Join a Popcorn Club with Amazing Clubs Today! Where can you find the best Popcorn Clubs? If you - or someone you love! - is a fan of the white, fluffy goodness that is popcorn, what better than to have it delivered right to the home or office on the regular? Because really, the stuff you get at the theater is usually way too salty, dripping with fake butter, and definitely doesn't taste good after a day of sitting in the bucket. And, what you can buy at your local supermarket has probably been sitting on a shelf for so long, there's no way that it's going to be fresh. Right?

Popcorn Clubs take this treat to a whole other level of deliciousness. Did you know that cheddar and caramel are not the only two flavor options out there? Start shopping around and comparing monthly subscription plans, and soon you'll discover that there are artisans crafting crazy flavors like Dill Pickle, Mango Habanero, and holiday-specific tastes like Cranberry and Winter Spice.

Cost:

Starting from $49.99 for a 3-month plan ($16.66/month) plus $5.99/delivery for shipping

Especially around the holidays, you'll find all kinds of Moose Munch popcorn "popping up" in stores near you. But what if you could get this Harry & David deliciousness year-round - and right to your doorstep? Good news: you totally can! The Moose Munch Premium Popcorn Club brings two 10-oz. bags of the tasty treat to your home or office, with no need to try and find it in a store near you! Customers who have subscribed to this club in the past commented that it was really fun getting all of the new flavors offered by Harry & David right when they were released, too.

Your first decision is how long you'd like your Popcorn Club subscription to last: 3, 6, or 12 months. Next, choose what month you'd like deliveries to start (a great option if you like to shop well ahead of special occasions). Finally, decide if you'd like to opt into an "extra-special" first month's replacement that adds pretzels, chocolate-covered nuts and other treats to the initial shipment.

You can see all of the monthly flavors right on the product page. Some of the past flavors have included Cherry Vanilla, Lemon Cream, S'mores and Macadamia Nut - we're pretty sure you won't have seen all of those flavors in any local store!

Spend a little time browsing the Harry & David website and you might get a little extra savings on your order. We got a pop-up offer of 15% off everything in our cart if we provided them with our email address.

This Popcorn Club is not so expensive when you look at the average monthly cost. For example, the 3-month plan costs $49.99, which works out to less than $17 per month. The 6-month club is priced at $89.99, or less than $15/month. And, the 12-month package is $169.99, giving you the lowest overall cost at just a little over $14/month. But, keep in mind that Harry & David doesn't include your delivery fees in their subscription price - so when you tack on the shipment fee of $5.99 for each monthly package, it puts your cost over $20 per month. Again, that's not so bad - but considering that you only get a total of 20 oz. of popcorn for your money, it comes up a little short compared with rivals who deliver a gallon or two for almost the same price.

On the other hand, we all know that the deliciousness of Moose Munch revolves around the fact that it's usually not just popcorn in that bag. Chocolate, candied nuts, and other additions take popcorn to a whole other level, so you may be perfectly satisfied with a smaller bag if it means you get dark and milk chocolate too. And, speaking of satisfaction, Harry & David gives you an ironclad satisfaction guarantee: if you're not delighted for any reason, they'll make it right with an appropriate replacement or a refund.

In general, this Popcorn Club is ideal for those who know and love the Moose Munch brand - or who think that chocolate and popcorn sounds like a little bit of heaven in a bag. You won't spend a ton of money on this subscription plan, but remember that you won't be receiving a giant bucket of popcorn either.

Snacktime Express

Cost:

Starting from $9.99/month plus shipping

Snacktime Express makes all of their popcorn in their Montgomery, Texas factory, along with glazed nuts and other gift options. Information is a little thin on the company: we were surprised that their online store doesn't tell prospective customers anything about their business, its history, or even more than just a handful of testimonials from previous shoppers. But, because their Popcorn Club is the most economical among the companies we evaluated, it's worth taking a look at what Snacktime Express has to offer.

In your monthly Popcorn Club shipment, you'll get a single flavor - and during the ordering process, you need to choose from among these flavor categories:

  • Caramel
  • Cheese
  • Gluten-Free
  • Savory
  • Sweet
  • "Surprise Me"

So, while you won't get a mix of flavors in each box, you do get to decide what general type of flavor you or your recipient prefers. (And, if you want a random mix, you'll want to choose the "Surprise Me" category.) That's a nice option if you know straight off the bat that you absolutely hate savory popcorn or the person you're gifting has a total devotion to the sticky caramel kinds. Some of the flavors listed under their Individual Bags section of the store include Watermelon, Sea Salt Caramel, and Dill Pickle, giving you an idea of what flavors you might expect in your monthly club too.

There are two sizes to choose from with this Popcorn Club: a 5-cup bag for $9.99/month, or an 8-cup bag for $10.49. (Obviously, the latter offers the most value, since you get 3 extra cups of popcorn for just 50 cents more.) While it says that shipping will be calculated at checkout, we weren't charged anything for delivery on our Monthly Subscription plan. That makes us think that maybe Snacktime Express only charges for shipping on one-off orders of popcorn, but not on their clubs. That makes this Popcorn Club a pretty reasonable deal, especially if you don't want to spend $20+ like most of the rival services in our review.

One advantage to the Snacktime Express Popcorn Club is that there's no long-term commitment required. The only option is to pay month-to-month, which means that you can cancel at any time.

Snacktime Express wants you to be happy with every delivery you receive. So, if you're not happy with your popcorn for any reason, you can contact them within 7 days of receiving your order for a full replacement or refund.

Is this a good choice for your Popcorn Club? After researching Snacktime Express, the best we can say is "maybe". There were very few places where we could find comments from customers or any external details about the business: no BBB listing, Facebook page, or any other place to see what people have to say about the product or the club. Because it's so affordably priced, this Popcorn Club definitely has our attention - but you should keep in mind that the business doesn't have much of a reputation (positive or negative) compared with their rivals in the industry.

As a gift-giving option, Popcorn Clubs make it easy to really "wow" your lucky recipient. Most plans let you choose how many deliveries you'd like to buy, usually ranging from a single month to once a month for a full year. Some even let you stagger the shipments, bringing freshly-crafted popcorn once per season. The best clubs let your recipient preview what will be coming in their upcoming deliveries, so that they can skip a month if a flavor isn't their favorite or if they're going to be out of town.

Of course, no two Popcorn Clubs are alike, so it's worth doing a little bit of research before you select the one for your next monthly subscription. Want the inside scoop on picking the right one for you? Here's a helpful list of criteria that can help you find the perfect one for you or the person you're gifting:

  • Amount. How much popcorn will you get in each delivery? Some Popcorn Clubs include a whopping two gallons of product, while others are just enough for a few handfuls.
  • Variety. Do you want more than one flavor in each package? Do you prefer more run-of-the-mill flavors, really wild ones, or maybe a little of both? Does the company let you specify a taste preference, or swap flavors if one isn't quite your favorite?
  • Cost. What will you pay for your subscription? Are shipping costs included in the monthly price? Do you get a good value for your money?
  • Customer Service. What do people say about the Popcorn Club? Is there a good refund policy or satisfaction guarantee if your popcorn doesn't arrive in great condition or even if you just don't like something you receive?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Popcorn Clubs available today. We hope this information helps you find the perfect tasty treat for your next gift-giving occasion - or just for your upcoming movie nights at home!
