From $15 to $580

Is there anything that Zappos doesn't have? When it comes to sunglasses, probably not. With over 6,000 pairs to choose from, you are likely to find something that fits what you're looking for and have a smooth shopping experience along the way. You can personalize your search by narrowing down brand, color, price, performance, features, etc.

When searching through so many options, we find it helpful that Zappos has the "Customers who bought this item also bought" feature. Once you find a style you like, it's easy to find all the other similar sunglasses to choose from. It is also extremely helpful that they also allow customers to leave honest reviews about their purchases for others to see.

You can find a wide selection of sunglasses for as little as $15 through Zappos. For someone who isn't concerned with designer brands and simply wants sunglasses to, well, keep the sun from scorching their eyeballs, a great selection can be found here. Higher-end brands are plentiful too, but you're not limited to one end or the other of the price scale. It doesn't hurt that they also offer free shipping with your purchase.

The Better Business Bureau gives Zappos an A+ rating. We found other positive reviews like this from other third-party sites. Zappos is a large, well-established company that has got the purchasing process down. It seems overall that customers have a good experience shopping through Zappos and any concerns are addressed well through customer service.

Cost:

From $50 to $500

In addition to designer sunglasses, FramesDirect offers eyeglasses and contacts. The prices for their sunglasses are what you would expect to pay for a high-end product. If you find glasses in the same color and style number that are less expensive through another authorized retailer, FramesDirect will price match for you (excluding Oakley, Costa Del Mar, Kaenon, Lafont, Maui Jim, and Zeal). In addition, FramesDirect has a sister site, AFEyewear, that provides the same glasses selection and offers discounts to U.S. military, veterans, police, firefighters, and EMS personnel.

Shipping is free to anywhere in the U.S. except for Alaska and Hawaii, making your purchase easier and less expensive.

FramesDirect has great third-party ratings (A+) from places like the Better Business Bureau. Their customer service is quick to address and rectify any concerns that customers bring to the table. The company has been well established since 1996 and is large enough to smoothly handle customer demands.

The return and exchange policy allows products to be sent back within 30 days. Eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and non-prescription sunglasses are charged a 10% restocking fee and any product with custom-made lenses are only eligible for a 50% refund of the lens price.

The FramesDirect website is easy to navigate and their inventory is stocked with thousands of glasses to choose from. Overall, FramesDirect is a great place to shop, especially if you are looking for prescription lenses of any kind..

It's important to verify the reliability of the store you are purchasing from before taking the leap on a nice pair of sunglasses!

Here are several factors to consider when deciding which online sunglasses retailer will earn your business:

  • Selection. How many pairs do they typically have in stock? Are they well-known brands? Do they have a variety of styles for men and women, even children?
  • Price. Are the sunglasses priced competitively compared with other stores? Are there any money-saving perks like discounts or free shipping?
  • Reputation. What do other customers say about their experience with buying sunglasses at this store? Can you expect a decent return policy and helpful customer service if there's a problem?

TopConsumerReviews.com has made it easy by diving into the ins and outs of some of the best sunglass stores found online and reviewing them here. Hopefully these reviews will help you find the right pair of sunglasses for your needs!
