1 INK Visit Site

1 Ink is an online discount business that sells a variety of remanufactured and compatible printer cartridges and toner drums at up to 85 percent off retail prices for similar products. They offer printer supplies and supplies for multi-function office equipment for almost 20 different brands including Dell, Lexmark and Brother.

1 Ink is able to deeply discount its products because they purchase in bulk and use remanufactured and compatible cartridges. They also work to provide customer's further discounts. On its home page, 1 Ink promotes “Deals of the Day.” Here they advertise several products which are on special. 1 Ink provides the special deal price, the regular price and the amount saved on that particular deal. 1 Ink also has an e-mail sign-up. Through this sign-up, customers will receive the newsletter, coupons and promo codes which they can use to get an even better discount on their products.

To add to the amount you save, 1 Ink offers free shipping on all orders over $55. For orders less than $55, the shipping charges are $4.95. All orders are shipped USPS or UPS Ground and 1 Ink says they should reach their destination in 3-5 business days. Unfortunately, there's no Fed Ex option for those in a hurry. Also, note that they ship Monday-Friday and do not fill orders on weekends.

1 Ink provides a 100 percent guarantee to customer. To back this up, they offer to refund your money on any orders you are dissatisfied with within 180 days of purchase.

1 Ink's website is easy to navigate. In order to place an order, you do need to know the printer brand and the model number. Then, you can either search by number or use the convenient drop down menus for the correct printer brand in order to locate the product you need.

1 Ink's website also has a couple of unique and customer friendly features. First, they have a tab entitled, “Can't find your cartridge.” If you haven't found the cartridge you need, filling out this short form will notify them of what cartridge you're looking for. Within 24 hours, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the availability of that cartridge. Secondly, 1 Ink offers a tracking feature. By providing the last 4 digits of your phone number, your e-mail and your zip code, you can easily find out whether your order has shipped and when you can expect to receive it.

The deep discounts, inexpensive shipping and 100 percent guarantee on its products make 1 Ink a good option for ordering cartridges for your personal or business use.

Ink Grabber

INK GRABBER Visit Site

Ink Grabber offers genuine (original equipment manufacturer (OEM)), compatible (generic), and remanufactured (rebuilt) ink-jet cartridges. Brands include (but are not limited to) Apple, Brother, Canon, Compaq, Dell, Epson, HP, IBM, Kodak, Konica, Kyocera, Lexmark, Minolta, Okidata, Panasonic, Pitney Bowes, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, and Xerox. Ink Grabber also offers toner and fax ink, CD and DVD media, and paper products.

To find a printer ink cartridge, you click on your printer's brand and model. A list of OEM and generic cartridges will display at discounted rates. Ink Grabber offers free shipping for orders over $75, and they also have special offers for free shipping on orders of $55 or more.

The Ink Grabber website is very basic and not overly impressive, but it is easy to navigate and find products you are looking for. You can return products for refund or exchange within 90 days of your purchase. However, we did not see any information on the website guaranteeing the quality of their products. Overall, Ink Grabber does not offer the same level of service and is not as impressive as the highest-rated selections.

Continued from above

Because printer ink cartridges can be expensive, many individuals use compatible printer ink cartridges (ones made by a company other than the manufacturer) that often match the quality of the manufacturer's products, but are much less expensive. Additional savings can be realized by using printer ink refill kits or buying remanufactured printer ink cartridges.

Remanufactured printer ink cartridges have been used by a consumer and then refilled by a third party. These printer ink refill methods are typically very inexpensive when compared to buying new printer ink cartridges. Many services also offer remanufactured toner cartridges and other office-related items, such as fax/ribbon supplies, paper, batteries, and so on.

You want to make sure that the retailer's printer ink meets your quality standards. Some companies guarantee that their products meet ISO 9001/2000 requirements, which is important when trusting their printer ink to your printing needs. Additionally, some companies offer environmentally conscious recycling programs, which are an added benefit. These recycling programs can be used as fund raisers or just as a way of maintaining a clean environment.

When looking at different printer ink offerings, there are certain factors you need to consider. Some of these include:

  • Selection.  Does the printer ink company carry the type of ink products you are looking for?
  • Price.  Are the printer ink products offered at a competitive price, compared to other companies?
  • Quality.  Are the printer ink cartridges of a high quality? Does the company guarantee their products?
