Cost:

1 bottle for $44.95

3 for $134.85

4 for $179.80

Menstium, manufactured by Progressive Health, is an all-natural PMS remedy that works to help with both the physical and emotional issues associated with PMS. It contains a number of natural vitamins and minerals to combat the symptoms of PMS.

Within each bottle of Menstium, custumers will find a proprietary blend of Vitamin E, B6, Magnesium, Chasteberry Extract, Dongh Quai Extract, Licorice Extract, L-Theanine as well as rice powder and Magnesium Stearate. These are the many of the same ingredients used in other products reviewed.

Progressive Health recommends a dosage of 2 capsules per day, every day of the month. They suggest taking one capsule in the morning and one capsule in the afternoon with 8 ounces of water. Each bottle of Mensitum includes a 30- day supply based on the recommended dosage. For best results Progressive recommends you use the product for 45-60 days first to experience optimum results. For those looking for quicker results, this may not be your first choice.

We like that Menstium contains both vitamins as well as the natural plant-based ingredients and minerals. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, they do ask that you send back unused bottles for a refund minus the initial shipping charge. Their website states that they will evaluate your account and issue you a credit within 7-14 days with no questions asked and you have up to 6 months to request the return.

Menstium is a product that contains a standard blend of PMS relief ingredients. Customer reviews on effectiveness were not as plentiful as those products ranked higher. However, based on the customer feedback we did find, many customers stated that they have been using the product long term and are happy with the results. If you love this product, buying in bulk can reduce the monthly cost significantly.

Cost:

30ct for $28.95

90ct for $66.95

Peacemaker CX, made by Herbalogic, helps with the specific relief of cramps, as well as, mood swings associated with PMS. Peacekeeper CX contains the following ingredients: Tumeric, Corydalis yanhusuo, Chinese angelica root, Bai-zhu atractylodes, Poria, Chinese motherwort, White peony, Bupleurum root, Nutgrass, Silk tree bark, Ginger, Wild turmeric, Spatholobus, Piper nigrum, Licorice root and Mint leaf. These ingredients have long been used in herbal medicine to restore balance and reduce emotional peaks that are associated with PMS symptoms. It is a vegetarian, alcohol free, wheat free, soy free and lactose free product.

Peacemaker CX caters the dosage specific to the customers weight. For adults up to 150lbs, take 1 capsule two or three times per day. For adults weighing over 150lbs, they recommend taking 2 capsules two to three times a day but not to exceed 2 capsules at any one time. Herbalogic states that herbs are more effective with consistent and repeated use. Following the dosage for at least 3-5 days will provide best results. The manufacture recommends taking Peacekeeper CX for two weeks prior to the onset of your PMS symptoms and continue until the end of your menstrual cycle.

Make note that Peacemaker CX could become very costly. For those needing a higher dose, the cost would run upwards of $30.00 for 5 days plus tax and shipping.

The Peacemaker CX return process is a little more time consuming than other companies we reviewed. They require products to be returned regardless of whether or not they have been opened or used. They will issue a refund upon the receipt of their product as well as the original shipping charge however, you will have to pay to ship the product back to them.

Overall, Peacemaker CX doesn't have a long list of happy customers to provide much motivation to try over those products ranker higher. The expensive price tag and ingredients designed to only manage two PMS symptoms puts this product lower on the list.
