Over the last decade, Wedding Paper Divas has helped more than one million couples with their wedding printing needs, from invitations and menus to thank-you cards and favors for the guests. Their website is clean, crisp, and easy to use, and we love that design options are placed right on the main page for invitations. Customers can go directly to their preferred style (vintage, modern, classic & formal, rustic, whimsical, or photo), designer (Mindy Weiss, Claire Pettibone, and others), or even print techniques (foil-stamped, letterpress, laser-cut, and thermography).
Wedding Paper Divas also offers a free sample kit with invitations, swatches for color and paper, which comes with a discount of 20% off an order and free shipping. We appreciate their putting more decision-making power literally into the hands of their customers, so that they can make an informed choice with respect to the exact details of their invitations. Even better, Wedding Paper Divas offers a 100% refund if customers are unsatisfied with their purchase, if they aren't able to address the customers' concerns in another way. Customer service is readily available via online chat or toll-free number, should there be questions or issues at any step of the way.
While their shipping policies state that standard delivery is $9.99, we found multiple opportunities on the site to get shipping for free, including the code that accompanies the sample kit and a "Free Shipping for All Orders" code at the top of the main page. We found similar offers for discounts on orders, from 15% off orders of $199 and up to 20% off orders greater than $299. Given that Wedding Paper Divas prices can be spendy - starting at $179 for 100 invitations - those discounts might make it possible for couples on a budget to get a luxurious wedding invitation more affordably.
Wedding Paper Divas' nearly 800 designs are eye-catching, unique, and comprehensive, covering every conceivable theme, style, and printing need. Looking through customer testimonials, which even include an image of the specific product those individuals ordered, it's readily apparent that Wedding Paper Divas leaves no stone unturned when creating the perfect invitation, thank-you card, and more. Additionally, their Advice, Inspiration, and Community sections of the website give customers the chance to connect with others, get suggestions for invitation wording or budgeting, and even gain a more in-depth understanding of paper options for invites and other products.
Wedding Paper Divas has earned our highest rating. If you're looking for top quality, affordable wedding invitations, your first stop should be Wedding Paper Divas.

They have many different wedding invitation styles including pocket wedding invitations, invitations accessorized with ribbon, and sheer or vellum wedding invitations. They only charge an additional $25 for this service, which we think is quite a bargain.

With 364 designs for wedding invitations and announcements, Vistaprint is likely to have a design that meets the needs of most couples. For those who want to incorporate their own design into their special day, the site allows customers to upload their creation and use Vistaprint for the printing and envelopes. Users can easily create other items for their wedding, such as bridal shower and bachelorette invitations, menus and programs, RSVP cards and save-the-date announcements.
When creating a wedding invitation, customers can sort through options according to size and format (flat vs. folded), horizontal or vertical orientation, and color, as well as checking a box to include samples with an area for a logo or photos. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to sort by style (e.g. traditional vs. whimsical), so one would potentially need to look through hundreds of possibilities in order to find suitable matches. Alternately, customer service representatives are available by phone and live chat, seven days a week, to help customers choose the perfect design for their wedding style.
Vistaprint pricing is the most affordable among invitation retailers: most standard designs begin at $9 for 10 invitations, with decreasing per-invite prices for larger orders (e.g. $70 for 100 invitations). For a more refined look, customers can add linen paper to an order for an additional fee, or choose from the "luxury" section for the same designs in an ultra-thick stock. The latter option more than doubles the cost (for example, $168 for 100 invitations in the same design as previously quoted), and for that much extra we would have liked to see detailed information about the benefits of ordering a "luxury" style. Unfortunately, there was no information readily available, even when clicking the "Learn More" button.
Unlike many wedding invitation retailers, Vistaprint does not offer free shipping on any orders. Shipping costs for all orders are based on the total cost, starting with economy pricing of $4.99 for orders up to $20, up to $12.99 for orders over $100. Express shipping is also available, for an expensive $19.99 to $34.99.
What we love about Vistaprint is their absolute satisfaction guarantee. They stand by their products and are committed to making things right, from reprinting an order to issuing a full refund.
At Ann's Bridal Bargains, you can order from a variety of affordable custom printed and do-it-yourself invitations to fit just about any budget. Customers will appreciate their user friend website and wide assortment of customized invitation options.
Customers may choose the ink color, font style, and verbiage on 350 different styles of invitations to suit any budget. Some of their selection includes:
You can request samples of invitations from Ann's, before you order, to confirm the color and the paper before purchasing. Once you've chosen a design, Ann's website let's you customize and preview your final product. Also, this company provides the option of ordering coordinating items such as envelops, menus, programs and table numbers. One thing we struggled to find on Ann's was a traditional invitation for more formal events.
Ann's completes and ships orders within 3-5 days - a little longer than other companies reviewed. The also offer a variety of shipping options including ground and overnight shipping. Unfortunately, Ann's does not offer free shipping on any size orders.
In addition to invitations, Ann's sells many other wedding accessories. They sell a variety of items for the wedding ceremony such as unity candles, ring pillows and wedding bubbles. They also sell many items for the reception such as cake servers, napkins, table decorations and cake toppers. Many of these items can be personalized just for you. Ann's also has an assortment of gifts for the members of the wedding party.
This wedding store has a nice selection of invitations as well as wedding and reception accessories for those on a budget. However, shipping is not free and should be considered when looking at the overall price. While the selection was large, we had a tough time finding a more traditional invitation that appeals to many couples. Overall, Ann's Bridal Bargains may meet the needs of some that are looking for a wide selection of budget invitations.
You may already be familiar with PsPrint if you've ever ordered customized checks: their parent company, Deluxe, has been in business for over 100 years and has an excellent reputation for high-quality print work.
When it comes to wedding invitations, PsPrint is best described as affordable and basic. Although they excitedly say they have "dozens" of templates to choose from, there are actually just 14 unique designs available in three different sizes and several different colors. These designs are primary postcard-style, some with photo options and others without. They also have a design-your-own tool, if you prefer to bring your own artwork and style.
The PsPrint site is less than straightforward when you're looking for pricing. Where many wedding invitation businesses show you the prices right on the product listing, you'll have to dig a little to find it with PsPrint. For example, on a basic 4x6 design, we could only see a price of $25 for 50 until we actually started designing the invitation. That price also reflected a 60% discount promo at the time of our review; we didn't have to enter a promo code, because it was applied automatically. v
With a selected production time of 5 business days plus ground shipping (for a fee of $11), our invitations wouldn't be delivered for two weeks. The quickest we could get was a 2-day production, which still had an expected delivery time of 9 days from the day we placed the order.
What we definitely liked about PsPrint is their reputation for excellent customer service. If you happen to find a similar wedding invitation priced for less within 7 days of placing your order, PsPrint will gladly refund the difference. Also, if your invitations don't meet your standards, you can let PsPrint know within 30 days of delivery; depending on the circumstances, they'll either reprint your order or refund your purchase price.
PsPrint is a solid option for budget-conscious couples who just want a basic wedding invitation.
Hanson Ellis offers an extremely limited but unique selection of wedding invitations. There is a total of eighteen designs separated in two categories: casual and traditional. The casual designs include a darling beach invitation, which is rolled and placed in a bottle complete with sand and shells. If someone wanted a unique way to announce their upcoming beach wedding, this would certainly be a way to do it!
The "traditional" styles are multi-fold designs with multi-layered accents. Contrary to its name, we wouldn't consider these to be "traditional" wedding announcements. Customers have the opportunity to personalize their custom made invitations, creating a truly one-of-a-kind invitation. Prices were firmly in the high end for the invitations offered. Samples and print catalogs are not available.
Because the options are so extremely limited and not what most customers are looking for, we would not consider Hanson Ellis to be suitable for most people in the market for wedding invitations.
This is a site for those few individuals looking for a specific style of invitation. If you are looking for something a little more traditional, don't waste your time.
A beautiful wedding starts with a beautiful wedding invitation. Your wedding invitation sets the tone for the entire event - and you never get a second chance at a first impression.
Are you interested in a traditional wedding invitation? Or an invitation that is more whimsical and less formal? Or perhaps a wedding invitation that's more unique, representing your interests as a couple? There are literally hundreds of styles of wedding invitations to choose from.
Of course, you can always buy wedding invitations from a local store. However, purchasing your wedding invitations over the internet can give you many more options to choose from, and at a much lower cost. In fact, it's for these very reasons that online sales of wedding invitations have enjoyed record growth over the last few years.
Before you start shopping to pick out your wedding invitations, thare are many important factors to consider. Some of these include:
