MemoRise is one of the best all-natural products we found to support the brain and improve memory loss and forgetfulness. MemoRise is a Native Remedies herbal supplement, the maker of many successful all-natural products used to improve common ailments. Native Remedies is a Florida based company, in business since 2002 and currently holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating. Shoppers love the customer friendly policies found here.
MemoRise is specifically formulated for those middle aged and beyond. The ingredients work to reduce memory challenges, improve circulation, assist with cognitive functions and improve information retention and recall. Directions for use include 2 capsules taken 2 times daily after eating. The manufacturer suggests that results should be noticeable within 3 to 6 weeks if taken on a regular basis. However, we found reviews of customers whom saw results much quicker.
The MemoRise proprietary formula addresses all of the major complaints associated with memory struggles. The list of ingredients include:
MemoRise is not the cheapest memory loss option available on the market but Native Remedies offers a buy 2 get 1 free offer that reduces the monthly cost when bought in bulk. Like any of the Native Remedies products, MemoRise comes with an outstanding 1 year return policy. That means you can try MemoRise and return it for a full refund if you aren't completely satisfied.
The history behind the company, positive customer feedback and an excellent return policy pushed MemoRise to the top of our list of memory loss products. If you are middle age or older, MemoRise may be worth your consideration.
Cyntol is an affordable memory loss product manufactured by Progressive Health. This company has been in the nutraceuticals business since 1997 and provides a host of all-natural products to battle anything from memory loss to restless leg syndrome and beyond. Progressive Health holds a perfect A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
Cyntol is designed to improve focus and memory in adults of all ages. The website also identifies the impact of age, alcohol, depression, stress, medication and other factors that can play a role in memory loss. Recommend use of Cyntol includes 1 pill per day and no identified time frame for improvement.
Cyntol is formulated with a long list of all-natural ingredients to improve memory and learning. The list of ingredients include:
Cyntol is priced a little lower than some of the other memory loss options available. However, it only includes 1 pill per day. That may be beneficial for those on the go that only have time to remember to take their 1 dose. Progressive Health also offers a buy 4 bottle receive 2 free offer which significantly reduces the average monthly cost of this product. If you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return within 6 months for a refund.
We found a few customer reviews of Cyntol and most were positive in nature but not a ton of people are talking about Cyntol. However, Progressive Health is a solid company with a strong customer history and fair pricing. If you are looking for a memory loss product for adults of all ages, this might be one worth considering.
truBrain has a lot of people talking, and they take a different approach to fighting memory loss. truBrain is designed to improve both memory and focus and was created for working professionals, by neuroscientists. With this memory loss product will appeal to people that like their vitamins and supplements available in grab and go packaging and find a membership plan of great convenience. While this company hasn't been around for 10 years or more, like some of the other companies reviewed, we think truBrain will appeal to a certain population.
An article was written by Bloomberg about truBrain and described the companies effort to study the mental function of a Wall Street trader with using truBrain and without. The neuroscientists involved in the testing found a significant benefit and difference to the traders performance when using their product.
truBrain's website clearly lays out each ingredient included in the formula as well as why and how it works. The ingredients include:
truBrain is manufactured in an GMP certified facility within the United States. With each monthly box of truBrain, customers receive 44 packets including 1 morning and 1 evening packet per day. truBrain should be used during work days but also included 4 booster packets for extended or challenging work days. Unique anyone else, they also offer free samples if you want to try a packet before buying.
For those that love truBrain they offer a monthly subscription membership and reduce the monthly charge based on how many months you commit to. This is definitely not the cheapest memory loss product reviewed. However, as we mentioned before, we think there's a market for this type of product for those that want better brain performance but without the side effects of too much caffeine.
The science, convenience and professionalism of truBrain got our attention and may appeal to professionals that want an all-natural aid to help them achieve their best work performance. This product is not for everyone but is definitely interesting to check-out.
Study Plus is a product designed with the student in mind. This all-natural product is formulated for improved concentration and memory functioning without the harmful effects of caffeine. It is manufactured by Native Remedies, a popular herbal supplement maker that's been in the business of alternative products since 2002. They currently hold an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and offer customers a friendly, no-stress shopping experience.
As mentioned before, Study Plus is formulated for students who want and need to improve their performance in the classroom. This product is however safe for people of all ages. Study Plus said to improve mental alertness, clarity, concentration, mental processing, organization and provides endurance for extended study efforts. Directions for use include 1 capsule 2 times daily for children age 12 to 16 and 1 to 2 capsules 2 times daily for 17 and over. As with many Native Remedies products, customers are said to see results between 3 and 6 weeks with regular and consistent use.
Study Plus addresses many aspects of a students challenges when it comes to ones brain power however, the ingredients in Study Plus involve a very short list:
For those that want to try an alternative product for improved concentration and memory but are worried that a single ingredient within a complex formula may create a negative side effect, Study Plus keeps it very simple and allows users to try Gotu kola with little risk. Study Plus will last 1 month for younger students and is even cheaper when shoppers take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free option at Native Remedies. Like any of the Native Remedies products, MemoRise comes with an outstanding 1 year return policy. That means you can try MemoRise and return it for a full refund if you aren't completely satisfied.
While the ingredient list of Study Plus is not robust we liked the effectiveness of the main ingredient and that all Native Remedies products are manufactured in an FDA approved facility. Also, the history behind the company, an excellent return policy and decent customer reviews helped Study Plus rate well in our analysis. If you or a loved one is wanting to improve their performance in school, Study Plus is worth your consideration.
Lumonol is a vegetarian-friendly supplement that seeks to help with cognition, focus, motivation, and energy. As with most supplements, the statements made by the makers of Lumonol have not been evaluated by the FDA.
There are three supplements sold under the Lumonol label:
The main product targeting memory loss, Lumonol, consists of three blends to target Energy, Focus, and Memory itself:
We like that the supplement facts are readily available on the site, exactly as it looks on the bottle, prior to purchase.
Several typos on the site made us wonder about the supplement's quality: in one place, the brand name itself was even misspelled. We also saw one part that said that Lumonol comes with a 90-day guarantee, while another offered a 60-day guarantee. The majority of the site seems to indicate that there is indeed a 90-day, no questions asked return policy, and customers can get a full refund minus the cost of shipping. Similarly, there was no posted shipping fees, but based on items we put in our cart, it appears that there is a flat-fee charge of $5.95 for certain orders, probably under $100, and free shipping for orders over that amount.
Despite these quirks, user reviews of Lumonol were quite positive, reporting a significant increase in focus and energy without the sharp drops you'd see from a more stimulant-based supplement. (One reviewer even compared it to the "super-pill" featured in the movie and TV series "Limitless"!) That being said, most of the users of Lumonol appeared to be targeting energy, motivation, and clear thinking (for a workday or college study session, for example), rather than memory loss specifically.
For those who do have sensitivities to caffeine, both current customers and Lumonol's site recommend starting slowly, taking half of the recommended dose for several days to measure the effects. It is also recommended that customers take a 30-day break for every 90 days of using Lumonol; more information on the cycling pattern is included with the product guidebook.
Overall, Lumonol seems to be a solid choice for those looking to increase their mental clarity, focus, and energy levels, and the competitive price for a one-month supply ($59.95 for a one-time purchase, or $47.97 on a subscription plan) is backed by a risk-free 90-day satisfaction guarantee. Our rating is mostly due to the fact that it may not be an appropriate supplement for older people specifically looking to improve their memory or prevent memory loss, because Lumonol appears to be more focused on the overall cognitive package.
Think Clear is a memory loss product targeted to relieve the effects of cognitive processing issues. Many of the ingredients in this product are aimed at providing oxygen and blood to the brain. Think Clear is manufactured by Pro Health which started in 1989 by a gentleman diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Pro Health offers several Fibromyalgia and CFS products to improve the symptoms of both conditions. Pro Health currently holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
Many sufferers of Fibromyalgia and CFS struggle with memory issues. Many experts feel this is the result of chronic inflammation, disturbed sleep and other factors that often impact sufferers. Think Clear attempts to address the brain fog and memory issues of these patients. Directions for use include 1 pill 2 times daily at meal time. Think Clear includes 4 main ingredients that include:
This supplement is affordably priced, among our list of memory loss products. The focus of this product is to improve the daily effects of brain fog by improving circulation and oxygen to the brain. While feedback was limited on Think Clear, we did find that customers did not experience indigestion while using this product.
Pro Health only offers a 30 day return policy on their products which dropped the ranking of Think Clear in our reviews. Often times, users must try a product for more than 1 month to get the desired effects.
For Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia patients, Think Clear is designed to improve cell transmission and circulation which may be a better approach for your specific condition than other products reviewed.
Brain Pill is produced by Leading Health, a company known for health products in a variety of categories that have been endorsed by big-name celebrities. This memory-boosting supplement is no different; the site proudly features videos from Ken Jennings, world-renowned Jeopardy champ, and Dr. Dave David, a surgeon featured on numerous news programs and talk shows, both who promote the benefits of taking Brain Pill. These benefits include an increased ability to process information and perform while fatigued, better results at work or school, and a decrease in "mental fog", among others.
Brain Pill's formula consists of several components, with more detailed information available on the website:
Brain Pill does come with a money-back guarantee, but you should be aware that it only applies to purchases of two boxes or more. In other words, you'll need to spend at least $149 for the two-month supply in order to get a refund. Refunds are given, no questions asked, if the empty containers (and any additional unused supplies) are returned within 67 days of delivery - so make sure to get them back in the right time frame to get your money back, if for any reason you're unsatisfied with Brain Pill.
This is particularly important given the handful of reviews that we found for other products sold by Brain Pill's parent company, Leading Edge, that indicated that there were problems with getting the refund. It appears that, across their family of products, Leading Edge requires a larger order in order to be eligible for the money-back guarantee, but on more than one instance the company has claimed that the products were delivered earlier and thus the refund period has expired.
We also found very few customer reviews showing any results, positive or negative, of using Brain Pill. The site gives very compelling information from numerous scientific studies showing why the components of this supplement will be effective, but it would be much more convincing to have reviews from verified customers that confirm that Brain Pill worked for them.
In short, Brain Pill has the potential to be a very effective product with respect to cognitive function and memory loss. We do strongly recommend that customers document very carefully when the product was received (through delivery confirmation or other tracking method), in case they do not see the desired effect and want to take advantage of the money-back guarantee.
Brain Stack is a memory loss supplement made by Maven Labs. This is caffeine based product that is said to help users learn faster, increase productivity, retain information, create efficiency and be motivated. Maven Labs is an A rated Better Business Bureau company that has been accredited since 2013. Maven Labs opened its door in 2008 and appears to only sell Brain Stack, at this time.
Brain Stack is said to be designed for anyone needing enhanced mental ability. Directions for use include 1 to 8 capsules in any 24 hour period. The list of ingredients in Brain Stack are lengthy. The top ingredients include:
The language on the website leads us to believe that Brain Stack is geared for the younger crowd that is interested in caffeinated products versus improving memory loss due to age. Brain Stack's return policy did get our attention. They state that a customer has 30 days to return the product but uses language as "no-return, no-restrictions money back guarantee" which makes no sense.
The Brain Stack website appears to cater to those caffeine junkies, which today is a lot of people. For those using up to the maximum dosage of 8 pills per day, the price is expensive and a bottle will only last a week at best. We also couldn't find any independent customer reviews for Brain Stack which lead us to believe this product is very new to the market.
For those wanting to improve memory, we recommend looking higher on our list of memory loss products for assistance.
Phosphatidyl Serine is another Pro Health memory loss product that takes a hit on the wallet. Like the name, Phosphatidyl is the main ingredient in this product that is said to sharpen memory and mental activity. Phosphatidyl Serine is also Soy based which is important for those that are allergic or generally like to avoid the ingredient.
Manufactured by Pro Health, a company that started in 1989 by a Rich Carson, after being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) provides a number of products that are geared to address common symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Pro Health currently holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
Directions for use of Phosphatidyl Serine are a bit vague. The directions include 100 to 300 mgs per day, between meals, for the first 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, users may decrease to 100 mg per day. The problem with the labeling is that it's doesn't clearly identify how many milligrams are in each capsule.
Phosphatidyl Serine is rich in phosphatidyl ingredients and little else:
As mentioned before, Phosphatidyl Serine is more expensive. You do receive more than the standard 30 to 60 capsules but the directions for use could cause some confusion for users. Also, for those wanting to avoid Soy based products, this not the one for you. Pro Health does offer a 30 day return policy on their products, which could be a negative for someone who may require 4 to 6 weeks to see solid results.
Geared for Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia patients, Phosphatidyl Serine puts a lot at stake in only using 1 ingredient to solve memory problems. A confusing set of directions for use and a steep price tag reduced our overall opinion of Phosphatidyle Serine.
The Excelerol is big on promise and little on fact. Shoppers will find an overly flashy website with busy lettering and multiple videos throughout. We felt that brain health and flash were a particularly unimpressive combination. The company behind Excelerol does not disclose it's history or tenure but does identify being located in California and that it's called Accelerated Intelligence. We could not locate and Accelerated Intelligence on the Better Business Bureau website.
What we could determine is that Excelerol is caffeine based and appears to be acceptable for short tern use. Sort of an "as needed" product that lasts approximately 6 hours. In fact, Excelerol is compared to Adderall, a popular ADHD product. The Excelerol formula is said to address memory, focus, concentration and alertness. Ingredients include:
Excelerol heavily promotes their product with a long list of options to save money. However, instructions for use are very vague. The bottles says 1 to 2 capsules. They don't list if that's with or without food, at the same time or different.
The never ending video that would never fully shut off was the first sign that Excelerol wasn't what we were looking for. With an emphasis on caffeine and getting customers signed up for monthly auto-ship we continued to be unimpressed. A lack of customer feedback and history pushed this product to the bottom of our list.
Memory loss and attention issues are complaints that many of us have. These issues can stem from the natural progression of aging, stress, diet, lack of exercise, sleep issues, certain conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, high blood pressure, Fibromyalgia and much more.
Despite the common occurrence of memory loss it can be both embarrassing and frustrating to have regular bouts of forgetfulness. People often feel unintelligent when they can't remember someone's name, why they walked into a room, and that word that is on the tip of their tongue but won't seem to ever come out. Forgetting meetings, birthdays, the grocery list and what we were going to say are all signs of a brain that is not performing at its best.
Today a number of over the counter, all-natural products have been formulated to improve memory, concentration, and overall brain health. These products can be effective at improving the cognitive ability of ones brain without the harmful side effects of caffeine and prescription medications.
However, memory loss supplements can vary greatly in ingredients, targeted symptoms and cost. When considering a memory loss product look at the following features of each option:
