What's the best product for Relief from Menopause? Menopuase symptoms can range from mildly irritating to extremely uncomfortable: night sweats, anxiety, weight gain, hot flashes, and rapid mood swings are just a few. If you or someone close to you are going through this change in life, you likely have wondered what can be done to bring relief and restore balance to your body.

In the past, doctors relied on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to effectively decrease menopausal symptoms. Unfortunately, oftentimes a woman's body adapts to the progesterone and estrogen hormones used in the procedure - so, over the two to twenty years that a woman may go through menopause, she sees diminishing results from the HRT. That's one reason why many women have turned to other forms of menopause relief.

TopConsumerReviews.com Best-In-Class Blue Ribbon Award MellowPause is a 100% herbal product for the symptoms of menopause. Sold by Native Remedies, a company with decades of experience in combatting health problems with an all-natural approach, this menopause product comes in two forms.

MellowPause Daily has two active ingredients, Black Cohosh Root and Pulsatilla Herb, along with vegetable glycerin and deionized water. These ingredients help to keep hormones balanced, to support a calm mood and restful sleep, and to maintain a positive balance of energy. It should be taken 1 mL at a time in at least cup of water or juice after meals, twice daily. Each bottle contains 59 mL of product, so it should last approximately 29 days.

MellowPause S.O.S. can be taken alone or in conjunction with the Daily formula, with a different blend of ingredients:

  • Calcarea carbonica: addresses breast tenderness, low energy levels, and itching, and may also help with anxiety and worry
  • Cimicifuga racemosa: reduces hot flashes and faintness
  • Lachesis Mutus: helps with night sweats, dizziness, and mood swings
  • Staphysagria: assists with irritability and insomnia
  • Sulphur: reduces hot flashes, headaches, and irritability

S.O.S. comes in tablet form and is best taken in a clean mouth 20-30 minutes prior to eating. The tablets can be chewed or dissolved in the mouth, or crushed and sprinkled on soft food or in warm water. The dosage is 2 tablets taken 3-4 times per day until symptoms subside. Each bottle contains 180 tables and should last 25-30 days, depending on how much is taken and how often.

Do you like to save money? If you sign up for Native Remedies' email newsletter as a first-time customer, you can get 15% off and free shipping on your order. Look for a pop-up with the details. Also, if you choose to have MellowPause delivered automatically every 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks, you'll save 10% and also get free shipping. Finally, many of the products offered by Native Remedies are "buy two, get one free", mix and match; MellowPause is one of those eligible products.

Native Remedies offers the best satisfaction guarantee on the market. If MellowPause doesn't work for you, you can return it within a year of purchase for a full refund (minus any shopping fees). The company's reputation shows that they stand behind their products, with an "A+" rating at the Better Business Bureau.

According to Native Remedies, some users of MellowPause experience significant relief of their menopause symptoms after just a few days; for most women, however, it may take 3-6 weeks to achieve consistent benefits.

Customers say that using MellowPause helped them to get rid of their hot flashes completely, giving them the rest they desperately needed at night. Many users have found relief with MellowPause after trying many other products to no avail.

MellowPause Daily and S.O.S. are affordable, all-natural, and effective. And, with Native Remedies' fantastic satisfaction guarantee, you can try either product risk-free and see how well it works for you. MellowPause earns our highest rating among products that deliver menopause relief.

Menopol

Cost:

1 bottle (15-day supply): $20.96

2 bottles (30-day supply): $38.46

4 bottles (60-day supply): $65.65

Sold by online retailer HelloLife, Menopol uses a proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, and natural botanicals designed to help relieve menopausal symptoms and support healthy dietary choices.

Unfortunately, Menopol does not give detailed information about the benefits of each of the ingredients in their menopause supplement. You can click on the Supplement Facts to find out that it contains the following:

  • Vitamin E Nat. Succinate
  • Proprietary Herbal Blend of St. John's Wort extract, Sage leaf powder, Black cohosh (root and rhizome extract)
  • Hesperidin methylchalcone
  • Rice bran oil

And, in the smaller print, it says that the capsules contain other ingredients like glycerin and natural tropical punch flavor (which we thought was strange for a capsule that you swallow whole - maybe to mask any unpleasant taste if you happen to burp after taking the supplement?).

Here's where things get tricky. Menopol, like everything sold by HelloLife, comes with a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. That's great! But, you have to use the product for at least a month to be eligible. Because you'll need to take two capsules, twice a day, you must order two bottles - in order to have enough product for that 30-day period and to qualify for the refund. You can order more than that, but any additional bottles must be unopened in order to be eligible for the satisfaction guarantee.

The good news is, HelloLife has a great reputation overall, with an "A+" rating at the BBB and more than 500 positive reviews across all of the products that they sell. Also, their customer service team responds in a professional yet friendly way to any less-than-perfect comments.

That being said, the ultimate question is "Does Menopol offer relief of menopause symptoms?" Even though the product has been around for many years, there are only 20 reviews featured on the Menopol product page. It's true that they're all 5-star reviews - but that just left us thinking that the company only shows its most favorable customer comments, because no product works for every single person who tries it. When we looked for user comments in other places, we only found a handful - and they said that the supplement did not work for them.

Still, Menopol may be worth trying if you haven't gotten relief from other remedies. HelloLife's satisfaction guarantee, overall reputation, and affordable pricing ensure that it's not a big financial risk to give this supplement a chance.

HRT has also been demonstrated to increase a woman's risk of developing uterine and breast cancer, leaving patients and their physicians justifiably concerned with using hormone replacement as an option for menopause relief.

For that reason, many women choose to take a more natural approach to seek relief for menopausal symptoms. Some of these options come in capsule form, as a powder to mix in with water or other liquid, or even as a cream applied to the skin. These over-the-counter remedies have the advantage of being available without needing a prescription, and also not having the lengthy list of possible side effects of HRT.

How can you determine which menopause product is right for you? As you look at the various products currently available, there are several things to keep in mind. These include:

  • Product Form: Is it a capsule/pill, powder, cream, or something else? If you have issues with swallowing medication, you'll want to avoid anything in pill or capsule form. Similarly, if you have sensitive skin, a topical cream might be too strong.
  • Effectiveness. When can you expect to feel relief when using the menopause product? What have other users said about their experience with it? Will the benefits last long-term, or are they only temporary?
  • Cost. What will you spend for the product? Are there any money-saving perks like free shipping, discounts on larger orders, or a rewards program?
  • Satisfaction Guarantee. Can you return the product if it doesn't work for you? Will the retailer accept returns on partially-used products or only on unopened packages?
