Cost:

$19.95 for 30 patches

Patch MD, the makers of PMS Day Relief, specialize in offering a variety of patches that are designed to directly deliver nutrients to the blood stream. PMS Day Relief is said to specifically reduce abdominal and pelvic cramps, mood swings and anxiety, fatigue and exhaustion, breast tenderness as well as sugar cravings and overeating. Their formula is a combination of vitamins including Vitamins B6, D3, E, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Evening Primrose Oil, Chaste Tree Berry Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Curcumin, Calcium D- Glucarate, DIM,and Dandelion Root Extract.

Instructions for use of PMS Day Relief include applying one patch per day, every day of the month. Patches are to be placed on a hairless, lotion free area of the body for 8 hours. Patch MD also provides a PMS Night Patch to help ease menstrual symptoms and assist with sleep but, that includes a separate purchase.

Customer feedback on PMS Day Relief include positive responses to the convenience of the patch. Not having to carry around or swallow pills every day of the month. As far as reducing PMS symptoms, several customers talked about a reduction in the standard side effects of PMS but not an elimination, especially on the really hard days.

PMS Day Relief comes with a 30 day return policy on any unopened items for a full refund. Unfortunately for those that have opened and tried the product, for the first time, and are unsatisfied, no refund is available.

If you hate to drag around and remember to take a handful of vitamins and supplements each day, this convenient, once a day, patch application might be a great alternative to PMS relief. The return policy and potential need for an evening patch makes this option less cost effective and enticing as those products ranked higher but still worth a try.

Cost:

30ct for $28.95

90ct for $66.95

Peacemaker CX, made by Herbalogic, helps with the specific relief of cramps, as well as, mood swings associated with PMS. Peacekeeper CX contains the following ingredients: Tumeric, Corydalis yanhusuo, Chinese angelica root, Bai-zhu atractylodes, Poria, Chinese motherwort, White peony, Bupleurum root, Nutgrass, Silk tree bark, Ginger, Wild turmeric, Spatholobus, Piper nigrum, Licorice root and Mint leaf. These ingredients have long been used in herbal medicine to restore balance and reduce emotional peaks that are associated with PMS symptoms. It is a vegetarian, alcohol free, wheat free, soy free and lactose free product.

Peacemaker CX caters the dosage specific to the customers weight. For adults up to 150lbs, take 1 capsule two or three times per day. For adults weighing over 150lbs, they recommend taking 2 capsules two to three times a day but not to exceed 2 capsules at any one time. Herbalogic states that herbs are more effective with consistent and repeated use. Following the dosage for at least 3-5 days will provide best results. The manufacture recommends taking Peacekeeper CX for two weeks prior to the onset of your PMS symptoms and continue until the end of your menstrual cycle.

Make note that Peacemaker CX could become very costly. For those needing a higher dose, the cost would run upwards of $30.00 for 5 days plus tax and shipping.

The Peacemaker CX return process is a little more time consuming than other companies we reviewed. They require products to be returned regardless of whether or not they have been opened or used. They will issue a refund upon the receipt of their product as well as the original shipping charge however, you will have to pay to ship the product back to them.

Overall, Peacemaker CX doesn't have a long list of happy customers to provide much motivation to try over those products ranker higher. The expensive price tag and ingredients designed to only manage two PMS symptoms puts this product lower on the list.
