Cost:

$34.95 - 1.5 x 9 silicone sheet

Scar Fx is another method of scar product. The product comes in the form of a reusable silicone sheet that when applied to a new scar will reduce the appearance of scarring during the healing process. It can also be used effectively on old scars as well.

To apply, put the silicone sheet over the scar and affix with medical tape if desired. The sheet remains on the scar until you shower and may be reapplied for several days. Scar Fx neutralizes the scar coloring and works to flatten even the largest scar. The silicone sheets contour to any part of the body and come in a range of sizes, with the most common size being 1.5 x 9 inches for $34.95. Each size is a different price. If your scar in question appears on your face this may not be a viable option if you plan to go in public frequently.

Users report that though the product is messy and has a tendency to collect lint and dirt. However, users also report that the product is very effective and delivered the results they wanted. The product can be quite expensive, as the price is for one sheet and some find the product is easy to lose while rinsing off. Some suggestions customers had were to use a scar cream during the day and the Silicone sheets a few times a week at night.

If you are not satisfied with Scar Fx, all purchases can be returned within 30 days for a full refund.

Scar Fx is unique in that it is the only scar product that comes in silicone sheet form and may be worn all day. Dependent on the location of the scar this can offer a lot of convenience for those limited on time and not wanting to worry about reapply a cream several times a day.

Scar Fx comes with wonderful list of happy customers that loved the results of the product. A few felt the silicone sheet was messy and the cost not worth trying. If you have a large scar that you are wanting to aggressively handle and are willing to shell out some money for, consider the location of the scar, and the pros and cons of Scar Fx before making a decision.
