrosse sellers. To receive a 10 percent discount on most items you have the option to join Club LAX for a one-time lifetime membership price of $24.95. So, if you plan to order more frequently from this store, this is a deal worth considering. However, if you are just in the market for an occasional item, it's probably not worth it. An overall price comparison with the other sites reviewed showed that in nearly every case, the Club LAX price was in line with the average price on other sites.

Club members earn points that can be used for future discounts; receive special offers, and get a free 3-issue membership to Inside Lacrosse magazine. Membership also includes an unconditional risk-free guarantee stating that if you do not save at least the $24.95 cost of your membership over the initial two-year period then you'll receive a full refund. Doing simple math, if you plan to order at least $250 worth of products from them over a two-year period then joining Club LAX is likely worth the initial cost. Otherwise, it will likely just result in additional advertising ending up in your email inbox.

Lacrosse offers full refunds and exchanges on all lacrosse items sold, with the exception of custom orders. To qualify, you must return the item to their warehouse in North Carolina within 30 days of receipt. They also provide team sales such as lacrosse equipment and supplies sold in bulk and team uniforms. They can be contacted via a toll-free customer service number or via email.

Lacrosse had a lot of bells and whistles and a nice selection of lacrosse equipment, but we were not as impressed with their pricing. We felt the Club LAX pricing was too similar to the higher ranked suppliers and wasn't necessarily worth the cost to join.

1 LACROSSE

1 Lacrosse specializes and sells custom-made lacrosse stick shafts. They also sell several other lacrosse stick accessories such as string and mesh for the heads, tape and end caps. Unlike the other sites reviewed, they sell nothing else.

The company is geared solely to team sales in that the minimum order is either 15 or 24, depending on the type of lacrosse stick you need the shaft for (attack, goalie or defense). You are able to pick and choose from a large variety of colors and designs by simply going to the design gallery and color tabs on the site.

The lacrosse shafts are titanium-enhanced aerospace alloy. You cannot actually order the shafts from their website but instead you must call their toll-free phone number, send an e-mail message or visit one of their authorized dealers around the country. There is a list of these dealers organized by state on their web site. Orders take 4-6 weeks for delivery and they do accept returns on any unused shafts if the returns are be made within 30 days of receipt.

The very limited number of lacrosse stick accessories are the only items that can be ordered directly from their web site. They accept VISA, Master Card, Discover and American Express for payment.

The other lacrosse equipment stores in our review are full-service supply retail outlets for the sport of lacrosse. This company manufactures and sells a very specialized, niche lacrosse product. If you are a coach or athletic director and have the extra dollars to spend, these lacrosse shafts are a unique way to brand your team - but for the average shopper this website will not meet your lacrosse needs.

Lacrosse Equipment

Lacrosse sticks, helmets, goals, and nets are necessities for new or seasoned lacrosse players. However, most towns and cities provide very little selection for your lacrosse equipment needs.

Generally you can expect to find only 1 or 2 lacrosse brands - if you're lucky enough to have a large sporting goods retailer in your local area. However, there are a few online lacrosse equipment stores that offer a wealth of quality lacrosse equipment from a large selection of brands and at competitive prices.

Online Lacrosse stores allow you the opportunity to get exactly what you need quickly, and usually at significant cost savings than what you could find in a local lacrosse store.

But not all lacrosse equipment retailers are created equal. You should consider the following items before making your next lacrosse purchase:

  • Selection. Does the company provide a wide range of brands in all the lacrosse equipment required for most players?
  • Cost. How do the lacrosse equipment prices compare to the competition? Will you get the best value for your money?
  • Return Policy. If the lacrosse equipment doesn't arrive as selected and promised, can you receive your money back?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best lacrosse equipment stores available today. We hope these reviews help you find the best lacrosse equipment to meet your needs!
