H-Warts is a product by Healing Natural Oils, which has been active in the health industry for over 17 years. This company produces only all-natural products, and they also have a mission statement that is Earth-friendly, that guarantees no pesticides, herbicides, or animal testing is used in the manufacturing of their products. In the case of their H-Warts product, the active ingredients Phytolacca decandra and Thuja are clearly listed.
The application of H-Warts is topical, which is similar to other wart removal products. The wart and the surrounding area is washed and dried, the wart is roughed up with an emery board to allow for penetration of the formula, and then the product is applied directly to the wart. H-Warts is intended to handle several types of warts including common warts, plantar warts, flat warts, subungual and periungual warts (around the nails) as well as face and body warts. The website indicates that users should expect to see results in 2 weeks and complete elimination of the wart soon after that, depending on how large and what type of wart it is.
The reviews by users of this product are overwhelmingly positive. Most users report rapid elimination of their warts, including several people who say the product worked much faster than they thought it would. There are reports of successful removal of warts of all sizes and areas on the body. One customer even mentions the oil has a pleasant smell... certainly rare for a wart removal formula!
What's more is that the Healing Natural Oils website provides a link to Google reviews where we found not only more positive reviews about the H-Warts product, but about Healing Natural Oils as a company. It was particularly good to see such a long list of positive independent reviews, since testimonials that are featured on product websites can be cherry-picked to include only the positive reviews.
The cost for H-Warts is an affordable $29.95 for a 33 ml bottle. This is inexpensive compared to other similar products we've reviewed. Healing Natural Oils also offers a customer-friendly 90 day money-back guarantee.
With such a large number of positive reviews about the product and company, a low price point, and an excellent guarantee, we give H-Warts by Healing Natural Oils our highest rating.
Naturasil was founded in 2004 and specializes in producing natural, homeopathic remedies for a wide range of conditions including acne, muscle and joint pain, nail fungus to name just a few. This review will focus on the Naturasil Wart formula, which is designed to naturally eliminate plantar warts, common warts, flat warts and verruca.
The application of Naturasil Wart is topical like most wart removers. The user is to wash and completely dry the affected area, and then gentle score the wart using an emery board and remove any excess dead skin. This step is to be done before each application. Then, using the built in applicator brush, the user applies the formula directly on to the wart. This is repeated 3-4 times a day. Naturasil then recommends soaking a small piece of cotton ball with the formula and securing it over the wart with a band-aid overnight. Within 3-6 weeks the wart should start to diminish, however the website warns that some warts can be very persistent, so you must continue the process until the wart is completely gone.
Reviews for this product are overwhelmingly positive. There were dozens of reviews from folks who tried Naturasil Wart and had success in removing stubborn warts. Several people said they had persistent warts that had returned after having them frozen or burned off, that did not return after using Naturasil Wart Remover. Users report success removing warts from their face, feet, arms, legs, even genital warts in some cases. The only negative comment was that the smell of the product is very strong, but that seems to be the case with the majority of topical wart removers.
As mentioned, Naturasil produces only natural products so there are no harsh chemical ingredients or pesticides. The active ingredients are Thuja, Cedar Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil and Ricinus Communis Seed Oil. These natural oils penetrate the skin and work naturally to eliminate the warts. For anyone specifically seeking a remedy with all natural ingredients, Naturasil Wart has a leg up.
Naturasil Wart formula costs $29.95 for a 15 ml bottle, which is fairly inexpensive compared with some of the other wart removers we've reviewed. Naturasil also offers a 90 day money back guarantee if the customer is not satisfied with the results of the product.
Naturasil is a reputable company and their wart removal product appears to work very well for most people. The cost is reasonable, the 90 day guarantee is excellent, and for all these reasons we give Naturasil Wart Remover a high rating.
Wart Control is an all-natural wart fighting formula made by organic medicine company Forces of Nature. Forces of Nature has been in business since 1999 and all of their formulas are certified organic by the USDA and registered with the FDA. Although there is no accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, the FDA and USDA certifications are enough to guarantee the product will be free of chemicals, pesticides and toxins.
The Forces of Nature website is very straightforward and easy to use. Along the top there are links to their products, a page of sale items, bundles/collections of products, an 'about us' page and a link to subscribe to the Forces of Nature Facebook and Twitter pages.
The page for Wart Control shows a summary of the product information, and gives a number of options to choose from. There are three different strengths of Wart Control, regular, super and extreme, and there are also packages you can purchase that include the Wart Control formula along with medicated soap and pads. The regular strength bottle is $26.95, and the extra strength is only $3 more at $29.95, which is among the lowest cost of all the wart removal products we've reviewed. Also on the product detail page is the list of ingredients. The active ingredients in Wart Control are Thuja, Phytolacca Americana and Calendula Officinalis, all certified organic. We feel it is important for the ingredients to be listed clearly so potential customers know what they are purchasing.
The testimonials and reviews provided on the website are very positive. Several customers reported Wart Control getting rid of warts that were not removed using other methods. Many indicate the warts were gone 1 to 2 weeks after starting use of the product. We found other positive reviews as well outside of the Forces of Nature website, so it appears the Wart Control product is being used by many people and most, if not all, have experienced successful removal of their warts.
Forces of Nature offers free shipping on orders of $75 or more, which is a nice offer. More impressive is their money back guarantee policy which says you can return any product they offer for one full year after purchase.
Wart Control is produced by a reputable company that has been in business for a long time, and the product seems to work well for most people. Combined with a generous return policy, Wart Control earns high marks.
Wart and Mole Vanish is a product by Pristine Herbal Touch that promises to safely remove standard warts as well as genital warts, skin tags and syringoma, permanently and with no scaring. The formula promises to destroy the root of the lesion with a potent antiviral blend that helps prevent it from coming back.
The Pristine Herbal Touch website is very well organized and professional looking, with lots of details and information on the Wart and Mole Vanish product. The content is well organized, with sections containing information on the types of warts the product is designed to handle, product details, and details on the money back guarantee. There is a toll free customer service number which makes it easy for a consumer to contact Pristine Herbal Touch, a link to the Better Business Bureau ranking for this product, and notice of Trustware and Norton Antivirus security for all online transactions which lends a feeling of legitimacy to the site.
Also on the main web page is a clearly labeled instructions tab that outlines the process for applying Wart and Mole Vanish, which is a standard enough procedure. The wart is cleaned with soap and warm water, and then roughed up or scratched on the surface to allow the product to sink into the wart. The product is applied directly to the wart and after 20 minutes the area is washed clean with warm water. Normally after about a week the mole scabs over and falls off leaving minimal scarring.
The reviews we read are very positive, with most users reporting success in removing their stubborn warts, skin tags and syringoma. Many customers also noted excellent customer service provided by Pristine Herbal Touch, as well as speedy shipping. The money back guarantee was only 30 days which was a shorter than some of the other wart removal products we reviewed. Also in the details of the guarantee we noticed statements like the product is not guaranteed to remove all warts on the first application which made us wonder how easy making a refund claim would be.
Our biggest concern, however, was the cost of this product. The .05ml jar of Wart and Mole vanish was listed at a whopping $79 on "special" on the website. This is a lot more expensive by volume than the other mole removal products we have reviewed. Overall Wart and Mole Vanish seems like a good product from a reputable company, but it is too expensive compared to other similar products to earn our highest rating.
Wartrol is produced by parent company Natural Products Association, which has been in business for over 75 years. Wartrol has been in the market since 2002 and as indicated on the website, has been featured on news articles on Fox, ABC, CBS and CNN, MSN and USA Today. Additionally the product is FDA approved, something we haven't seen in any of the other wart fighting products we have reviewed.
The Wartrol website is striking to look at, but a little too busy and confusing for our tastes, and not terribly informative. The main page is full of large, full color graphics displaying various snippets of information in pictorial form. There is a section outlining how to apply the Wartrol product, a section describing what warts are and how they affect a person, sections confirming their formula is FDA approved and that the results have been shown in clinical trials. However there is no way to navigate deeper into any of these topics, and very few links of any kind at all.
Overall we found the website difficult and not very user friendly. It is effective in broadcasting the FDA approval and network news articles which lends a sense of legitimacy to the product, but there is very little in the way of information provided to potential customers.
The product itself seems decent enough. It is a topical solution and is applied much like any other topical wart fighting product. The area around the wart is washed and dried, and the Wartrol formula is applied directly to the wart. The main ingredient is the chemical Salicylic Acid, so anyone looking for an all-natural solution should try one of the other wart fighting products we have reviewed. Incidentally, this is also the reason for the FDA approval...Salicylic Acid has been clinically tested while many of the homeopathic ingredients in other products have not.
Our main problem here is again with the lack of information provided on the website. One of the sections on the main page claims the product is "fast acting" but no where does it explain how long it should be used or what results the user should expect to see. It just says to keep using it until the wart has gone away. There is also no testimonial page to review. There are a few brief testimonials listed on the main webpage, but none of them address how long the product took to work or provide any more details on the customer experience. We also had trouble finding independent reviews of the product, so was very little for us to go on when it came to customer satisfaction levels.
Wartrol is clinically tested and FDA approved, and there is a lot to be said for that. But the confusing website lacking information and the curious lack of positive reviews gave us pause. Add that to the fact that we didn't see any offers for free or discounted shipping, nor any return policy or satisfaction guarantee of any kind, and we're unable to recommend Wartrol very highly.
Nevi-Skin is a wart removal product from DermalMeds, an herbal remedy manufacturer, designed to remove standard warts, as well as plantars warts and skin tags. Nevi-Skin promises fast, safe, scar-free wart removal using natural ingredients.
Nevi-Skin is applied directly to the affected area and DermalMeds says their all natural ingredients are the highest quality in the industry. Most times a single application is all that is necessary completely and permanently remove the wart. Customer testimonials we read mostly agree; most reviews are very positive with regards to the results of the Nevi-Skin product. One customer reported success removing persistent planters that had failed to be permanently removed by other products such as freezing and surgical removal. After using Nevi-Skin on her plantars warts, however, they disappeared completely and did not recur.
The process for using the Nevi-Skin product is straightforward. The user cleans the wart to be treated with soap and warm water, and then using the supplied emery board to rough up the surface of the wart a little bit. This allows the product better absorption into the wart. Using the applicator stick provided with the product, the consumer applies the cream directly to the wart. After waiting 20-30 minutes the cream is washed off with warm water. In 24-48 hours a scab will form over the wart, and in 7-10 days the scab will fall off naturally and the wart will be gone. In some cases a second application may be necessary.
In addition to the positive results reported by users of this product, Nevi-Skin offers a 60 day unconditional money back guarantee. Even if someone has opened and used the product, they may return the unused portion within 60 days for a total refund. The exact cost of the product by volume, however, was a little difficult to identify. A single jar costs $39.95 and the website says this will handle 2-4 large warts; however we couldn't locate the volume in milliliters anywhere on the website. There is a $5 per jar discount for purchasing 2 jars and a $10 per jar discount for buying 3 jars.
Nowhere on the website were the active ingredients listed, which we weren't too fond of. Instead there is a note at the very bottom of the main page that says the statements on the website have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. There was too little information on the website for our liking. The contact page only allows you to send an e-mail to the company, and the "terms" page was under construction at the time of this writing.
Overall it appears Nevi-Skin is a good product for wart removal, but we really would have liked to see a lot more information provided on the website. For this reason we can only give Nevi-Skin a middle of the road ranking.
Warts are a very common skin condition, but can cause a great deal of embarrassment. Most warts are found on the hands and feet and are the result of a benign virus. However, warts can appear in other places of the body too, and while some may go away on their own, most will stay until removed.
For those familiar with wart removal, they know it can be an expensive and uncomfortable process that typically occurs at the doctor's office. Freezing and burning off warts are two of the most common methods of wart removal. However, today a number of products exist that use safe and natural ingredients to remove warts.
While there are a variety of products you can use at home without a prescription to remove warts, not all products are the same. Before you choose a wart removal product, you should consider the following:
