Sports Memorabilia Better Business Bureau Reliability Seal

Best Sports Memorabilia Stores

Collecting sports memorabilia is a rewarding hobby on a grand scale. Sports lovers tend to prove their love of the game by collecting sports pieces in limited supply, or that are not available to anyone else. A finely stocked sports memorabilia collection can provide a real level of prestige.

Traditionally, only a few people lucky enough to live near specialty stores could enjoy collecting sports memorabilia. Far more often, the little corner shop miles away from your home, that is open only a few hours each day, has a very limited and expensive selection.

Sports Integrity

SPORTS INTEGRITY Visit Site

Cost:

From $20 to $4,999

Sports Integrity is a New Jersey-based company specializing in sports memorabilia. Although at first glance the site might lead customers to believe that the only available products are for the sports of football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and boxing, the drop-down menu under the "Shop" heading lists many more categories.

Some of these include:

  • Golf
  • Soccer
  • UFC
  • NASCAR
  • Tennis
  • Horse Racing
  • Olympics
  • Wrestling
  • Entertainment

Sports fans can find autographed jerseys, balls, helmets, and other memorabilia related to their pastime of choice, and Sports Integrity also sells a variety of display cases for items purchased on their site or ones already in a collection.

We were impressed by Sports Integrity's free shipping on all orders within the United States. If you aren't satisfied, Items may be returned in unused, original condition within 14 days of delivery.

We also appreciated Sports Integrity's very active presence on Twitter and Facebook; their responsiveness to their customers' requests (and infrequent complaints) is impressive, and people seem genuinely satisfied with the interactions they've had and the quality of the products they've received.

The only drawbacks we found with Sports Integrity are a somewhat limited selection of college memorabilia (e.g. footballs and jerseys for collegiate football but not basketball or other sports) and a few difficulties with navigating the site. For example, the drop-down menu for "Shop" includes an intriguing category of "Man Cave", but when following the link we were brought to a page that said we didn't have the permissions necessary for viewing it. We also found that the "Upcoming Signings" page said that now is the time to pre-order from future events, but none were listed at the time of this review.

Overall, we found that Sports Integrity is dedicated to providing top-quality, fully authentic sports memorabilia covering a wide range of interests.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia

STEINER SPORTS MEMORABILIA Visit Site

Cost:

From $50 to $2,000

For decent prices, Steiner Sports Memorabilia gives you a broad range of sports memorabilia. Each sport has several different items to choose from for your collection. In baseball, for example, you can choose from:

  • Photos
  • Bats
  • Baseballs
  • Batting
  • Helmets
  • Cleats
  • Gloves

In football you can choose from:

  • Footballs
  • Photos
  • Helmets
  • Jerseys
  • Seatbacks
  • Elite framed and matted momets

Along with these two sports, you are also able to browse sports memorabilia from basketball, hockey, Olympic teams, auto racing, and horse racing. However, if you're looking for sports memorabilia from an NCAA team, you'll only be able to choose from a few items. Other sites in our reviews were able to give us every collegiate team with several options of memorabilia.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia offers an 'Upcoming Signings' link, where you can check out who will be autographing sports memorabilia, when, and where, at any time. If you have any questions, Steiner Sports Memorabilia offers you two numbers to call, as well as several email options to help connect you with the right representative.

When your item comes in, if you're not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a full refund within 30 business days, with a 15% restocking fee.

Press Pass Collectibles

PRESS PASS COLLECTIBLES Visit Site

Cost:

From $9.99 - $14,499

Press Pass Collectibles is a sports memorabilia company specializing in autographed merchandise. Their selection, though lacking in some categories especially when compared to highly rated sites - covers all major North American and international sports.

General shopping on the Press Pass Collectibles website is fairly easy but specific shopping is another story.

Example 1: General shopping. If you're browsing for a cool or interesting item in your favorite sport, say baseball, you can easily go to the Baseball tab and select any of 10 different categories. Within seconds you'll already be scanning through every autographed batting helmet, baseball card, or jersey they have in stock.

Example 2: Specific shopping. If you know exactly what you want, say an autographed rookie card for your favorite basketball player, it takes a few more steps and the results seem spotty at best. You'll need to type your criteria in the search field or, after selecting Autographed Cards from the Basketball drop down list, select the team or player name from another drop down list; either way the process seems cumbersome and search results appear less than accurate or complete.

We tried both search methods with mixed results. We specifically searched for an autographed Dirk Nowitzki rookie card and along with some accurate results there were Nowitzki items (not cards) and items from other NBA players, even other sports altogether. Then, we went through what we thought would be the easier method and used the drop down lists. After selecting Autographed Cards from the Basketball heading and selecting Dallas Mavericks, many player cards came up in the results but none were for Dirk Nowitzki.

Press Pass Collectibles does have a return policy, though it is less customer friendly than other sports memorabilia sites we've reviewed. Items must be returned in as-received condition, within 14 days of receipt, with all documentation (labels, certifications, and so on). There is a 15% restocking fee and the customer pays for return shipping. For items damaged in transit, contact Press Pass Collectibles immediately upon receipt.

Press Pass Collectibles scores a low rating because of the cumbersome and inaccurate search functions on their website, a substandard return policy when compared to other reviewed sites in its category, and the lack of a broad selection in different areas when compared to our highest rated sites. We do not recommend Press Pass Collectibles for your sports memorabilia shopping needs.

However, the internet has changed the reach of sports memorabilia enthusiasts. The beauty of looking for sports memorabilia on the internet is the vast selection you can find, and the convenience that is offered. Finding a rare baseball card from the 1970's or an autographed picture of your favorite Nascar driver can be done in just a few clicks. And the ability to compare prices requires only a moment of your time.

Several online sports memorabilia stores exist today that can help you add to your collection. When looking at different online stores, there are specific factors you should consider in order to find the best value for your money. Some of these include:

  • Selection. Some stores have thousands of sports memorabilia available; others have just a couple hundred. The more sports memorabilia inventory they have, the greater chance you'll find what you're looking for.
  • Ease of Use. Is the website clear and easy to navigate? Will you quickly and efficiently find the sports memorabilia that you're looking for?
  • Return Policy. Does the company allow you to return sports memorabilia products for a full refund? How much time do you have to make a return?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best sports memorabilia stores available online today. We hope these reviews help you find the right sports memorabilia that you're searching for!
