Prepare For Your Next LSAT Exam with Magoosh Today! Where is the best place to find LSAT Test Prep online? The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is one of the most important tests for students hoping to have a career as a lawyer. The test has existed in some form since 1948 as a way for law schools to assess their candidate's academic status.

Not only is it a pain to retake the LSAT if you don't get a satisfactory score, but it will end up costing about $200 per time, not including the price of sending scores to different law schools. The costs and time add up - it makes sense to study hard and just do well the first time around.

Cost:

From $19.99 to $999

LSATMax is operated by the company TestMax Inc, which was founded in 2010. In addition to test prep materials for the LSAT, they also have a platform for students studying for the GRE and Bar exam. Their study services can be used either on a mobile app or web browser. The app is a free download found either through the App Store or Google Play. This conveniently allows students to study on-the-go wherever they are, whenever they have time.

Study on the go

The features on the mobile LSATMax platform include thousands of LSAT questions, full prep tests, hundreds of hours of video lectures, message board access, instructor support, textbooks, and study analytics. The app is broken into four sections: logical reasoning, logic games, reading comp, and prep tests. Within each category are sub-categories that include games, reading passages, and video instruction on a variety of topics.

3 LSAT course membership plans

There are only a few study sections of the app that are free. Any given section can be purchased individually for as low as $19.99. If a student wants access to an entire lifetime course membership, the following options are available:

  • Basic: $599 includes 3,200 of 9,000 LSAT questions, 7 prep tests, and 100+ hours of video.
  • Pro: $799 includes 6,200 of 9,000 LSAT questions, 20 prep tests, 100+ hours of video, 4 textbooks, and a higher score guarantee.
  • Premium: $999 includes all 9,000 LSAT questions, 90 prep tests, 100+ hours of video, 4 textbooks, and a higher score guarantee.

Simple, affordable app

We were not surprised to see that TestMax Inc. receives an A+ from the Better Business Bureau. The LSATMax prep app has 4.8/5 stars in the app store with feedback from thousands of users. Students are enthusiastic about the effectiveness of such a simple, affordable app. Some say that the video lectures are as good as in-person courses, the concepts are clearly explained, and significant improvements are made by students after using the study tools.

Good choice

This app definitely comes at a considerable cost, but seems to be an effective and convenient way to study for the LSAT. The thousands of LSAT questions, prep tests, text books, and other features can definitely help a student get well-prepared for the LSAT. If you are able and willing to pay for the full course, or the most important sections for your studies, you should get all of the LSAT test prep materials you need from LSATMax.

Continued from above

The LSAT test is an integral part of law school admissions processes in the United States, Canada, and Australia. It's administered 7 different times throughout the year. The test is 3 hours and 30 minutes long, broken into six sections including multiple choice, an unscored experimental section, and an unscored writing section.

The raw scores are converted into a total score between 120 and 180. When a student applies to law school, either the highest of their test scores (if they have taken the LSAT multiple times) is reported or an average of their scores.

For students hoping to get into specific schools and programs, the LSAT is a big deal and taken very seriously. A student's LSAT score is a big determining factor in their future, so there is no question as to whether or not a lot of studying should be done beforehand.

Thankfully there are a few high-quality LSAT test prep sites that students can take advantage of. Some offer full-length practice tests, practice questions, one-on-one tutoring, video lectures, and more. There is so much material out there that a student can easily find a program that works for them and achieve a score that opens many educational opportunities. Although the test prep platforms aren't usually free, it will be worth the cost to feel confident on test day and skip the hassle of taking the LSAT over and over again.

Before buying a membership for one of them, we suggest you keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Cost. How does the cost of the LSAT study service compare to their competitors? Does the price reflect the amount of quality study material you are receiving?
  • Instruction Method. What type of course content does the LSAT test prep service come with? Does it fit your particular learning style?
  • Use of Materials. Most LSAT courses are available for a limited time. Make sure you choose a membership plan that gives you plenty of time to get prepared before taking the LSAT!

To help you find the best LSAT test prep program, TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked a variety of options. We hope this information helps you feel confident and successful when you take the LSAT!
